Townhome holiday rentals in Ganges

I don't even know where to start! It is just amazing how friendly and welcoming Bhadra and his family are. We had an amazing stay, the place is perfectly located just a bit outside of the nosie of lakeside but close enough to walk there for morning/evening stroll with a nice drink. The room is comfortable with everything you need. The bathroom has a good hot shower and it's very spacious. We also had a few meals at his place and everything was tasty and delicious. We also had a banana lassi, which was the best one we had on the entire trip. As Bhadra was so welcoming and helpful, we also decided to go trekking with him as our guide, and it was the most wonderful experience. Bharda is both very knowledgeable and incredibly kind. He looked after us the whole time, a perfect companion. Highly recommended!

Lovely place and what a sound dude Nirbhav is! I was lucky enough to stay in Kathmandu for a couple days around the new year, and Nirbhav gave me some tips for local stuff to do and gave me a lift around on his bike which he totally didn’t have to do! Also his mum was around one morning and cooked me a lunch which was super kind of her. Wish I was able to stay longer so I could get to know Nirbhav better!

Staying in Om's house is truly an authentic and memorable experience. They go the extra mile in making our stay as smooth, sweet and convenient as possible. Sunny is just a text or call away when we have questions. The house is just a few meters away from the durbar square. They even provide some basic necessities like water, eggs, bread, jam and yogurt (the best!). The whole family was kind enough to check on us if we need anything. We really enjoyed our short stay here.

Anand's place was perfect for our one week stay, the room with kitchen has its independent entrance. It's in a back street, only one block away from the main one. The room and kitchen had everything we could need, the space was clean and Anand and his mother are very friendly, helpful and kind. Anand recommended us two of our favorites spots, the restaurant green hills just 3 minutes away and Kunjapuri temple with astounding Himalayan views. We rented a scooter which allowed us to discover very nice areas along the Ganges. If we come back we would definitely stay again with Anand!

The space was absolutely what was promised. The bed was super comfy and clean. And Nishant was an excellent host. Helped me out with getting my bearings in the neighborhood. I will definitely be looking to stay the next time I come to Haridwar.

Fantastic experience living in a rustic Newari home. Felt welcome and cared for. The hostess went out of my way to make me experience their way of life including rituals. Thank you for making me stay memorable.

Rabina was very friendly and open. She shared some local stories, recommendations, and the best places for hiking near Kathmandu. The room was clean and spacious, with big windows and good natural light. There was easy access to a very beautiful and spacious rooftop from which you can see the city and the Monkey Temple. My stay occurred during the Holi festival. Rabina and her family gathered all the guests on the rooftop for a morning celebration. We put colours on each other, danced, and enjoyed very tasty homemade food. It was my first Holi festival, and I felt very welcomed; from the beginning of the day, I was in a festive mood! Overall, it’s a beautiful place where I felt welcomed by a very warm and helpful family, and I felt right at home :)

I had the rooftop room which has a spectacular view. The building is a 10 min walk from Thamel, the only disadvantage is that the road is not paved so during monsoon it is extremely muddy all the time. Rabina and her family are very friendly and helpful people. The place is highly recommended.

This was a great experience considering the price and the usually not so brilliant conditions of homestays all across Varanasi. Also, the caretaker was very humble and made sure that we had a comfortable stay.

We had a lovely time at Trekkies Guest House. Badhra and his family are super nice and welcoming. Also the house with its several terraces (including roof!) gave us the great opportunity to enjoy the view over the city with a nice cup of tea or coffee. We slept really well in the beds, the bathroom was very clean and the size of the rooms were absolutely sufficient. Great is also the location. The lake is reachable by foot in 10 min and there are cafes and shops very near, however the guesthouse is in a more quiet street which is ideal for a good sleep! We also went on an amazing 4 days trek with Badhra to Poonhill. He is a great guide who shares his extensive experience about the Himalaya. The trek was organized really fast by him as we did not book anything in advance. Also he is not bound to an agency which gave us a very individual trip. It was a very lucky pick to stay with Badhra and we do hope to come back for more trekking and staying in the guest house.

Great place to stay if you want to stay in city and well connected to market as well ll the surrounding places. it's a hostel setting in center of the city and great cafe service. host was polite and friendly. overall I will recommend this place to stay if you are in rishikesh.
