Family-friendly holiday rentals in Galgamarken-Trossö

Ingrid was an excellent host and the property was lovely! She left lots of useful supplies for us to use during our stay, clear instructions and great local recommendations. Would highly recommend Ingrid and her property, particularly as a base for Ironman competitors.

A wonderful historic Småland house. Much of it in its original state, which gives the house a lot of charm. We gladly accepted that, for example, some room doors can only be closed with a hook, in favor of the historical atmosphere. The property is fantastic - with an open and covered terrace, a large lawn, a private sports field... The location on the edge of the Åsnen National Park is beautiful.

Cozy place in a great location and pretty area. We also loved the sauna. Most recommended! :)

We had a perfect stay at Malin’s beautiful home. It had everything we needed and was in a super location close enough to walk into the city and all its attractions. Thank you Malin and family for making our introduction to Kalmar so memorable.

An absolutely amazing unique place. Really nice to cook in the kitchen. Sublime views at all hours. The spa turned into a “conversation bath” for all 5 of us Good hiking opportunities and remember to prioritize “Axel” - the boat that sails to Karlskrona, among other things. Marie is a really sweet host. We would love to come again: -)

Our long stay at Tobias's went very well, we were warmly welcomed and helped throughout the rental period, Tobias is an exemplary host! The house is spacious, very well equipped, with a very nice terrace and pool when the weather is nice. It was a pleasure staying in the house for several weeks, thank you very much.

We wanted peace and quiet in the middle of nature and got what we wanted! Wonderful location with a lake view but still not far from Tingsryd where you can buy most things at phenomenal Börjes :) The house has all sorts of amenities both inside and outside so we could cozy up, barbecue, play board games and just swim the sauna and hot tub, even under the stars! Pascale and Steve kindly explained how everything worked and gave tips about both one and the other. The excursions to Åsnen, the car cemetery in Ryd and Stenfors use were very much appreciated by our small children (4 and 10 years old). That we got to see moose, deer, fallow deer, hare and cranes was a plus :) We are more than happy to return!

We really enjoyed the time! The cabin is cozy and the view of the orchard is beautiful. At night it is absolutely quiet on the island and also during the day was not much going on - overall a great place to relax! The small supermarket in Torhamn had everything we needed and the crossing by ferry was straightforward (runs very often and is free). Check-in and check-out were very straightforward.

We had 2 wonderful days in a beautiful environment and an incredible calm. The cottage is fresh and has everything one needs. The location is incredible! Just open the door and the sea is outside. Will definitely come back!

We are very happy with our 2 night stay near camping and harbor in beautiful Bergkvara. Our little cottage in the family's garden was cozy and had everything you can wish for from different times. Nice and nice with a fireplace, terrace and the tranquility we wanted. Our host couple were nice and had Easter decorated for us. Not unbelievable that we will be back. And both we and our little dog liked that the chickens had their yard behind the cabin. Thanks for the great days🙏

The cottage was Beautiful and the surrounding was calm and Perfect. The Host send us every Information needed before we arrived. The nature close By (at the back of the Garden) was Perfect for a Long Walk with out dog.

A real gem in an idyllic place, had nice days with children and grandma, beautiful nature and nice swimming area close by!

Fantastically cozy little cottage, right out to a river and with good places to sit down and enjoy nature. I was at Sweden Rock festival for the first time, but definitely not the last, Eva was very helpful with information about parking, shopping and attractions. The place is a little hidden away, so it is incredibly quiet, it has only been a bonus after a whole day of heavy metal :) I have only the warmest recommendations for the home and the hostess :)

We had a lovely weekend. As the weather was nice, we mainly enjoyed the beautiful garden. My daughter loved the trampoline, the cabin... We were also able to go on a family canoe trip. Our host was very kind and we enjoyed being able to chat with him. We would definitely recommend this place.

What a wonderful place. There was delicious homemade bread and jam, excellent recommendations and a beautifully responsive host.

Cozy and nicely decorated, and plenty of space on the lawn around the house.

We had a very nice accommodation during our stay. The house was just the right size and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed to be able to cook on site. It was especially appreciated that there was both a washing machine and a tumble dryer - very practical during a longer stay. The location by the sea was a big plus and the view from the roof terrace was fantastic – a perfect place to end the day with a drink. Highly recommended!

Soheil is a super friendly and attentive host. The apartment is small, but everything is available and the landlord is always available if you need anything else. The location is just great, so close to the water. The city center is within walking distance. Soheil also takes care of bicycles or lends a SUP board if needed.

100% Sweden! We had 4 great nights at Maria's guest cabin. (which is much bigger in real than it looks in the photos) It started with the personal key handover after which you felt directly welcome and very comfortable. As already mentioned, the cabin is exactly how you imagined a typical, red, quaint wooden cabin and that also in a very beautiful rural environment with cats in need of cuddles:-). The cottage is right in the garden next to Maria's beautiful house and yet you feel total privacy. Small touches like fresh flowers on the table or Pipi Longstocking books gave the whole that certain something. A highlight for us was the heating of the wood stove and the private sauna in which we spent a lot of time. :-) When the wood went out and we asked Maria where we could get something new, Maria immediately took care of it and there was already new wood in front of the door. We highly recommend Maria and her husband as hosts!
