Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gabriola Island

We had a wonderful stay! We loved that there are trails accessible by foot from the cabin. (Just walk up the gravel road about 3 minutes.) We discovered that a great morning routine for us was to have coffee, walk through the forest, enjoy the morning light on the ocean, and head back to the cabin for breakfast. Peaceful and relaxing :) Henny is a great host. She shared a ton of wonderful information about places to go and yummy restaurants on the island. The cabin itself is cozy, charming, and quiet. The bed is comfortable, a high priority for me! We also appreciated that we could bring our dog and that she could be off-leash in the grassy area around the cabin.

Ingrid’s home is incredible and was an amazing place to stay for our wedding weekend. The home is beautiful and Ingrid left thoughtful touches around for us. Communication was excellent and we had everything we needed. Exceptional host and exceptional property.

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

We loved staying at Dyan’s comfortable, welcoming space. Ideally placed for exploring Gibsons, it was the perfect place to come home to with comfy and relaxing spaces inside and out. The little touches like flowers on the table and home grown lettuce made it even more special. Would highly recommend

A very comfortable homely place - “secret walk” down to the nearby beach involving a bit of scrambling which our little grandsons loved - a real getaway- house had everything we needed plus fire pit and bbq - a place you’ll want to return to and we hope we will

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

Fantastic time here! Private getaway cabin with a unique outdoor sauna made this place extra special. Comfortable beds, and great space. We plan to come again :)

This is a true gem and an amazing space to stay in while visiting the West Coast and would stay here again over and over. The outdoor space was well designed for privacy and feels like you’re on your own in the great outdoors to enjoy a campfire and the beautiful outdoor tub was spectacular and such a treat. We loved all the extra amenities and the space was very well designed indoors and felt like home.

A wonderful stay that truly felt like home. Very relaxing, convenient, welcoming and comfortable—would definitely return!

The only complaint I have is the bed in the bedroom. Could not sleep on it very squeaky, wiggly, mattress very lumpy.. needs a foam mattress and new frame. It was so uncomfortable. Thank god the couch was comfortable. Hopefully he will replace the bed by the next time I stay.

Everything is as expected. I appreciated the location - close to the T&T Supermarket, Sky Train, bus, and walking distance to many attractions. Clean and comes with everything you need. Nice views.

It was the perfect getaway for my husband, son, and me. Spent many hours in the hot tub and pool looking out over the lake. Just what we needed to reconnect and recharge! Jamie was a very gracious host.

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

Great little get away. Pool was awesome, hot tub was great. Great fenced front yard for the dogs. Back yard was quite big to be able to play with the kids. Very clean and tones of room. Ryan was great to deal with. Will definitely rent again on our next trip down. Thank you

Enjoyed the privacy of the unit and the beauty of Pacific Shores Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and pots and pans. Heidi communicated well with good information.

We loved staying at Deanna’s. The resort was excellent and the kids had a blast. Lots of games in the unit, kitchen was well equipped for 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. Beach was great and when it rained, the heated indoor pool and games room was amazing!

This place had it all: beautiful scenery, great amenities, clear instructions, and a short drive to dozens of amazing locations in the area. It was the perfect and peaceful place to unwind after a busy week, and we’d love to come back again some day!

Andrei was very responsive throughout the process. The listing looks exactly like the Airbnb and it was very cozy. Location was also very ideal and peaceful. We woke up to a deer nibbling on the bushes outside the house which was amazing. The only downside is that we wished the place had black out curtains as the brightness of the morning sun woke us up pretty early.

Had a wonderful time here! It is so peaceful and beautiful. We loved the getting to use the hot tub and kayaks. It's also very pet friendly. There are a lot of stairs per other reviews, and I would suggest packing light, but we will absolutely be back! Ashley was a great host!

We really enjoyed our time at Trish’s place! It was very clean, had a beautiful view, and all the animals were so adorable. Trish and Nick were also wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend!

Two words gorgeous views!!! Looked forward to having my cup of coffee on Kelley & Kent’s patio every morning. A very peaceful location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ganges, but still less than five minute trip into town. Both Kelley & Kent were very welcoming and accommodating to our early check in. Their air bnb had all the amenities you could need to make you feel right at home. Beds were super comfy! I would HIGHLY recommend booking this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed! :) Enjoy!

We had an INCREDIBLE stay!!! 6 of us fit very comfortably in this place – the house is absolutely gorgeous with everything you could possibly need. Quick drive to town but quiet and gorgeous surroundings. Hosts were responsive and the utmost friendly – thanks for a wonderful stay!

Bree’s place was the perfect place to spend the last 2 nights of our trip. Peaceful and private yet beaches and trails were close and easy to get to. The huge tub was amazing and the provided robes were a great touch. The supplies exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come back.

Lisa’s cottage was just beautiful. Lisa had thought of everything and has really made sure that the cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a great stay.
