Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fort York, Old Toronto

My husband, myself and our 2 little kids (2 year old and 11 month old) stayed at Angela's place for a week at the end of November. The townhome was in a great location with lots of little coffee shops and grocery stores nearby within walking distance. From the moment we made the booking, Angela was very responsive and helpful in making our stay comfortable. She provided baby gates for the stairs, a pack and play and a high chair for our little one which was so convenient as we were traveling from far! The home had everything we needed: from a great functioning kitchen with great amenities to high-end washer and dryer. Angela also addressed all questions and concerns very quickly and was responsive before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to explore Toronto but would prefer staying in a more peaceful, quiet area.

I spent two excellent weeks in Eliana's accommodation. It's in a great location, very close to a large park, lots of restaurants and even a good-sized supermarket. It was clean and had all the facilities I needed. On top of that, Eliana took care of my comfort during the first few days, even suggesting many restaurants in the area. She is responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The only negative point: the ceiling can be low depending on your height. I'd estimate that it's 1.90 metres at its highest and can sometimes drop to around 1.80 metres. But for people of that height, including me, I still think that the rental is well worth stooping just a little.

Ana is a great host and was caring and responsive. I stayed there a couple of months and felt at home. It was really great to have a private unit all to myself and for relatively reasonable price. The location is very convenient, with public transit, grocery stores, libraries, and lots of other stores very close by. The unit is quite spacious. The kitchen is probably more suitable for light cooking or heating of food, and there’s not a ton of refrigerator space. My only discomfort during my stay was that when the weather was very cold, the heat in the room was very warm, especially at night. But it made the laundry dry quickly, which was good. All in all, I’m glad I found this place and I really enjoyed my stay.

Patricia is a gem! And the space was so beautiful! I felt like I was living in a gorgeous antique shop for the weekend. The street noises were soothing and birds chirping. Breakfast was delicate and delicious every morning. It felt very private yet Patricia was always there if you needed something. I had a wonderful stay!

We were in Toronto for 4 nights … we enjoyed the beautiful condo and its view of the lake. It was clean and as depicted in the photos. Diana was responsive with any questions. Of note … the bed is VERY comfortable. We easily walked to restaurants and shops … easy access to Billy Bishop airport

communication with Sharon and Tanner was excellent and they were helpful with transport queries. Apartment was lovely, plenty of towels and was able to make a meal in kitchen. Near to CN Tower and harbour. Thank-you for a lovely stay and everyone enjoyed the coffee pods.

This was the most incredible Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! Super flexible check in and check out, so thoughtful with lots of snacks laid out and nespresso machine, soda stream, Amazon Alexa, Netflix etc access, washer dryer, beautiful balcony…the list goes on and on! All of these thoughtful touches made the place truly feel like home even if just for a couple of days. Could not recommend this place more!

Ishaan's place was amazing! It had everything you could ask for and was in a fantastic location! Getting in touch with Ishaan was super easy, and I would definitely stay there again.

Great place with a lot of toiletries! We felt right at home thanks to Leah. The apartment was squeaky clean and there were plenty of towels. There is StackMarkt nearby which has a lot of delicious restaurants.

Staying at Amir's was a real pleasure. We were there with 2 kids, and they had an amazing time! The condo has everything we needed: Netflix, Alexa, a pool, and even some games for the kids. It’s also perfectly located, making it easy to walk to all the main attractions. The condo was spotlessly clean, and we really appreciated that it was fully stocked with everything needed for cooking, just like at home. Amir is also incredibly responsive and truly cares about his guests.

I absolutely loved the apartment! It was clean, felt like home and really liked the paceful balcony. The place in the center and very close to everything, so it was perfect for my stay. Also, the communication was Amy was very fast and perfect. Will definetly come back!

Great stay in Toronto. The unit is walkable to restaurants and other attractions. PARKING!!! I loved being able to park my car and walk and not pay for valet parking. Instructions were incredibly detailed. Check in and check out were painless. The park outside was a huge hit with my daughter. Winston is quick to reply to questions. Top notch host all around. I’d look to rent this unit again, hands down. Thank you for the great experience!

We were happy to find this place available. A great location with lots of good restaurants nearby. The unit is more spacious than others we have stayed at in the area. Communication was amazing, which felt very supportive while travelling. These hosts are flexible and amenable. Recommend!

David's place was clean, well stocked and as described. He was very quick with communication. Had a brief hiccup accessing the check-in instructions but we got it resolved easily. We would definitely stay here again!

Javeria's place was right next to everywhere I wanted to visit in Toronto. The place was clean and well kept. Javeria communicated well in advance, explained all the local attractions like coffee places, grocers, places to visits etc. She made sure my stay was comfortable and responded quickly to my messages. During the stay, I enjoyed having breakfast at Parisco Cafe just outside the nearby building, visiting Coronation Park and jogging on the trail by the Lake Shore Blvd. I would definitely recommend this place.

Nicholas is a solid host overall. Communication was clear and his place in Toronto was clean and well maintained. Would recommend to all guests.
