We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

This place was perfect for me and my family. It matched the description and photos exactly, and Alice and Bob were responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The spacious outdoor area was a big highlight—it gave our kids plenty of room to play and provided a fantastic space for a braai. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others.

Our stay at Yana’s beautiful 3-bedroom Airbnb was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — even better than the photos. She even kindly had fresh flowers for our stay put in. The living areas were spacious and perfect for relaxing together after a day of exploring. Yana has thought of everything — from a fully stocked kitchen to small, thoughtful touches like fresh coffee, cozy blankets, and local recommendations. The WiFi was strong, and all the amenities worked perfectly. The location was fantastic as well — quiet, safe, and conveniently close to everything we needed, from restaurants and cafes to parks and shopping. Rosebank is only 4 mins away by car. Above all, Yana was an outstanding host — responsive, friendly, and genuinely caring about our experience. The house is set on a beautiful piece of land, that’s quiet and peaceful. A bonus was the play area for kids and a beautiful garden that we didn’t enjoy enough. Everything we needed was in the house, which had heaters in every room to keep us warm in the night. The hosts were wonderful, always responsive, helpful and very open to our requests. We would definitely visit again.

As advertised, this is indeed an oasis in busy Johannesburg! The directions were very clear, location was easy to find, and check in was easy. The space itself is lovely - spacious, very clean, and extremely well-equipped. Little details like lovely shampoo, conditioner, and soap and the kitchen being pre-stocked with coffee, eggs, butter, milk, and all sorts of spices for cooking made us feel right at home. This is one of the best AirBNBs I've been to from an attention to detail perspective. The garden is also lovely, and the cottage is very private and secure. The location is fantastic - close to everything from Sandton to Parkhurst to Zoo Lake. Liza was proactive and friendly with communication, and has really put the time into making sure that we were safe and comfortable.

As I had said, I wish this was a 3 bedroom apartment. It’s everything and more. The gym is very well equipped and the pool pristine. Security is top call and 6 mins away from Rosebank Mall.

The place was so neat and beautiful, it was home away from home. I wished to extend my stay while i was there. The host was also helpful and proactive. Never struggled to get anything i wanted.

Great place to stay

Paul's place was cozy, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood felt safe. Easy uber ride to most things. Paul was communicative and responsive. We had a very nice stay.

I can't fault this accommodation in any way. My husband and I have booked Annemarie's place twice now, and it's become our go-to choice for Pretoria stays. Also, I appreciate how responsive and kind Annemarie is - she's a wonderful host!

Elize was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The surroundings were so peaceful and relaxing, perfect for anyone needing a break from the hustle and bustle. I especially loved waking up to the quiet mornings and enjoying the calm atmosphere throughout my stay. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It’s well-maintained, thoughtfully equipped, and you can tell the host really cares about creating a great guest experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a restful getaway with a kind and attentive host. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Michael and Adri were such wonderful hosts. They gave good recommendations and were accommodating towards what we needed. Although it rained for our entire stay there, the surroundings are beautiful and the water hole , with its animals should be a great treat on a sunny day.

Very nice accommodation in a peaceful location, close to the river! Kitchen quite well equipped for cooking and a braai area just in front. The Utopia facilities - around a 15 minute walk from the accommodation (or you can easily drive there and park) - including two large pools and putt putt are also very nice. Worth noting that the two bedrooms upstairs are separated only by a curtain (no door) which wasn’t a problem for us (a couple) however might be an issue if you are with a larger family/group. Also might not be the best choice if you are scared of snakes! We encountered a spitting cobra just in front of the chalet, next to our parked car, which moved into the bush once it saw us.

This place is so peaceful, if you are looking for a serene place to relax, out of the city and connect with nature this is the place to be. Anita is such an impeccable host, she constantly checks up on you and is big on communication . The unit has all the necessities you might need during your stay and it's one of the most beautiful in the premises situated close to the flowing river. I will definitely be coming back, we enjoyed ourselves.

We had an incredible mid-week two night stay. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful and Mana cabin is a beautiful piece of architecture well integrated with the surrounding environment. The inside/outside living space is great to enjoy the surrounding nature. The highlight was the open bathroom, shower and bath. We had a wonderful time.
