Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gardone Riviera

This charming and historic apartment was very comfortable for our group of 4 adults, baby, and toddler. The location is amazing, on a quiet lane next to the castle, with incredible views across the town, lake, and castle. There is a small swimming cove just below the apartment suitable for adults or a quick dip with children. The wider pebble beach with a lifeguard is a short walk away, as is the ferry to Limone sul Garda. The town’s best gelato shop is around the corner, as is an excellent restaurant Paradiso Perduto (reserve ahead). Matteo and Ludovica were very hospitable and responsive, and met us in person at both check-in and departure. They arranged a complimentary transfer of our luggage with an ape, which was much appreciated across the cobblestone lanes. One thing to consider is if you are sensitive to heat, the two bedrooms on the upper floor can get quite warm in the summer months. We visited during an unseasonably warm June, but thankfully the fans were sufficient.

Incredible space! Like a movie. There is love in every detail. The host took care of the design very carefully, every accessory, from bed linen to furniture in the interior complements the picture. Very clean, and there is everything you need in the kitchen ( electronic appliances, appliances, dishes, even tea/sugar/heat/oil) The host is always available and responds very quickly and is always ready to provide recommendations, or hints. Very quiet and atmospheric town with delicious restaurants. We stayed with two families with children ( and another family of our friends nearby in the hotel) and had a great time! I recommend this place 100%

The House suited us perfectly. We loved sitting outside in the courtyard for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. It’s part of an amazing group of 16th Century buildings around the central courtyard. Once inside the gates, it was quite quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we enjoyed cooking there. The area is amazing with easy access to Lake Garda, Verona, and wineries in Valpolicella. Highly recommended!

Andrea’s place was wonderful. Nice walk to the heart of Verona, but the apartment (basically a house) is very spacious with much appreciated parking. Arrive and leave the car to explore the wonderful city of Verona!!! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicola's place. The space was outstanding and the view was a dream. The place is a little elevated and we recommend a car to go to Bardolino. Bardolino is also great with children and dog. It has a dog playground and lots of options for kids. The highlight was the little stroll.

Casa Martinelli was a great stay. spacious clean apartment right in the middle of Limone. the host Mattia was very friendly and helpful. thanks for the amazing experience.

Piero's house is beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. The view of Lake Garda from the roof terrace and the upper floor is unique. Piero was totally friendly and accommodating, one of the best hosts we had so far. Thank you for being welcome with two dogs too! Tignale is a great little place with a supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, ice cream shop and other shops within walking distance. We had a great time and can only recommend Casa Delle Rondini and Piero as hosts. Mille Grazie!!

we spent 2 days in the Saló region, absolutely beautiful! we recommend taking the boat to Riva, a superb experience! Sebastiano's apartment is very large, clean and very well equipped and well located to discover a lot of very beautiful places on Lake Garda. And above all, Sebastiano is a charming host who gave us very good advice. Thank you!

We spent a whole week in this accommodation as a family with a dog and were absolutely happy! The accommodation is even more beautiful and larger than it is already visible in the advertisement. The associated garden is huge and beautiful. It was an absolute pleasure to relax there on the terrace or in the hammock. Our dog also found the outlet great, everything was fenced. Inside, everything was extremely spacious, so that we never felt cramped with 4 people and a dog, or you could always find your peace. Carlo, the host, is incredibly eager to ensure the well-being, gave us great tips for restaurants or activities and was always quickly accessible. A super warm-hearted person! We will remember the stay with longing - we will definitely come back one day!

We had a great stay here in Verona! Gianlucas place was the perfect location - just outside of the city but an easy walk. Close to public transport and fantastic food options around you. Gianluca and Dora were very responsive hosts. It was a comfortable place and I would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed the lovely secluded property of the two nice and helpful hosts Alberto du Olivia. A longer journey drew up the mountain up to 600 meters, most recently through forest over a gravel road. We were rewarded at the end of the slopes with a magnificent view on a large clearing; there is the old farmhouse. A beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated apartment and the entire outdoor area were at our disposal. In the morning sun we used the seating area in front of the house, the sun loungers in the afternoon and the veranda in the evening or set the table for sunset on the large meadow in front of the house. There were bed linen, towels, kitchen towels and there was also no lack of salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, vinegar and olive oil in the well-equipped kitchen. In the fridge, both a bottle of sparkling wine and water were nicely ready to welcome you and on the table we were looking forward to a fresh bouquet of flowers! There was nothing missing.

We had the Sole apartment on the farm. Perfect for a family with children thanks to the two bedrooms and plenty of space in the kitchen, for cool evenings with a large fireplace. Everything necessary was available. The apartment itself was very clean and furnished according to the ambience. Despite the heat, the apartment was comfortable, even without air conditioning. The location itself, the view over the bay of Salò, the southern Lake Garda, the tranquility, the large outdoor area in the garden... a dream. The large pool provides a place to cool off, and the nearest swimming spot on the lake is only 10 minutes away by car. We will be happy to come back!!!

Enrico and Flavia’s Airbnb was perfect for us! 10/10 I would recommend and we’re already planning a trip back. The view was beautiful, Flavia was very friendly, and the space was super clean! We were 3 adults and a very active toddler and there was more than enough room for all of us. We did have a car which was helpful, we did lots of exploring from this location and didn’t want to leave. There was a pack n play and high chair for the baby which was great. Communication was seamless as well. We got there early and left a little bit late and Flavia was great with everything. If you’re on the fence about booking, just book you won’t regret it!

Elena's apartment is fabulous with so much charm and character, and with plenty of space. It is in a fantastic location with all the main sights of Verona and so many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Elena was a brilliant host.

Alexia was a superb host, friendly and helpful. The villa was a great place to unwind after attending our son's wedding and offered everything for eight wedding guests. A lovely secluded pool, plenty of kitchen and houshold supplies, lots of own eggs and vegetables. Oh! and two friendly dogs. Kelvin Roberts.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Giulio’s Brickhouse! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. Back yard was huge so we could play some footbal and pool nearby was perfect to hang out during hot days. The location was perfect—close to crowdy Verona that we wanted to see, yet peaceful and quiet at the property. I especially appreciated how responsive and friendly the host was; communication was clear, timely, and helpful throughout all our stay. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. Whether you’re visiting for work or relaxation, this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

A beautiful apartment in a lovely location with fabulous views over Lake Garda. Inside super clean and tidy with marble floor keeping it super cool. Plenty of space for two people inside and outside on the large terrace with tables and chairs, loungers by the poolside and a fantastic brick built bbq for use. Set up on the lakeside up a steepish hill and a 1km walk into town if on foot - good exercise! Apartment had everything you needed to get away from it all - no tv which we didn't miss but good wifi and music sonos. Everything was excellent and we fully relaxed here and really enjoyed our stay. Simon and Andrea were super helpful hosts and went above and beyond to assist us. We would thoroughly recommend staying here to explore this lovely part of Italy.

We had a great time at the place. Especially the outdoor area with pool and grill was our favorite place. The cute dog on the premises also enriched our vacation. Due to the great location of the house, we had the perfect mix of tranquility and proximity to great destinations, such as Verona or Lake Garda. Communication with Simone was very good. 🙂

Beautiful Villa for a Big family. Would love to stay again.

We enjoyed staying there as a family very much and had a very comfortable week. The house is very beautiful and very useful. Also Fausta is a very helpful lady. She is an incredibly caring and friendly host.

Matteo’s place is even more beautiful and more spacious than the pictures. We were blown away by the property, inside and out. The property is right next to a walking path that brings you down into the town. The path is definitely not for the faint of heart as it’s very steep, but there are some beautiful viewing points. If you have the proper shoes and don’t mind a bit of a workout, it’s great. For the most part, taxis are readily available to/from the town. There’s also a hotel with a restaurant and another restaurant about 10 mins walking from the Airbnb which was great when we didn’t feel like going back down into town. If you’re looking for a place with privacy, views, a pool, and plenty of space, this is the place.

Il Castello was my favorite Airbnb on our 3 leg Italy trip!! The location has absolutely breathtaking views of the Valpolicella region. Vineyards, olive trees, cherry trees, cypress and wisteria! It's so quiet and peaceful, yet endearing with the church bells in the distance. We enjoyed having our morning cappuccinos on the patio that overlooked the valley. Kate's brother Hugh was so kind and helpful. He met us at the bus stop when we got to Negrar, took us to the grocery store and drove us to the home. We did not have a car, so we really appreciated his help!! The bus system is handy for getting around Negrar and Verona (albeit confusing). I would highly recommend this home if you'd like a true Italian countryside experience!!
