Holiday rentals in Fourtou

We really enjoyed our stay with Erick and Isabelle - they are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome, including organising a tasting of local Corbières wines, and a separate vinegar tasting. The house is beautiful, and very well equipped - for dinner, we could take our pick between bbqing outside on the terrace or cooking in the kitchen. For swimming, we were spoilt for choice, able to swim in the pool as well as in the river below the house. The countryside around the house is great for walks (and the nearby village is easily walkable), but it is quite remote, so a car is needed to get around, and to visit almost any of the nearby sights beyond the village. It was an amazing holiday, and having this great place to stay was a really important part of it!

Steven’s place was a perfect retreat in Rennes-les-Bains—quiet, right on the river, and very idyllic. It was easy to walk to the local hot springs or head out on stunning hikes. Across the street was a wonderful little coffee shop/convenience store/gift shop all in one, which made everything even more convenient. The place was clean, well-stocked, and had excellent Wi-Fi. I would stay here again anytime! Steven really makes an effort to ensure you have everything you need to feel comfortable during your stay.

Excellent stay in Rigarda from where we were able to explore the Eastern Pyrenees for a few days. A quiet and peaceful place where life is good, we were able to enjoy the terrace to read in the sun in front of a beautiful view of nature. Easy and efficient self check-in and check-out, everything you need in the accommodation, no complaints. Thank you Arnaud!

Our time with Christine and André was wonderful! The place is indescribable and the two of them totally touched us with their warm manner. Christine met us in the nearby town and we followed her by car. The route gives a taste of the great hikes that can be undertaken there. The road is not paved, but you can make good progress slowly. The hamlet in which the gîte is located is like a fairy tale. You have a private pergola with a wonderful view. In front of the entrance is a table where you can enjoy coffee and food in the morning sun. The apartment was the best equipped and stylishly furnished we have ever been in. Everything is sustainable and designed with so much love. Christine and André give you the feeling of total privacy and at the same time take you completely into their world. We were allowed to pet llamas and explore the hamlet and learn about the impressive history. It was unique!

A super peaceful weekend in a secluded corner of the Aude. Beautiful villages, beautiful hikes. A small village where it is good to connect and appreciate the human relationship and the nature that surrounds us. A great studio where it is peaceful to stop. Comfortable bedding. Everything is there to settle in. The heater near the bay window is too high. The small table outside is excellent for a small aperitif surrounded by mountains. Violette is very smiling, pleasant, and gives good advice. Thank you Violette for your smile and your welcome

It’s an excellent place to disconnect. The host was very supportive. When we arrive, we noticed that the grass was pretty high and these would’ve made it difficult for the children to play outside. As soon as we communicated this, the host sent a person to cut the grass right away . We really appreciated that. The house is the perfect place to disconnect, it is a little far from stores and restaurants so you need to stock up :) . We had a wonderful time .

We had an absolute fabulous stay. The apartment is stunning as is the view. Everywhere easily walkable to. Lots of little restaurants in the street a couple of minutes away. Also right at the foot of the castle to explore all the shops and restaurants in the castle area. Lesa was amazing, extremely helpful with recommendations of places to see and visit. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. She even sorted a pushchair out for us as ours got left behind. Extra clean towels throughout the week was a nice touch too. The pool was great for cooling off in the heat. We used the train to travel to toulouse and narbonne (approx 25 minute walk to the station) Lesa met us to let us in and show us the apartment and was very responsive to any questions we had. One of the nicest properties in the area ❤️
