Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Galveston Bay

I honestly can not give enough stars! Stacy was so great the house was amazing! She was very accommodating with my pups! Honestly the only place I will stay if I come back to Huston! Great location close to food and the Bay Area! Got to the Astro game with no problem! I loved it there!

Very nice place a little confusing to get to but once you’ve gone it’s easier to get by. It was a little sketchy neighborhood wise just because the people around would stare at you and whatever you did and sometimes park on the front side of the house next to the driveway. Didn’t bother us other than that though. The place inside was great had many amenities and supplies and Karen was very responsive! Cool stay for a few days !

Dawn’s place is so beautiful, charming, and clean! We planned a last minute staycation for Father’s Day and we could not get over how cute the home was. There was so much thoughtful attention to detail! It was very clean and looked exactly like the photos, lots of natural light, all of the amenities you could need, and the space just has so much character. While we really wanted to stay on the beach, it was close enough, and because it was such a beautiful space we were more than happy we chose to stay there and will definitely stay again! I loved the open kitchen/living space. It was perfect for cooking, listening to music, playing card games, and enjoying family time. Overall, everything was wonderful and Dawn is a great host. The only thing that should be noted, and this is nothing to do with Dawn’s place, there is a rooster in the back neighbors yard that crows non-stop! Be prepared to play some white noise or wear earplugs to drown it out if you’re a light sleeper!

Great and relaxing place to stay! Very peaceful and beautiful view lakeside. The host made every step of the process super easy and convenient. Place was extremely tidy and comfortable. Host was readily available and helpful!

This was the second Michael and Ashley Air B&B I’ve stayed in. Love the decor and historic vibe! Beautiful hardwood floors, kitchen decor, and location! We will be watching the Save Galveston website for future listings!

Close to where we needed to be! Great communication and very responsive. Place had extra care stuff which made it more like home. We had a great time there!

We had the best time and definitely will be back. The location was perfect, both the house as far as the views go and also location to town and stores/shops. The downstairs hang out area with gaming area was definitely a hit with our kids, perfect for afternoons after we hit the beach in the morning. The calm, sleek and comfortable aesthetics of the home were ideal, and loved the bunk room. The host truly thought of everything , there wasn’t one thing we needed or missing.

This place is awesome. It had everything we needed for the weekend. Great location right in the Strand. The building is historic and we loved the history of it. Michael is a great host. We would definitely stay here again.

The wife and I really enjoyed our stay in the historic part of Galveston. We were able to walk downtown and explore some beautiful homes and shops only 5 min away (depending on how far you went) lol. We will definitely recommend this spot and area for friends to stay. Thank you again for giving us a clean , quite beautiful place to lay our heads!

Michael's place was absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough great things about the place. It was just as described. The views are amazing and it's within walking distance of a lot of places. I will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely a gem!!!!! LOCATION!!!LOCATION!!! LOCATION!!! The Zen Den was so adorable, perfect for a couples getaway. Very well put together and the aesthetic was just fabulous. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable, relaxing, central location place. The Zen Den it is. You will not regret your stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved that we were less than 10min to everything. Especially a skip and hop away from one of our favorite, Gaido's restaurant. Definitely will book again. Great spot near the beach! Perfect for our small family. Loved that we had access to beach chairs & beach toys. Pool area was awesome and it was nice to walk right out from the condo to the pool. Fun themed condo which was very clean and inviting. Great host! Thanks again!

The condo was great - I only needed one night for meeting up with family, not all places will accommodate that in peak season so I really appreciated it. Everything was exceptionally clean, the view was amazing and the property is great. I would definitely recommend for a couple or small family getaway.

Walking distance to the beach! Across the street are Seawall stairs. Everything was so clean and well stocked. The ac felt great after a long day swimming. Very responsive and helpful! Would love to come back!

Loved our stay . Great condo on the second floor. Easy check in and out. Gregory checked in on us every day to make sure everything was as we needed. All amenities at the condo available for stay. While a bit isolated from the rest of Galveston it’s what makes this location quiet and peaceful. The pool and lazy river are amazing. Property has on site lift for the pool which made our stay even more pleasant . The bar was open which was also a treat . Didn’t get to experience the on site spa . Seawall Cafe and Sea Horse Grill are hidden gems. We loved our stay and would definitely return

My partner and I stayed at Julius’s apartment for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! It was a great location, pleasant interior, and well stocked kitchen. We felt very comfortable the whole time. We had a few questions for Julius over the course of our stay and not only was he very responsive, but we later realized all the information we needed was already in the guest binder in the kitchen. I will be recommending this place to friends and family, and hoping to return myself :)
