On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

Dette stedet er ett eventyr!! Bildene er flotte av stedet men de yter ikke rettferdighet til denne utrolige eiendommen. Huset er kjempestort, med ett flott uteområde som er delt opp med masse forskjellige turgrupper, det er ett nydelig bassengområde, og mange steder man kan slenge seg ned i skyggen. Det er ett stort utvalg av fugler over store deler av eiendommen, for oss fra Norge var det flere ukjente arter, og påfuglene ble veldig godt kjent med. Fem store flotte fugler gikk løs, og kom gjerne bortom hvis du hadde en brødbit og avse. Hundene var utrolig koselige, tre forskjellige men vennligheten selv alle sammen. To katter var det også, og utallige fugler i store bur, som man bare ser i dyrehager. Mannen i huset er kunstner og har satt sitt eiendommelige preg på både hus og hage, med sine finurlige kunst installasjoner, gjerne med dyr og fugler som tema. Anbefales altså sååå på det varmeste. Må oppleves for å forstå hvor unikt denne eiendommen er.

A nossa estadia na Casa Wine Press foi para lá de maravilhosa! A casa em si, é lindíssima, tal e qual como mostram as fotografias. A conjugação de pedra, madeira e uns toques modernos, fazem desta casa um sítio muito especial. A casa é bastante acolhedora, estava muito limpa e tinha todas as comodidades necessárias. A zona envolvente é bastante calma e com o rio por perto, podemos fazer belas caminhadas junto da natureza. Adorámos a localização, é excelente! A Márcia foi uma excelente anfitriã, sempre responsiva, muito simpática e atenciosa. Agradecemos à Márcia por nos ter proporcionado uma estadia maravilhosa em Amarante. Sem dúvida, havemos de voltar futuramente. Bem haja, Márcia 😊

Casa muy nueva no le falta detalle. Zona traquila.aparcamiento en la puerta. Pero lo mejor de la estancia fue la atención de la dueña, super amable y familiar desde el primer momento. Quedamos muy contentos y satisfechos con la estacia. seguro que volveremos.

We had a wonderful stay in Amarante, Portugal, thanks to the beautiful 3-bedroom property and the helpful co-host Marcia Meireles! The house was lovely, and we enjoyed our time exploring the area. There was a minor hiccup at the beginning of our stay regarding the lockbox and keys, but Marcia was quick to clarify and resolve the issue. We appreciated her responsiveness and kindness. One thing to note for future guests: the property can be a bit tricky to locate, and parking in the area can be challenging. If you're lucky enough to snag one of the 5 parking spots on the right-hand side of the street or above on the left-hand turn, you're all set! Otherwise, be prepared for a short walk. A nice touch that would have been lovely was to have some water bottles and/or a coffee bar set up with a welcome note, inviting guests to enjoy a hot or cold beverage upon arrival. We did notice that finding pods for the coffee machine took a bit of effort, but there’s a market close by to buy things

Minha estadia foi simplesmente incrível! O espaço estava impecavelmente limpo e muito bem decorado, exatamente como nas fotos. A localização era ótima, com fácil acesso a tudo que eu precisava. Sem dúvida, voltaria a me hospedar aqui e recomendo a todos!
