This is a small log cabin located approximately 10 miles from downtown Marquette in a quiet neighborhood. Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.

Like stepping back in time. Cozy bedrooms with comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen, and fun antiques to bring back those past memories. Host was very responsive when we ended up checking in later than we expected. Super close to the airport.

Excellent place, recommended. I went there with my friends and family. We were able to find the place easily and check in was made easy with clear instructions. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean and tidy. There were a few flies and bugs, but manageable. Windows in ground floor weren’t locked. We checked and locked it before going to bed.

Great place to stay if you are looking for something private, peaceful and a bit off the beaten path. Bed was very comfortable and the wood fireplace makes it very cozy. Hosts were very friendly and came with lots of good recommendations for things in the area. Would stay again!

Hemlock Hideaway near Pictured Rocks!

This house is lovely! We were comfortable here, and we were happy to retreat back at the house at the end of each day of exploring and adventuring around Munising and Marquette. The drive to hiking, sightseeing, water activities, shopping, and restaurants was simple and easy (allow for 25-35 min drive- it is worth it!). The house has everything you need! The bed is very soft (and a bit high off the ground). The non-stick pans in the kitchen were helpful. The front porch is so cozy and the windows were so easy to open to enjoy the cool morning breeze. If you bring a Roku for the tv- do not forget your remote. We ended up using the house’s blue ray player and we watched some of the movies that were provided, but we also downloaded movies on my iPad to watch. I was perfectly happy to read a book while sipping coffee on the porch. I highly recommend this sweet home. We enjoyed ourselves, and the communication with Travis was exceptional!
