Beachfront holiday rentals in Gavião

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment! It's in a quiet location (at least in May) and a short walk to the beach. Three other beautiful beaches were within a short drive and pretty much empty! The Airbnb is on the top floor, so you need to bring luggage up flights of outdoor stairs. They showed us around the place with a good sense of humor, and gave us a plentiful welcome basket. The larger bedroom has a walk-in shower that is tiny and somewhat difficult to use. The other shower is European-style, in a tub with a half-door of glass, so it's easy to make a bit of a mess. Carlos/Analia were wonderfully responsive to our requests -- dropping off a hairdryer, extra towels and beach umbrella -- and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Their own restaurant, Perturbar, has extremely generous servings and is utterly delightful! The washing machine was broken, but they offered to take our wash to a laundry. A lot of thought and creativity has been poured into this apartment!

Very charming and charismatic. The decoration was peculiar and interesting. The house was as described. Interesting sleeping arrangements, that badge the house fun.

We really loved this peaceful place. There is nature all around, a river to swim in and a big terrace around the house! Ana Maria welcomed us as friends and Sr. Concesso was very nice and helpful during our stay. Muito obrigado!

The apartment was very clean upon arrival. Seemingly very functional with all the necessary equipment to cook and have a good holiday. The bedding was very comfortable. The location is close to the beach (50 meters). Lots of restaurants nearby, 2 grocery stores 100m away, a bookstore and several cafes downstairs from the building. Communication with Hil was simple and efficient. Very responsive and gave me good addresses. Nothing to say it was perfect

An absolutely amazing stay in Portugal. Every detail was well thought-out. From the room, to the view, the decor and the breakfast . Our stay was truly heavenly The honesty bar added an extra touch - being able to sample local produce in the comfort of amazing surrounds. 10/10

Anne was super helpful and gracefully let me change my booking at the last minute. Quick to respond. Her 'assitant' Rachelle who was there and took care of the check-in was equally friendly and responsive. The apartment was great, ideal for a family of 4 or 5. One balcony looks directly out to the beach and the Atlantic, which is literally just across the road. Private, secure parking. Very clean. Very quiet in April. Nazare and the big waves (if you are lucky enough) are just 12 min drive down the road.

You feel warmly welcomed, beautiful loving design and furnishings. Extremely friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Perfect for a getaway

We had a lovely week at Elodie's place. The roof terrace is the highlight of the apartment, we spent a lot of time up there. The apartment is great too! It looks just like the photos. The surroundings are great. The beach is idyllic and we walked for miles along the coastline. The little village was quiet in September but we still enjoyed some good meals. Visiting Nazaré is easy with a car or taxi (Uber or Bolt both worked well). The apartment was a perfect place to stay with dogs, lots to do with them in the area and they enjoyed sunbathing on the roof terrace. Elodie went above and beyond to accommodate us and we really appreciate all her help and recommendations.

Wonderful cozy apartment with everything you need! Gos loved being so close to the beach. There is a bike path that takes us to Lagoa Ervedeira and to Leiria beach. Communication with Julie and Isaura was great and fast. I highly recommend and we will stay there again!

Great place, amazing location. Pedro was a great communicator and the maintenance lady was wonderful and kind as well. Highly recommend this place - lots to do around town!

This little house (which is the ideal size) is certainly one of the best surprises this year, without a doubt the most important part of one of the best weekend ever! House with excellent areas, with garage for 1 car and even close to the beach. The hosts are super friendly and available. We love our stay!

It was wonderful, the house is very tastefully decorated, it is 50 m away from the sea in a quiet, pretty street with its own parking, which is a great advantage on weekends. The kitchen has everything you need and we cooked delicious things and ate on the terrace. Inês is very nice and speaks good English and always responds within 10 minutes and everything is immediately clarified and done. It couldn't be better. We will definitely come back next year!!!!! It was a dream vacation.

Isilda was a great host, attentive and kind. The house is as described. There were 8 of us, but we were very comfortable and didn't miss anything. Regarding the area, we did not know it and we liked it, quiet but with several restaurants and beach bars where we ate quite well.

Ana was an great host and the house is absolutely amazing! Ana was super flexible with check in and check out times and through the duration of our stay made sure we had all we needed to be comfortable. We will definitely be back for more family vacation.
