House holiday rentals in Gansbaai

So enjoyed our weekend away! It was peaceful and we had beautiful weather as well - which was surprising for June. Walking distance to and from the beach. Enjoyed the fire pit area and chats around the fire and the pool. Good kitchen facilities and sleeping accommodation. Everything was clean. The neighborhood also felt safe. Claudette is also a very good host - very helpful and responsive with queries pre-check-in and throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect getaway! The place was absolutely stunning, you could see the thoughtfulness that went into the place, the decor and even the small details such as swimming towels, blankets on the sofa, logs by the fire place, diffusers and scents around the house, etc. Our stay was short but blissful. Definitely would stay longer a next time to enjoy the wood fire hot tub some more and the BBQ area in the back. The place is close to many wonderful restaurants and activities yet when you get home it's completely private and peaceful. Mark was an extremely responsive host and very easy to communicate with. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. Storkerden is an absolutely fantastic beach house with so much to offer. Our family had such an awesome restful time here. Every room has a beach view. It was bliss. I can highly recommend it!

Such a fabulous weekend! The house is well positioned, light, airy and really well equipped with everything you need. Towels, linen, soaps and extra welcome gifts of wine fruit and milk didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks for a truly super stay and allowing our doggies to stay too. The Airbnb is great. Host is super. The town itself doesn't have much in the way of activities or shops, so it's perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway. The house and location are perfect for watching the sun set.

We had such a relaxing stay, exactly what we needed. The space was private, peaceful, and well set up for a comfortable break. Our host was responsive and made everything easy. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We had a lovely 2day stay. The beach house has enough of everything. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful decorated open space with a sea view. The beds and couches are very comfortable. Definitely a great place for a short or long getaway.

Stuart was a great host, communicated promptly from the start, flexible with the check in and check out times and super friendly. The house and pool were a 'wow', both bigger than anticipated. The pool was 6x2.4 metres and deep enough to swim in and the little children in our party loved the seating ledge which was wide and long enough for them to play on when they weren't bobbing around on their floats. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and more, including extras such as beach towels, cleaning products, toiletries and condiments. The main bedroom had a stunning sea view and was very spacious and comfortable with a fabulous ensuite and patio area overlooking the mountain. All in all a faultless 5 star location. We would definitely recommend.

The house is very comfortably laid out and furnished. It feels like new, and is crisp and clean. The town is a quiet beach holiday town with no shopping areas. Alison gave us detailed information about this, as well as where to get groceries and the preferred route to get to the house. Thank you Alison for being great with communication and opening your home.

Truly a gem of a place! Clean, comfortable and cosy with a lovely large enclosed garden for the dogs. We loved listening to the frogs at night and the bountiful of beautiful birds in the day. Close enough to the main road with lots of restaurants and to the wandelpad for lovely long sunrise and sunset walks with the dogs. Allison as a host was friendly and accommodating. We loved Allison’s place and will always try to come back in the future. Thank you Allison.

We had an incredible weekend away with five couples, and this place was perfect for our group. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortably fit all of us with room to relax and enjoy. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true escape. We really appreciated how quiet and serene everything was—it gave us the perfect chance to unwind and enjoy each other's company. Honestly, we all wished we could have stayed a day or two longer! We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable group getaway.

We LOVED the house and felt very comfortable there. It is very quite, safe, close to the beach and the house is just beautiful. Very tasteful interior design and everything needed was there. We would love to come back some time. Definitely recommendable!!!
