Hello! Our cabin is a secluded place to get you close to nature! It’s a beautiful fully furnished cabin ready for your family to come and enjoy the high desert of NV. Our town is Vya, NV. We are about 30 minute drive from Cedarville. That’s the closest gas station and grocery store. The cabin has does have WiFi if you choose to sign into it. So we as hosts can keep in touch from a distance. We have a website and Facebook as well. We charge per person per night. We also welcome dogs and horses!

Restful and within an hour and a half of beautiful Mt Shasta, one hour from McCloud river falls, one hour from Burney Falls, one hour 15 minutes from Lava Beds, on the way to Reno from Oregon, a great place to stay if your visiting family in the area, coming to a wedding, reunion, need a couples get-a-way or mini vacation, duck-geese-deer-antelope hunting, fishing and great stargazing area, just a fun stop on your travels through!

Was great, brought us an extra fan because it was hot, and one bedroom didn't have its own A/C unit. We didn't even ask for it. House was just fine, it a newer BnB so its developing, but everything was great.

If you're planning to come to Alturas, or anywhere close by, you should check to see if Shawna's place is available. You'll feel right at home the minute you walk into "The Wilson House". Not only is it spotlessly clean but it's also comfortably furnished. The kitchen is so well appointed that you won't have a problem making a meal. There's a covered patio, right off the kitchen, with nice outdoor furniture as well as a lovely grassy area in the backyard. It's a real plus to have an indoor laundry room with a washer and dryer. The beds are comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet making for a restful night's sleep. Shawna has really thought of everything to make this charming home an outstanding airbnb! We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area!
