The house is exactly as described. The most beautiful views we have ever had at a rental. Bald eagles flew right past us. We had an issue with the fire alarm and Sylvia quickly sent a maintenance person to fix the issue. The only downside was the bedroom upstairs with the skylight was very bright, but waking up to the sound of waves outside more than made up for that. highly recommend.

Tiffany was a wonderful host. Her home was clean, peaceful, and the trees were filled with songbirds. There was even a family of deer that stopped by daily. Great private location. We would love to stay here again.

I was traveling with 3 kids (pre teen and teens). We all loved our stay! There was so much to do and absolutely everything we needed for anything we could think of doing. We enjoyed ping pong, biking, s’more’s, kayaking, games, cooking meals, watching wildlife (seals, a huge sea lion, weasel, bald eagles), and hanging out with a friendly black cat that visited. I cooked a couple meals and had everything I needed for cooking and storage. The view was amazing and north-facing which made me upset that I missed the strong auroras by 1 day :( I wish we could have stayed longer!

The kitchen could have had a few more basics in it, like tea bags, spices, napkins. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The views are fantastic both in the evening and the morning. Being high up on the cliff gave us plenty of fresh air and beautiful views of the ocean. Just watch your step at the edge of the cliff!

Priceless views and amazing architecture are showpieces of this magnificent home that combines coziness, elegance, comfort and rustic charm. We’ve stayed at many airbnbs, but this one is a new favorite. It’s an ideal getaway for the whole family; plus it’s close to interesting hikes and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for eating at home. We didn’t enjoy the taste of the well water, but bought drinking water at Tru Value. Carley was very responsive and helpful throughout. We would love to come back in the summer.

Great place to stay in the middle of the village. Convenient walk for groceries and restaurants. Very quiet at night. Well lit loft with skylight for star gazing. Linnea was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed for our week-long stay.

Our trip strated with message from the host that the house was ready and we could check-in at any time. When does that ever happen??!!! Words can't accurately describe how breath-taking this property is. On a bluff over-looking the sea surrounded by forest. The backyard was great for a dog to run in gaze at the stars at night with a camp-fire going. The house was comfy and the kitchen was stocked with anything you might need to cook a nice meal. Perfect kitchen table for puzzling. My mom, her dog and I were so comfortable and will be back. You won't be sorry about booking this spot.

Beautiful, peaceful spot-loved seeing the deer throughout the day. The location was wonderful-away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to drive in for groceries or to a restaurant. More importantly-a great home base while visiting Olympic National Park. Comfortable stay for sure!

This was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we’ve stayed via Airbnb. The home is beautifully provisioned and the yard is fantastic. We loved sitting out back listening to the bubbling water and birds singing. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely choose again and highly recommend.

Emma's place was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us - including our 2 big dogs! The decor is lovely, just like the pictures, but free from clutter, which I appreciated. The kitchen had every item we needed to make our meals. The sauna and cold soak tub were a very appreciated bonus! The neighborhood is very peaceful, and felt safe for walking our dogs. Most importantly was how kind, gracious, and communicative Emma was. She allowed us to check in early, which helped us immensely, and answered any questions we had quickly. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

We had a wonderful stay. Billie was friendly and approachable, and so wonderful. We enjoy the clean and comfortable place, and swimming pool. The place was very close from the main shopping/restaurants area and it made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for everything Billie!

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

We loved this place and the views it provided and we were able to walk to the beach every night. It is close to town and we loved the downtown area also.

The only complaint I have is the bed in the bedroom. Could not sleep on it very squeaky, wiggly, mattress very lumpy.. needs a foam mattress and new frame. It was so uncomfortable. Thank god the couch was comfortable. Hopefully he will replace the bed by the next time I stay.

We loved staying at this little cottage! The environment was so tranquil and the spa was even better than the pictures! The sound of the rain falling and the smell of the cedar where an added bonus while enjoying this space. We also loved the Cobble Hill hike nearby and exploring the various bays and inlets in the area. This was the perfect space for our little getaway! We definitely recommend if you're looking for a relaxing space off the beaten path.

Beautiful property and views! The wall of windows looking out over the ocean and distant islands is just incredible. Gorgeous outdoor space to overlook it all with a beer. 2 small bedrooms, just enough space for 2 adult couples as long as you're not travelling with lots of luggage. Amazingly well equipped private gym with wifi speakers and infrared sauna (although didn't use this more than once as takes a long time to heat up). Very small shower, but not really an issue. Plus bathtub if you prefer. We appreciated the fresh eggs and coffee, and visiting the chickens. Good location for peace and quiet (bring earplugs if roosters bother you, but we loved the wake up calls!). We'd love to come again - thanks Yashar.

We came for a weekend Renaissance Faire and while we very much enjoyed the Faire it was great to come back to a place where we could relax, be comfortable and enjoy the quiet of the countryside and the views. CarolLynn was very helpful whenever we had a question and showed us around her beautiful property. I will most definitely consider staying here again.

As others have said, the location in the heart of Eastsound cannot be beat and the view is spectacular. I could have sat on the balcony all weekend and watched the water. The loft was extremely clean and cozy, perfect for two.

The house is clean, pretty and comfortable and the hosts are very friendly and responsive when we had questions. We really appreciate their hospitality in lending us a car to get around the island when the ferry was out of service for the cars and only allowed for the passengers. We had amazing stay at Woodpecker!

we had a great time here. lots of amenities and things to do. would love to go back again.

My husband and I enjoyed our week stay at Brentwood Bay Boathouse. We loved watching for wildlife in the mornings and evenings. The place was secluded from the rest of the marina which made it special. We ate at the Brentwood Bay Pub and The Arbutus Room. Both were lovely. Also had dinner at The Seahorse Cafe on the first night they reopened for dinner since Covid. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's quaint, characterful, cozy cottage. The location, property, and home were charming, with lovely, mature landscaping, fields of grass, water view framed by trees, and a private little beach. The antique furniture, lace curtains, and multiple vases of fresh-picked flowers and greenery all added romantic touches. The master bed was very comfortable and Jennifer kindly customized the bedding to accommodate our feather allergy. Although the property is a compound with other cottages, the setting was extremely private both indoors and out, on account of the large lot, separate access, and screening of mature trees. The wi-fi was weak, so perhaps not the ideal location for working, but perfect for a romantic getaway!
