Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gare Saint Jean, Bordeaux

My husband and I recently returned from a month-long stay at Alexandre and Precillia’s home. Our stay was perfect in every sense. The home was exactly as pictured, the location unbeatable for exploring all of Bordeaux and several day trips to the Left and Right Bank as well as Arcachon, etc. The walking distance to the tram and local grocery store(s) was also a nice benefit. A bit more about the home, it was very clean, well-organized and extremely comfortable. The washing machine and basement space were also very convenient; the basement kept our wine purchases at a perfect temperature! We felt safe and secure. It must be noted I am a persnickety traveler; we would stay again. Alexandre and Precillia we great hosts, accommodating, thoughtful and always available for questions or assistance. Your stay will not be disappointing.

We had the loveliest week here. It’s a beautiful property, in a idyllic spot on the river, with a lovely pool and garden. The inside of the property was beautiful and felt brand new! We found we could walk to the train station and into the small town easily to explore the area. You will also have the friendliest hosts! Thank you for a memorable stay

We truly enjoyed staying in Maria’s wonderful home. She was very helpful and communicative and provided clear instructions for getting to the house. We would absolutely stay here again!

A haven of peace not far from the train station, the nearby tram allows access to the heart of the city very quickly. The garden is a real plus. François is very available, and responsive they recommend good places in the city and its surroundings. Self access to the house is a plus and access via a code for our large group was perfect.

We took this accommodation for the proximity to the accommodation of friends who would be celebrating their birthday. It was perfect, we were able to do everything on foot!!

The accommodation is really nice and pretty. The bed is super comfortable and the neighborhood has the best location to walk in the center of the city. It has definitely worth the price payed. Looking forward to return soon.

Great stay at Isa's, atypical and nicely decorated house where you really feel at home. Special mention for Anorak who welcomed us very well into her home with cuddles and purr.

This place was outstanding. Spacious rooms, fully appointed kitchen, nice bathroom.

The stay in Cedric's apartment was pleasant. The apartment is well located, easy to get around on foot and reach the center. The area is quiet. The apartment is clean, well equipped and matches the photos shown. Two small clarifications: the ceiling is low, it is an attic, be careful if you are very tall. The bathroom is located inside the bedroom, not separated by any door, there is not much privacy. If you are traveling with more than two people, keep in mind that whoever sleeps on the sofa bed, every time they use the bathroom must enter the room. Overall I would say it was a good stay

A beautiful apartment in a very central part of Bordeaux!

Great stay in Bordeaux! The space was great and super clean. But most importantly, the host was really great: super nice, respectful of our privacy while remaining super open and sociable. We even had a great barbecue together, it was a great time to share. Honestly, I'd recommend it without a second thought, and I'd be happy to come back! And thank you again for everything.

We stayed one night at this place with my two Harry Potter fans, who were delighted with the surprise! The studio is clean, well-equipped, carefully decorated in the spirit of the book, with many accessories, and the check-in and check-out instructions are clear and accurate. The location in a cobblestone alley close to the historic center and the old stones of the building add character to the whole. We enjoyed the home theater in the evening while watching one of the films in the saga, available. Friendly and extremely responsive host. Two simple notes: - The bathroom sink is really high (and yet I'm not small); - the visuals of the different wizard's apartments being mixed in the listing, we expected to have a four-poster bed (instead of a loft bed, very well made nevertheless!), but this may be the case in Dijon. That doesn't take away from the good memory we'll keep!

We enjoyed a three night/four day stay at Florian's apartment and we all said that we would use it again if we were to return to Bordeaux. The location is ideal, just a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants and sightseeing spots. The apartment itself had all that we needed to make our stay comfortable, including the air conditioning and fans in the bedrooms and the comfy sofa for late night TV watching! We had read about the amount of stairs to the apartment before we booked so we knew what to expect and found that they were not so bad if you take them slowly! Florian was very quick to respond to any of my questions and super friendly. All in all we couldn't fault our stay at Florian's apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Monica’s place is amazing! Perfect for walking everywhere and delicious restaurants too. She is very hospitable leaving wine and food to prepare, if desired. We would definitely stay here when we return.!

House in a quiet and uncrowded subdivision. Nearby, access roads to the ring road and shops. The house is beautifully decorated, surrounded by a beautiful garden. No worries about parking. The description is true to the listing and Françoise is attentive to things going smoothly.

Had an absolutely beautiful and peaceful time at Guillaumes house. It was clean had all the amenities we needed. The pool was lovely for the days we stayed in. We were in walking distance of the train station/ tram and plenty of buses. We did also hire a car for the second half of our holiday, which you do have to pay for parking on the street between 7pm and 9am but our days out were long so this wasn't an issue. We didn't realise until we got there that lots of the local restaurants were closed for holidays, which was a shame, but wasn't an issue. The kitchen was so sociable and the rooms a perfect size for the setup we needed. I have already recommended this place to friends and family if they get an opportunity to go. It was just stunning. A modern villa for your family to stay and have a relaxing time off.

Absolutely stunning villa, great to share with friends and family. The location was perfect, very tranquil, a beautiful vista to wake up to every morning. Very spacious villa, with great facilities. Super host, very speedy to reply to any questions and gave some super recommendations. Very flexible on check in, check out time too!

Margaux's house is very nice, warm, very well arranged, and carefully decorated. Thanks to her for her responsiveness and for the clarity of her explanations. We'll be back, I hope.

This is the most beautiful AirBnB we have ever stayed in. The house was immaculate, the pool was warm, the hot tub was clean and there were so many lovely touches on arrival, including a bottle of red and white wine and a little bunny rabbit for my little girl. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you can need, including a racelette machine, air fryer and a washer/tumble. The area is amazing, so close to Creon and Bordeaux, surrounded by the most beautiful vineyards- I can’t fault it! Arnaud was the perfect host, so friendly and responsive and helped us so much in the weeks leading up to our stay, contacting various golf courses and restaurants. He also facilitated our early check in at short notice - which was hugely appreciated. This place is an absolute must and we are already planning our trip back! Thank you so much Arnaud for an unforgettable holiday!

This place was absolutely incredible, it had everything we needed and Celine was so helpful and responsive. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again - it was a perfect paradise!

Amazing house which is somehow even nicer and more spacious than in the photos. Charlotte and her husband were nearby and very helpful with any questions we had. It seemed expensive when booking but it was well worth it, it's an ideal place for a large group. We were two families with toddlers and it was perfect for us, very close to the tram and supermarket with a lovely big garden and Charlotte even had some toys available which they loved. The pool is safely fenced off and gated. We can't recommend it highly enough!
