Great modern house with all the comforts. It seemed difficult to find in advance, but was very easy to find afterwards. Pool not used (too cold). The host had prepared delicious breakfast and dinner (for a fee). The horses in the meadow around the house as well as the tranquility and the view the valley in amazing. Everything fenced for the dog. Sitting outside under the canopy with a blanket with welcome drink and snack :D We have plans to go in November instead of 2 nights, a week...

What a wonderful vacation we had here. Very friendly and accessible hostess. Great fun cottage. Crystal clear swimming pool. And what a view!!!! Paradise on earth. And not to forget the peace, the birds and our big little friend Lucky the funny sweet🐶. Many nice bastide towns nearby and amazing views. A place to return.

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

Wow! What a stunning property! The pictures don’t do it justice, we stayed as a group of 7 and it was beyond perfect. Every bedroom had its own bathroom so it was very private on an evening and then downstairs was huge and open plan so was wonderful to share meals and socialise together. The pool and outdoor area was extremely private too. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return.

I really can’t recommend Philippe and Alain’s place enough and our stay was delightful from start to finish. Not only is the property set in beautiful surroundings but the accommodation itself is lovely; full of character and is charming and spacious for a couple. The hosts themselves are also delightful. Philippe was exceptionally helpful throughout the process and extremely responsive, answering our questions and helping us when we were looking to book a local taxi at short notice. He made the effort to meet us when we arrived and spoke to us regularly during our stay; always kind, polite and friendly. Thank you for a fantastic stay guys!

We are so glad we chose to stay at David's place! The location in the village of Albas is beautiful & everything was clean and very comfortable. We also appreciated being able to sit in the garden. It was hot while we were there (34 degrees) but we were very comfortable because it is well-insulated and has shutters and aircon. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

It was a beautiful place to stay. The beds were good and everything you needed for the stay was there. The bathroom needs an update but the shower was good. The garden and pool were phantastic. The big fridge was a plus. We had a wonderful stay.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Charming cottage on the edge of the Périgord Noir. The pool is very nice when it's very hot. We had great recommendations and a great welcome.

We had a great weekend at Margaux's place. The accommodation is perfectly in line with the photos: clean, well maintained and very pleasant to stay in. The spa, as well as the charming cabin that houses it, is of high quality and invites you to relax. The garden, nicely landscaped and neat, is a real little haven of peace... and what a pleasure to see the little chickens frolic there freely! Margaux and her spouse are caring hosts, responsive and available. Communication was smooth from start to finish. The bed is very comfortable and the master suite is simply superb. Small downside: the proximity to a road brings a little noise, but it does not spoil the experience, as the place is pleasant. We'll be happy to go back! We had an absolutely lovely stay at Marine and Christian's. The grounds are beautiful, with a secluded pool and animals everywhere. We had everything we needed in the house and really appreciated the extra touches - hot tub, on-site massages and horse riding. Christian and Marine were warm and incredibly accommodating. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Benoit's, who was very welcoming and very responsive to our requests. The accommodation is large, very well equipped, and very pleasant. Whether inside or outside, everything is impeccable. We particularly enjoyed the air conditioning in the house and the pool, with this heatwave weekend. Thanks again to Benoit for hosting us. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Small restored house, with small living room, and three beautiful bedrooms, in a nice environment with a pleasant pool during high heat. Very friendly welcome from Rebecca, active and very discreet professional owners.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

We had a fantastic time in this spacious and cozy farmhouse. A great location, wonderfully quiet and beautifully situated. Enjoy the birds and butterflies in the large garden. Really an ideal place to relax and unwind. We were warmly welcomed by Anne, a very nice and friendly hostess. You feel more than welcome here. If it is up to us, we would like to come back.

An idyllic experience Our stay at Saint-Étienne was nothing short of fantastic. The house we stayed in was beautifully situated in a quiet, rural setting. The accommodation was immaculately clean and well maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The communication with the owner, Natasja, was excellent. She is very helpful and responsive from the initial contact to our departure. She gave clear instructions on how to reach the house and how to use everything. Natasja was always available for questions or extra support, which made us feel very welcome during our stay. In short, our experience in Saint-Étienne Villereal was fantastic.

This is probably the best Airbnb property we have ever stayed in. It is in a peaceful location, set in very well maintained gardens, and with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, particularly from the outdoor dining terrace and the swimming pool. Tastefully renovated, it is also decorated, furnished and equipped to a very high standard, and the leisure and games facilities (swimming, table tennis, snooker, table football, boules) are exceptional. The Lot and Aveyron valleys, with their spectacular gorges and picturesque hilltop towns and villages, are as scenic as the Dordogne but much quieter and less frequented, and we spent three happy days exploring the area. The hosts, Fanny and her mother Marie, are extremely friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We would love to return to the property in the future.
