Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in French Quarter, New Orleans

Good place to stay in New Orleans. Our first time in the city and it was great as apt was close to french quarter, around 6 min by car. Our stay was quiet and we had no problem with parking. The AC was a little noisy but we managed to sleep through it. Overall good stay an great deal.

All around 10/10! It was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and the charm and homely feeling of staying with a local family can’t be beat. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere but it was residential and close to local gems.

Beautiful active neighborhood with many places to eat and enjoy music. Walking distance to the sip river, Frenchman street, and bourbon street. Beautiful clean room and bathroom with access to balcony. Balcony is amazing for hanging out and watching neighborhood activity. Great stay and will stay again!

Absolutely loved Michelle and Bobs place! The place was very clean and their breakfast was delicious. Everything was within walking distance and they gave great recommendations for first timers. Loved our stay and will be back one day! Highly recommend!

Great host. Great Loacation. New Orleans through and through

Homey spot, has everything you need and walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Unit was a little dirty, small stains on the wall and I did see a roach on the side of the mattress, but bathroom was very clean, all the amenities worked well, and the balcony/common areas are certainly worth some of your time.

Lovely space and location. Perfectly tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, while also being easily accessible to the French Quarter and other attractions. A definite gem.

This is such a great place to stay! Awesome location with the trolley right out front. The apartment was really nice and perfect for 2 people who need separate sleeping spaces. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time during our stay here. We definitely took advantage of the pool and hot tub as much as we could. The bedrooms were nice and air conditioned. The linens/towels were clean. There were plenty of towels and toiletries available for use. Glen tidied up the rooms everyday. There were lots of snacks and drinks available. Glen also made amazing French breakfast. He was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Check in was flexible and he was able to accommodate all of our needs. The house is under construction on the first floor/outside, but there was no loud construction noises. We all slept like babies and really enjoyed our stay! We all would definitely book again.

Excellent spot close to the bars and restaurants I like. Kind and lovely people taking care of the space. Clean and comfy room. Yummy breakfast included. I also suggest taking advantage of the spa - was a wonderful start to vacation to have a deep tissue massage by their pro therapists.

The ambiance of this residence places a guest within the vitality of New Orleans, yet the copious spaciousness of rooms afford privacy; plus the porch accessible through the living area added spectacular vantage of the neighborhood. Glen was a master cook for breakfast, varied and deliciouos. He offered excellent advice about navigating to jazz, gardens, Jackson Square, etc. In addition, he took the time to speak of the history of his residence and the workings of the presentation of Mardi Gras floats. No better place or person as a base for New Orleans visit

Nice gem here. Beautiful place, yummy breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Easy access to public trans, okay public parking, 2 blocks from Cafe, walking distance to most things you'd like to check out in NOLA. Felt as safe as any other city (live and work in Chicago).

Beautifully restored mansion. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Easy to walk to all things French Quarter and Frenchman St.

We loved Laura’s B & B. Not only did we love their home, she and Elliott were fantastic hosts. We had a yummy Continental breakfast every morning waiting on us. She had the most fantastic croissants ever. They were such enjoyable people and I hope we have the opportunity to join them again. I highly highly recommend them if you plan on visiting that area. If and when I get to go back, I will definitely be staying with them.

We had a nice stay at this bnb in New Orleans! The room was clean, breakfast was delicious, and the hosts gave us a rundown of the surrounding area and some great recommendations. The location is a little outside the popular area of the French Quarter, but walkable to both the Quarter & Bywater neighborhoods and very close to Frenchman Street. We could hear a little street noise and other guests coming/going from our room, but not enough to keep us from sleeping. Would stay again!

Staying at Obeah Guest House wasn't just a stay, it was a very cool experience to be had. Lyle is not only a terrific host in terms of being helpful and kind and accommodating, but a really interesting person to get to know a bit. Not to mention an AMAZING cook; Lyle prepared a gourmet Louisiana-style breakfast for us guests every morning; something I didnt even know I'd missed when I'd come to New Orleans in the past. Breakfasting with the other guests onsite, who were also really interesting, really added to the experience of being in NOLA. Our trip was so much the better for having stayed at Lyle's. Thank you!!!

I traveled alone to visit family and I arrived very late. I was relieved that the arrival instructions were clear and everything was well marked and well lit. Hosts were unobtrusive. The red room is actually more spacious than the photos make it seem. I worked from the room and the WiFi was great. The whole house was very clean. And it’s a very cool vintage property, nicely decorated and great A/C. I didn’t cook at all, or use the 1st floor parlor but it was well furnished and the whole set up reminded me of a European guesthouse. I loved having my own bath even though it wasn’t en-suite. I appreciated that I was the only one using it. Highly recommend!

I came to New Orleans for some solo exploration and am so grateful I found Lyle’s place! He was like a 24/7 concierge, amazing chef, and made me feel like family, even beyond my stay!!! The space is beautiful, cozy, and stately! Bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are for the most part shared unless you have the suite. Got my daily dose of dopamine from Lyle’s sweet pups (labradoodles), too. The neighborhood is overflowing with charm, and I got the best recommendations from Lyle for local restaurants and music! Would 11/10 recommend and return! Thanks Lyle for your generosity!

Lyle was the best host! He made us feel right at home. He made us the most amazing breakfasts every day we were there. He offered up great recommendations for places to eat and listen to music. Places only the locals know about! The accommodations were comfortable and so much better than staying at a hotel. I’ll be staying at his beautiful house every time I come back.

I came for a special event and it was perfect. The room was so well designed and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared. The venue is beautiful and surprisingly peaceful. It is literally next to the train tracks which took me by surprise the first time the train passed and blew it's horn, but I loved watching it roll by! The pool is heated which was great for this abnormally chilly May weekend. Everyone was welcoming and kind.

Lyle is an incredible host who offers a personal, true bed-and-breakfast experience. His home-cooked breakfasts are delicious, and he was eager to help us make the most of our time in New Orleans with recommendations and advice. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, and we fell in love with the Bywater neighborhood. I would recommend this place to anyone!
