Beachfront holiday rentals in Fouras

Christina was a very welcoming host. She presented us very well the different activities available nearby and in La Rochelle. The place was very nice and functional. The only downside is the number of parking spaces, which is not sufficient for the entire residence, but there are plenty of parking spaces around.

We had a lovely stay at this rental! The accommodation is not only very good and impeccably clean, but it is also in a great location, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Everything has been thought out down to the last detail for our comfort: the bedding is of very good quality, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, and the little touches (cakes, tea, coffee) really made a difference. Colette and her husband are pleasant hosts and always available to answer our questions and give us valuable tips to take full advantage of the area. We recommend this place without a second thought and hope to have the opportunity to come back for a future stay. Thank you for everything, it was perfect!”

A really perfect place for a couple who like a quiet stay. Two smallish squares offer very good local facilities and restaurants, while Carrefour local is only a one minute walk away, next to a cycle hire shop and a Pharmacy. The larger towns - La Flotte, Le Bois and ST Martin are all easily reached by the wonderful cycle paths.

Everything went well compliant and I needed more time to leave because of a competition and Kevin was very accommodating again thank you. In addition, the location is great . Quiet little street but 100 m from the center and the beach

We had a wonderful weekend in this house that perfectly met our expectations. The place was warm, well-equipped and ideal for enjoying a relaxing time between moms. We had a great time at La Flotte. Beatrice is really very friendly with lots of good advice even though we knew the island very well. The pool is a real plus and the garden is very zen. We'll be happy to go back.

Our stay was very nice. We didn't have to take the car because many things could be done easily on foot (shopping, walks, going to the ocean...) Our host was very approachable and trusted us, which made relationships easy. The region is very beautiful and there are many places to discover.

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the island of Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental right next door, friendly). The little extra is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Very nice well-appointed studio with in particular the bathroom and toilet space arranged in a way that has privacy (quite rare in housing👍) the outdoor spaces are simply beautiful and I would say that I place the welcome among the best I have received... human, helpful, discreet and responsive at the same time... well done to both of you 🌞

The apartment is clean and functional, in a quiet residence a short walk to the beach and the market. There is all the necessary amenities as well as a parking space and the pool with plenty of deckchairs. We were greeted by Pascale who is very friendly and accommodating for check-in and checkout. It was a great stay.

What a great stay. Beautiful clean home with plenty of amenities. Everything at walking distance. Enjoyed with our children and grandchildren. The house is charming and modern, you really have everything you need for a lovely holiday. The neighborhood is quiet. The location is great, close to nice villages and towns to visit. We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the nearby beaches. The presence of the washing machine was greatly appreciated. You can go there without a second thought. That's great!☺️

We have been using Airbnb for a long time but this is amongst the best places we have stayed. The location is brilliant with a private beach..,,come on! Aurelie was brilliant with great advice on local sights and restaurants Would recommend Les Viviers exceptional food. We cannot wait to come back cannot recommend highly enough. Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

The house is conveniently located in Fouras, it is easy to park there. The city center is a 15 minute max walk. The house is very nice, the garden too. It has charm and character. Very bright. We enjoyed the large square dining room table and the layout of the bedrooms: a sleeping area and a room a little apart with a large bed in 160 + possibility of baby bed. Very pleasant baby cot + high chair if necessary. Stephanie the concierge is very responsive and friendly. The owner too. We recommend.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous views (even from the shower!), and delightful little private beach - where our kids enjoyed playing while we played boules on the lawn above. Lovely walk into the old port, either along the beach path, or inland along the beautiful grassy avenue. Great restaurants in the town, although we enjoyed most meals at home so we could make the most of the fantastic views. A wonderful stay!

We enjoyed a clean , pleasant and well-located accommodation facing the sea. We are 4 bikers who took advantage of sunny weather to visit the Ré & Oléron Islands and the surrounding area. To be done again because there are still many places to visit. Jack, Berni, Gael & Lolo
