The house is absolutely in line with the listing. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoker). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

Simply Perfect. The top, very well-equipped accommodation. Great for a big family. There were 6 of us, and it's one of our best Airbnb experiences.

Four idyllic days on this island that I love with all my heart, in Céline's house, perfect, quiet, close to everything (market, city center, slopes, beach) and with a peaceful charm. A truly wonderful break

This is a really lovely property in a great location. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. It was very hot during our stay so we were grateful for the air con - and the pool, which was lovely and clean and bigger than we had expected. Although the villa felt very private and the surroundings were peaceful, there was plenty to do nearby. The beach is beautiful, though if you want to swim you really need to go at high tide, otherwise you have to wade through the sand to reach the water. The train station is within walking distance and the train to La Rochelld took only 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend this property and would love to return one day

We had a lovely stay with friends and our babies! Lionel was very accommodating even organising an extra high chair for us. The house was lovely - we really enjoyed spending time there as a family. We used electric bikes to see more of the island but there is a town square and supermarket nearby.

Very happy with the apartment, especially the pool which was really good.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Very nice little home, very functional. Well located, everything is within walking distance. Garden with outdoor patio furniture to enjoy the beautiful weather. Estelle is very responsive, and very accommodating. Very nice experience, and we will rent this house again with pleasure!

We communicated easily with Anne-Marie before our arrival. The accommodation is at the foot of the beach, it's really convenient. We found all the necessary amenities for our baby. The city center is within walking distance and a small fairground is at the end of the beach.

The advantages of the accommodation: very well located, car easily parked in the adjacent street, single storey with private terrace, bedroom, equipped kitchen, clean, walk to the beach.

Heavenly place a few steps from the ocean! A peaceful haven in a small, very pleasant, functional, well-equipped house that stays cool in hot weather: a real joy! we had a very good stay with Framboise. the house is cosy and practical. it is just about 8 minutes by bike to Le Chateaux d'Oleron. bakery and supermarket are not far away. communication with Framboise was easy and quick.

Our stay went very well and the accommodation contributed greatly to it, its location, its brightness, its amenities. Thank you so much for the bikes too.

Nadine is a very nice, unobtrusive hostess. We were very satisfied with their house, adjacent to a small garden with terrace, on the other side of the house a green courtyard with a shady tree, suitable both as a parking space for the car and as a lounge area. St. Pierre with its beautiful market hall was very pleasant in the preseason, for strolling and shopping as well as with good gastronomy. We would love to come back and recommend the house!

Brilliant family holiday, accommodation was exactly as portrayed in the pictures and description. Marina who completes the check-in/checkout is great and very helpful. Will hopefully be back.

Beautiful place to stay to enjoy all the beauty of this area. Lovely evening walks down the coast right from your door step. Easy drive to the lovely town of Brouage and the isle de oleron. Ced is so easy to talk to and gave us lots of helpful advice on what to see in the area. His English is excellent and we appreciated his efforts to chat with us.( our French is so poor) His place is very well equipped and very clean. Do not hesitate to book!
