Fabulous stay in this very quaint village, truly a special find. we loved the beautiful decor in the house, everything was exceptional and beautiful and tasteful. Thanks to Madeleine for a warm welcome and great recommendations on the village eateries , Karoo Artist cafe was such a win for yummy lamb chops!!

Beautiful house with all that we needed and more!! Belinda was very helpful and friendly. The property is in great condition and has everything that we needed! Fireplaces were also very welcoming and gave a great feeling. The views are spectacular and we loved the stay!! Many thanks !!

What a beautiful and roamy home with all the necessary amenities to have a relaxed family weekend. The 5th room is an outside room and gave the young ones a bit of privacy from the "old people". We had a wonderful stay in a lovely peaceful neighborhood in a safe security estate, but with seamless access as arranged by the owner. There are plenty of bathrooms and enough room for all the guests to be comfortable and relaxed with absolute attention to detail in each space with all the luxuries you would need for a weekend of spoils away from home. We had a very special family breakfast and would count the days to visit this house at Vall Marina again in the summer to also fully enjoy the outside amenities in the warmer months.

We were a group of six and we really loved out stay at Vanessa’s place. Everything is clean. We loved the fireplace, warm duvets, underfloor heating, Nespresso machine, great view of the mountain, peaceful surroundings, being close to the conservancy for our morning hike, close to shops and restaurants but not so close that other people park in front of your house. Great restaurant recommendations. We ate at: Clarens Brewery Clementine’s O’s Coffee The Posthouse Restaurant Platform …and everyone agreed that no one had a dud meal. We bought permits for the conservancy and hiked the Spruit Walk and the Mountain Trail one morning. Stunning views. Do it! I can highly recommend Charlotte’s. Vanessa and Mike are great hosts too.

We had a wonderful stay at The Folly - love the house and the interior. It had everything that we needed and more, with a beautiful view! Sandy, our host was fantastic and super accommodating. We will definetly be back!

Zebra View lodge was very well designed and comfortably furnished. Cathkin Estate is a peaceful and private estate with an incredible view of the Drakensberg. Security at the gate were very friendly and helpful. Local amenities and the berg itself were all close. All in all, a wonderful long weekend with family that we hope to repeat.

Mercia was one of the most heartwarming hosts I have met! She announced to “spoil” us at breakfast and that’s what she did! Healthy and rich in a beautiful garden, Mountain Views from the bed and freshly baked cookies! Thank you so much for you hospitality, we will definetly visit again

Very nice place! Not at secluded as I had hoped as we could hear people all around us talking. But overall a beautiful and homie place to stay. Definitely would stay there again!

Our stay was fantastic. The BnB was comfy, quiet and clean, and close enough to the main street and to the square, within walking distance. The scenery is spectacular.

A very comfortable place to stop over on our way back to Joburg from the coast. Really appreciated the heating options (fireplace/aircon) on quite a freezing winter night in Bloem. Host is very friendly and we appreciated the nice welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at Conrad’s home in Cathkin Park. The house is beautifully appointed, with thoughtful touches throughout that made our stay extremely comfortable. From the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy living spaces and stunning views, everything was perfectly in place for a relaxing getaway. We loved staying at Noleens place. Noleen communicated well. She was very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. We really appreciated a late change in the number of guests for the last night of our stay. The house is great space for large groups and offers privacy, peace and quiet. The photos really dont do it justice. There arent many places in the area, but Noleen provided great recommendations for during our stay and gave advice about the roads before we arrived. The house is also equipped with everything you may need if you dont want to venture out. We really appreciated Martha, who lives on the property and is available for an additional fee to clean and service during the stay. We were a large group who cooked often, so it was really great to have assistance cleaning up the kitchen and we could focus on relaxing and taking a break!
