It is about a 2-minute drive from Shintomei, Shimada Kanaya Interchange. The view of the Oi River from the tea field of the inn and the surrounding area is worth a visit. You can also check out the great location and the SL of the Oigawa Railway and the locomotive Thomas. We'd love to have you here!If you use the Oigawa Railway SL or the locomotive Thomas, you will need to make a reservation.You can see locomotives at Shinkanaya Station. The direction of Okudai (dream fishing bridge, Lake station, etc.), Shizunami Coast, and Omaezaki are about an hour's drive away.Kawane Onsen, which is about a 30-minute drive away, boasts good quality hot water. It takes about 2 hours to get to Mt. Fuji using Shin-Tomei. This is a private rental inn in a 130-year-old house that the host renovated himself. In the house, there are thick beams that give a sense of history, a view that seems to go on forever, a traditional Japanese sunken hearth that feels nostalgic, a warm wood stove, and a Goemon bath outside. We hope you can feel the essence of living in the countryside while experiencing the slow flow of time in the countryside. For meals, you can bring in ingredients and cook them in the kitchen, which has an IH heater, fridge, microwave, and toaster, or you can grill the ingredients on the lava plate or in the Irori pot on the Irori fireplace. We had a brief but very relaxing and peaceful stay here. Jun and Kimi are lovely people and the whole place has their kind and warm energy within it. Jun has some fascinating historical facts to share on the area if you are interested, and Kimi makes stunning crystal jewellery. Highlights were their delicious food, the gentle ambient music playing, the beautiful view to the lake from the dining room, the private bath with pure spring water from nearby and the comfy pillows. Only downside was that the mattresses were a little on the thin side for us but I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you both for a very memorable stay.

Michi's accommodation is very nice, located in the heart of rice fields and tea fields. It was very nice to be away from the city and in a quiet place. The train station is a 20-minute walk, but Michi came to pick me up by car at the train station and even dropped me off when I left. He's very thoughtful. Thank you Michi for this stay.

Ryo was a great host, he picked us up at the bus station when we arrived and escorted us back for our departure. The accommodation is very functional and very clean (and equipped with air conditioning!). We were afraid of sleeping badly with the futons but not at all! They were very comfortable and the bedding was very soft. The accommodation is also well located, close to bus and train stations, an onsen, and several restaurants and supermarkets. We highly recommend this listing!

I only stayed one night and was agreeably surprised by how beautiful the place was. I had booked a dormitory bed and it was very specious. Since Onsen was a new thing for me, I only tried the indoor Onsen and loved the experience. The check-in and check-out staffs both were really nice and helped me carry my big luggage up to the stairs. I had a nice stay and would definitely come back another time and also stay longer this time. Thank you.
