Shore Cottage - UK12524

AdyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I am loathed to say what I truly feel because I would love to keep this place to myself but this cottage is stunning. The cottage is so cosy, lovely and clean, and so relaxing. One minute away is the gorgeous beach- private for visitors to Galloway House Gardens and cottage residents, and you are surrounded by the stunning Galloway Gardens and countryside. For everything written elsewhere, the internet was fine, just an occasional streaming issue but otherwise not a problem. There is also a little welcome pack but take your own tea/coffee/sugar should you wish. Shore Cottage really is an amazing serene place and we hope to go back very soon!

Stunning property, perfect location for the Forest and Mull of Galloway. We are regular visitors to the area. Catherine’s place has just gone straight to the top of places I will book if it’s free.

Lovely place to stay, had everything you need. Beautiful surroundings. Plenty of info on places to go. Kam telephoned on our arrival to make sure all was ok and give advise re how to use heating etc . Loved the tasty shortbread and a nice cuppa on arrival from welcome pack. Thanks Kam for a lovely few days.

Charming Galloway cottage - beaches & walks nearby

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Charles was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to accommodate for our family. He has brilliant local recommendations and a very helpful website. Burnside is a beautiful, secluded cottage with everything you could need. Lots of wildlife to be spotted in the garden and surrounding fields and close to many amazing places with countless things to see and do! Can’t wait to return again on our next trip to Scotland. Thank you Charles ✨

Little Rock | Seaside Cottage

AdeleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What an amazing experience. Communication was fast, accurate and informative. The space was equipped to a very high standard with all you could ever need. The beds were amazing, comfortable with crisp white bedsing. 2 bathrooms were well designed. The garden is gorgeous and the local area has, possibly, some of the best views ive ever seen. Woke up refreshed to birdsong every morning. The welcome pack was generous and appreciated We'll be back!

High Ersock Cottage, Isle of Whithorn

WendyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
If you're looking for a quiet & peaceful break away from the madness of modern life, as we were, this is the very place. This is a straightforward, no nonsense comfortable & private cottage at the bottom of the farm's track, very easy to find & with a good parking patch & safely enclosed garden. Very clear instructions for everything & sensible & simple house rules which we were happy to follow, especially with regard to our dog. This is not an 'all bells & whistles' done up modern holiday let, but a genuine & older cottage - which makes you feel relaxed & at home. So refreshing to find a proper big bar of soap in the bathroom & not have to shift a mountain of fancy cushions to get into bed! Lesley, who must be a very busy person with the farm, also manages to be an excellent, thoughtful & helpful host & we are most appreciative of her kindness.
