If you are looking for an amazing family retreat on the Eastern Coast then book this house now (if you can!). We cannot recommend it highly enough. We had brilliant communication and advice from Sally prior to arrival with lots of invaluable tips on making our stay better. The house is beautifully designed and immensely comfortable. I have never come across a better equipped kitchen in a B&B before. This is very clearly a family home and lots of love has gone into making it comfortable. Outside is truly special, with the most incredible ocean-front setting. The house is surrounded by the ocean on 3 sides, giving a constant backdrop of waves crashing on the shore. The ocean constantly changes colour mesmerically throughout the day, and is particularly spectacular at sunrise in front the house. The wildlife is amazing; wallabies, possums, eagles, swallows, plovers and cicadas. So much to see and do in the neighbourhood to fill your days - a week is not enough. Book it if you can!!

Great location with stunning views from the living/kitchen area! There are ceiling to floor windows in the living area so it gets warm during the day which was great for our winter stay. We saw dolphins swimming in the ocean one evening which was magical. The place itself is conveniently located close to Freycinet national park and Coles bay town centre. It is on the older side but has everything you need for a nice stay and was very clean. Overall great stay!

Thank you for hosting us. Very spacious cottage, kids loved the cottage and space around the cottage to ride their kick scooter. Reception staff and Rob are very responsive, attended to the bathroom door issue immediately. Eatery and bar in walking distance. Highly recommend Rob’s place! We will book in next time too when visiting the area.

Perched at the top of the hill with sweeping views of the valley and mountain tops, Valley Hearth is everything it promises. Beautifully built with interesting wood features throughout the house, its glass frontages and thick walls trap the heat so it felt balmy and comfortable the moment we stepped inside. The outdoor bath was divine and the wood-fired sauna was quirky and so easy to use. Sitting on the deck drinking in the views and listening to the birds and frogs could happily eat up hours of the day!

It's a lovely beach house in an amazingly beautiful location. So clean, comfortable and warm. Excellent in every way. I'm so grateful to have stayed there with my partner. The memories will last a lifetime.

Steve's place is the standout place to stay in Derby. Suitable for a family or group of friends and very conveniently located. Very well equipped for self-catering and also close to the trails, cafes, and pub.

Spent a wonderful long weekend at Jayne and Adam’s place celebrating significant milestone birthdays with 10 adults, 4 kids, a baby and two fur kids. The house is perfect for this size group, and we especially loved family games around the gigantic table. Way too many laughs were had whilst cooking in the excellent kitchen, and we are all keen to stay again! Thank you for hosting us!

This is a wonderful place for either a short stay or longer, including a secure dog area. Perfectly suited our needs. Geoff was approachable and accommodating The house was so easy to keep tidy, everything supplied including great clothes washing facilities and outdoor relaxation spaces. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Joe’s cozy and charming beach house! It was the perfect spot to unwind—relaxing by the fire and enjoying peaceful walks to and along the beach. The home was just as described: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Joe was a fantastic host with prompt and proactive communication. Highly recommend!

Thanks Michael and Debbie - this was our third or fourth stay at your fantastic house! It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen is great to cook in, the beds are comfortable, the BBQ works well, the living area is delightful and the beach is just a short stroll across the road. Highly recommended!

A lovely heritage cottage with all that we needed. Perfect for we four adults and one pooch. Secure yard. Plenty of parking. A short easy walk to cafes and other shops. Thanks Billie, you made it an easy place for us to stay and relax.

We loved our stay. The house was well appointed and comfortable, the outdoor living areas were spacious with multiple zones to spread out and enjoy, and the gardens created lots of privacy and a peaceful relaxing environment. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brooke's house, and hope to return sometime.

I would give six stars (if I could) for our stay at Jan's place. It is a nicely updated and well furnished house perched on a hill that affords a scenic view of Binalong bay. We found the unit to be very clean and well provisioned for a five day stay. From the house, a five minute walk will get you to Binalong Beach where one can swim in tranlucent turquois water and walk along long white sand beach. Ten minute drive from the house will get you to downtown St. Helenes where great coffeeshops and restaurants abounds. We ate at many of these eateries and all were good to excellent. A bit longer scenic drive , may be 20 min from the house, will get you to a beautiful and friendly winery where one can sample seven different types of high qauality wines at 15 AUD per person. If you feel like splurging, buy a bottle of 2016 Pinot Noir and drink this elegant wine on the deck while watching the waves landing on the beach. Book this place and collect wondeful memories.

We enjoyed our stay at Debbie's, the place was very tidy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed being able to walk to get coffee also had a nice stroll along the river. Would recommend to other guests :)

The house is lovely, very comfy, spotless, and well appointed. Plenty of parking and a great outdoor space. The hosts really appear to care about quality and they are very approachable and responsive. This was our second stay and it was as good as the first, and there is likely to be a third visit in the future!

We had only one night at the cottage but it was excellent. From being greeted by gentle Henry the sheepdog to Stephanie’s suggestion as soon as she knew we’d arrived to head straight down and catch the end of the sun setting on the sandstone bridge (what stunning colours and shadows!!!) it was a wonderful experience. The cottage is not a ‘heritage’ building but is quirky, homely, very well-equipped and comfortable with a large garden. It is located on one of the back streets so there’s no traffic and the occasional train at night was easily blocked out by earplugs and didn’t bother us in the slightest. Wish we’d been able to stay longer!

Binalong bay is such a beautiful area and this stay with the beach views elevated the experience. The house was clean and easy to find with clear instructions given. Would definitely recommend staying here and would come back again.

Susan is a very responsive host. We appreciated the little extras left for us and all the maritime paintings etc. The beds are very comfy with lots of warm blankets if needed. A classic beach shack plus!

Denise's place is located really near the restaurants and very walkable to the supermarket. Despite the short distance to the amenities, it still offers some peace and quiet. Denise has everything we needed, a working kitchen, clean toilet and a sofa bed that expands for 2 more pax. Thank you Denise!

Beautiful cottage, very comfortable and homely. The place was very clean. Check-in was easy and Wendi and Mike made themselves available if required. Would stay again
