Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Fox Island

Really enjoyed our stay. Backyard view and hot tub were amazing !

We would definitely book press stay here again when in town pictures can hardly depict the place it’s like time traveling but my family and I loved it

The house is roomy and spacious. Lots of different places to gather and hang out. It's pretty remote, I would suggest bringing food on arrival as the closest store is 20 minute drive. You can't beat the views as it might be the most special part of the house. Perfect place to relax and recharge.

Of all of the AirBnB's we've stayed at... this one was right at the top for feeling soooo 'intentional.' So many little details were taken into account. The theming, the amenities, the area, it all 'made sense' together. And our host was very sweet! You can never over-communicate in these situations, and all of the detailed instructions were great. A lovely backyard lounge area was the cherry on top and we only wished we didn't get back so late that we could've enjoyed it more in the evening! ^_^ This is the kind of AirBnB you stay at where you can accidentally get spoiled, so when you go to the next one you're suddenly thinking, "Ah, it's a shame they don't have 'xyz' from the last place! Thanks again!

Stayed here for a hiking trip with friends and loved it! The house is cute, cozy, and perfectly located—secluded with beautiful water views, but still just 15-20 mins from Gig Harbor’s shops and restaurants. After long hikes, soaking in the hot tub was amazing. The host was also incredibly responsive and shared lots of helpful info. Only thing missing was a washer/dryer, but it wasn’t a big deal. Great stay overall.

Our stay at the Ostrich nest was great! Right on the water, with plenty of amenities and a fantastic outdoor space to take advantage of. We kayaked around the island in about 95 leisurely minutes using the provided kayaks and paddles. A/C was available but not needed - yet good to know it was there. The kitchen had everything you'd expect from a short term rental as well. All in all, it was a good weekend.

We had such a lovely stay here over the Easter weekend – it was everything we hoped for and more! The house is clean, beautifully kept, and the views? Absolutely breathtaking. It’s one of those rare places that feels even better in person than in the pictures. It had everything we could possibly need – and then some. The hosts were simply wonderful – super friendly, accommodating, and just really easy to talk to. They made the whole experience feel warm and personal, not distant or transactional in any way. They even let us check in early and check out late, which made a huge difference for us with kids. Our days were filled with beach walks, seafood harvesting adventures, backyard chill time, and gorgeous sunsets. It felt like a perfect little reset from our busy lives. We were also celebrating our daughter’s 4th birthday during the stay, and she had an absolute blast. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Dale & Carol.

This house is stunning and beautiful! What a gorgeous home with a fantastic view! It’s right on the beach with a stairwell to the sand. The owner is super nice and everything went smooth and perfect. This place will take your breath away - seriously! Thanks for a great stay!!

I booked Jeanna's place to spend some time with my son on his birthday and after graduation from college. He had just moved out of his college share so it was really really nice to spend a time together in a cozy home where all of our needs were met. We have a couple of lovely walks to the neighborhood looking at the gardens and felt very safe.

Great host and beautiful apartment. Sweet outdoor space. Very quiet and clean with everything we needed for a nice stay. The unit has quite a few stairs leading up to it and steps inside to be aware of for elderly or those with physical challenges. Great stay and I would stay here again for sure.

The apartment looks on onto the lake and it was very nice to sit out on the patio watching sea planes and boaters. The interior was comfortable, stylish, and very clean. I felt the mattress was quite comfortable. Easy parking right out front. While the apartment is on a busy road, it was not disruptive and it didn't bother us at all during the night. The communication was great and proactive. I would definitely stay here again!

Our family came to visit us in north Kitsap and we appreciated the clean and quiet accommodations between Kingston and Port Gamble. They enjoyed the nearby day trips to Point No Point lighthouse and beach, Port Gamble’s quaint downtown and White Horse Golf Course. The beach access was a plus, but the kayaks available were a little far from the beach - a series of steps, etc. so we passed on that. We were able to use the firewood that the host provided at the beach, so we were very happy with the experience we had. All-in-all, a lovely spot to stay!

Thomas's location was perfect for our weekend trip. The apartment was not just what we needed; it felt like a home away from home. It was cozy, and we felt comfortable. Thomas was a great host. He communicated that the apartment was ready for us when we arrived and that we could check in earlier than the usual check-in time. We did not meet the first day we arrived, but he came down to introduce himself the next morning, and we had a friendly chat to discuss our plans for our visit to the area. This location is ideal for anyone who plans to visit the city to attend any events held at T-Mobile Park or Lumen Field, as the routes to the area are simple and easy to get to. Plus, it is a good location to get to downtown Seattle or Bellevue, with easy access to major roadways. I will consider Thomas's location again for future travels to Seattle.

The apartment was super clean, really comfy, and had everything we needed. It felt cozy and relaxing — like a little home away from home.

This was my second time at the Woodsy Retreat and it was wonderful, again. Enjoyed a hike through the State Forest, the hot tub, and all the goodies and snacks! Perfect place to relax and get away from it all!

We hit the jackpot with this stay. My father in law was at UWMC and Debbie’s beautiful home was blocks away. We did not need to rent a car. Took the light rail from SeaTac to University station and walked to and from the hospital. Debbie was an excellent host. Very responsive to my communication and made us feel at home. The apartment is beautiful. Had all the amenities of home. I definitely recommend!

We stayed here for five nights for my boyfriend’s birthday. Such a beautiful area with fun things to do nearby. I would love to come back one day and enjoy some more campfires on the beach

I hesitate to reveal how great Carl's place is because I don't want it to become so popular that it becomes hard for me to book. The setting is spectacular. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans everything you need. There are also basic staples that renters can use. If you don't like to cook, a lakeside restaurant is a short walk from Carl's. The restaurant is currently open Wed- Sun. We went on a couple of short hikes that were close by. Millersylvania Park is about a 15 min. drive. We also enjoyed seeing the Monarch Butterfly Sculpture Garden. Lots of outdoor art and a fun area for kids (or adults) to play in. I had some questions for Carl and he always responded quickly and clearly. Carl and Sue make available everything that the renter might forget to bring: Toothbrushes, Q-tips, shampoo, etc. Did I mention the jar of chocolates? We are not fishing enthusiasts, but it looks like that could be fun. Carl also has kayaks & life vests.

We had a wonderful and peaceful vacation weekend in Allyn! Fang’s home was easy to get to and settle into. We loved watching the water and tides, and it was easy to walk to restaurant, coffee shops and more. We spent most of our days on day trips in the region (Staircase Ridge & Hama Hama Oysters, and the Tacoma Zoo). This was the perfect place to recharge. We also loved the kayaks and hot tub, and generally cozy space. Fang was proactive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay as well.

Our family stayed a week. We had a great time, the place is super comfortable and we felt right at home., we took advantage of the bbq grill, loved the deck, the hot tub and the view. We made day trips into the Olympic forest and other nearby hikes. Bainbridge was fun on a rainy morning. We’re already thinking about about next year.

The most picturesque vintage cabin that felt like we were living in a '50s postcard. So close to the community beach, which was typically empty and we had it all to ourselves!

The Hideaway was everything we hoped it would be and more. The hosts made sure the house was clean and inviting. They also provided so many unexpected and wonderful details…luxury bath products, a basket of snacks, a dog bed and toy for our pup…and they even setup the firewood in the main fire pit so we didn’t even have to struggle building our own fire! Plus! Don’t even get me started on the sauna…it was EVERYTHING. We have stayed at a good number of Air bnb places over the years and this was far and away our favorite place. It’s beautiful. Book it!

They provided all the necessary support in a very professional manner. The scenery by the lake near the cabin is absolutely beautiful. Whether you’re inside the house, out in the yard, or by the lake, you can easily find plenty of things to do and enjoy. It’s a pity I could only stay for one night this time. I’d love to come back and stay longer if I have the chance in the future.
