A true bed and breakfast in a sea of stale air bnbs! Sharon met me upon arrival and showed me to my private abode in the center of a working cherry (and other things!) farm. The fridge was stocked with eggs, milk, butter and bread, and there was a nespresso machine + a selection of teas. She also gave me a book of local wineries and their backgrounds which I greatly appreciated and used throughout my stay. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!

Stu’s guesthouse was a lovely getaway in New Zealand! Close to Queenstown, ZQN airport, and to many outdoor activities. Very peaceful and private, soft linens, and felt right at home. It’s clear that this is not a cookie cutter Airbnb, but a real guesthouse, and it shows in the fit and finish of the property, and Stu’s helpful and kind approach to hosting. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Really lovely house with a sweet little garden at the back. We were travelling with two small children and it was perfect. A lovely distance from the town and really nice walks nearby. The house was spotless and had super comfy beds and an amazing shower. We would definitely return. Thank you so much for having us!

This was a perfect stay, convenient right across the bus stop and Foursquare. I felt so at home and so welcome. Arrowtown is a real hidden gem and it was a manageable walking distance into town to explore further. Great suggestions in the compendium, comfortable and warm bed and the heat pump was a bonus, although I didn’t need it much with the lovely sunny few days. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

The landlord, Johnny, is a very sensible man. Perfect Farm, perfect animal! Everything is so perfect! Especially the puppy sparkle! We were expecting her every morning-the house was a little far from town, but it didn't hurt the experience, and at night there was a beautiful view of the stars from the courtyard. It was really an incomparable check-in! The landlord's family is also very warm and friendly. This is by far the best place we've ever lived and experienced!

Highly recommended. The hosts were incredible and very helpful. We travelled from Sydney with our 14 month old bub and we were able to check in 4 hours early to settle in. The place is beautiful, nice and tidy with great views. Definitely staying here again.

Suzanne’s property was the best decision we could have made for our trip. Gorgeous rustic design and a working ranch with deer stock nearby. Halfway between Queenstown and Glenorchy the location was perfect for a quiet retreat after a being out and about in town/nature. There are a few guest houses at the location and everyone was friendly and we had plenty of privacy while not being too isolated. Loved it and would stay again or recommend it to friends. If you want a sweet Homestay outside of Queenstown and with a magnificent view, this is your place. Well equipped and super comfy Bed. Can be a bit chilly in winter.

Don's place was perfect for a few night's stay. It is well furnished with everything we needed, such as a full kitchen and washing machine/dryer. We especially appreciated coming to a home that can be heated well during the cold winter. The place was located in a quiet neighbourhood that's only about 10 mins to town!

This place was very cozy and had the best landscapes! It had everything you could ever need. While staying here we experienced a power cut however Delane was very kind and accommodating to our needs! We will 100% be staying here next time we are in Queenstown.

Oh this stay was definitely the highlight of my trip. Laura's place is tiny but mighty! Check-in and out very easy, no fuss. The view's unreal, and even on a day when the weather wasn't cooperating, staying in gave so much rest and restore time. The location is perfect, not far from anything at all yet offering total quiet through the day & night. Place is super well-maintained. The electric blanket's a game changer! It's clear Laura put a lot of thoughts into making sure guests stay comfortably. I dream to be back already. Thank you very much for hosting, Laura!

We have stayed at Stephs place twice now and will definitely come back again! It’s located in the most perfect location, very quiet & extremely clean, we LOVED our stay here. Would highly recommend!

Simon's place was amazing!! The photos don't do it justice. When you walk in and see that view from the living room, it's like looking at a post card every day. We had everything we needed at the house and the grocery store was just a few minutes away. Loved having the Queenstown walking trail right out front of the house and the wonderful hot tub behind the house. We were able to relax in the hot tub after a day of hiking and see the beautiful lake, mountains and sunsets. We walked down to the Frankton Arm Tavern a couple of times for dinner and had a wonderful meal each time. Loved being close to Queenstown, restaurants, stores, trails, but also feeling like we were remote, in a quiet neighborhood. It is about 3 miles to Queenstown, and we could walk, but mostly drove. Biking would be a great option too since the trails are so convenient! Highly recommend Simon's place! We can't wait to come back and stay longer!

Everything was exceptional at Jaimee's: it is quiet, clean, modern (with a super-comfy bed!) and Jaimee is an excellent communicator. The unit is very well laid out and provides an ideal launching point for activities in the area. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of central Queenstown and the view was great. I don't hesitate to recomend Jaimee's place to others visiting Queenstown and the surrounding area.

We arrived at night so didn’t realise until the morning just how beautiful it was! The mountains all around are just breathtaking. The accommodation was immaculate, modern but homely and very comfortable. Close to Queenstown- shops/eateries with a car but far enough away to feel out of the hustle and bustle. Thank you for heating it up before we arrived! We loved everything about it and will recommend to others and would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Mei's place was great. Very comfortable and cosy and has everything you need, with a fully equipped kitchen. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 kids, and felt quite comfortable. The accommodation was exactly as shown and nice and clean. The wifi was good which was really helpful for work purposes. We also really enjoyed the fire pit. Would definitely recommend it.

Clean and modern - has everything you need! This has been our favorite place so far. The farmhouse is right next door if you don’t want to cook. Has a small kitchen and a washer and dryer. Great stop for the weekend adventurer.

Romy and Sean are with no doubt one of the best hosts we have dealt with. They always made sure we were comfortable and checking if we would need anything. The house is soooo beautiful and comfortable and only few minutes away from the town. We totally recommend this house. You won’t ever regret waking up to those mountains views. The Carriagehouse is a perfect spot to stay if you prefer to stay out of the downtown Queenstown bustle but still be close to all the local attractions. The house is spotless, well equipped and best of all has amazing views across the mountains. Walking paths around Jack's Point make for a relaxing way to take in the scenery.

Great location, easy straight forward check in with everything needed to be self sufficient and comfortable.

absolutely amazing stay at this airbnb! location was peaceful and serene, with amazing views. It’s also near the airport and relatively close to town if you’re driving. chin was incredibly kind and responsive throughout our trip. she gave clear instructions and even went the extra mile to personally wait for us on arrival and guide us on where to park. we were also given a detailed tour of the house, which we really appreciated. chin's home had everything you needed for a comfortable short stay. it's thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities. her house rules were completely reasonable, and some were even to help ensure we’d come back to a warm, cozy home during the winter. she manages everything on her own and she's not young, so we really hope that future guests will be kind and considerate towards her and her lovely home. we truly loved our experience and would absolutely stay here again with chin if we return! highly recommend!

Great place in a quiet & convenient location. Very neat and clean house, close to the airport & city. highly recommended to all. Charmila is an amazing host, we needed some food for our toddler and she was really helpful to lend us from her kitchen. thankyou so much

A delightful place in a gorgeous part of the country with lovely hosts . Everything top quality and comfortable with little extras like fruit ,fresh milk delicious homemade Musli , Vogel’s and homemade marmalade. Thanks guys We would definitely stay again.
