Forest Cozy Home

My house in Forestville is a walk to the river (Steelhead County Beach), near endless wineries, canoe rentals, gorgeous Sonoma coast beaches, Santa Rosa airport, a bicycle trail through West County with bike rentals in downtown Forestville offering immediate access to the trail, and a very well-stocked little grocery store a 5-minute walk down the hill. Lovely back roads take you to Healdsburg to the north or Sebastopol to the south. My dog & I stay in a basement studio when guests are here.

My daughter and I enjoyed immensely staying at Kyle‘s beautiful airbnb during our time in Sonoma County. The place is absolutely gorgeous and so spacious and has wonderful outdoor space. It was a fantastic location to get to the coast, the redwoods and many wineries. Loved downtown Forestville and all the wonderful little towns in the area. Having a garage was also a really nice touch! I would absolutely highly recommend this house and this host who was extremely helpful and very communicative. Thank you so much, Kyle! Your home made our trip extra special!

Had a great stay with my family. The house was very peaceful, and perfect for hosting a family trip. We had everything we needed to make a gourmet dinner and delicious brunches. The laundry machine was clutch. We all sat outside by the fire talking for hours and enjoying the view. The redwoods, the river, and wineries are all close. We would book again if we came back to this area.

If you are looking for a quiet place, with beautiful surroundings, this is it. The cottage was so well kept and nicely decorated. Located within a few miles of Healdsburg. John and Diane were great hosts who really have thought of everything to make their place comfortable and inviting inside and out. We would stay here again when we come back to the region. Highly recommend!

You’ve created a place that feels both grounding and inviting, and we appreciated the attention to detail. The location was perfect for exploring—close to the Russian River, Armstrong Redwoods, and not far from the coast. But honestly, just being able to relax in the quiet, surrounded by trees, was a gift in itself. We also really appreciated how warm and responsive you were throughout our stay. Beautiful!!! Tucked into the woods, comfy, checked all the boxes. Easy drive into Guernville, Armstrong Woods, & Korbel Winery. If it’s your first time in the area I would recommend a smaller vehicle, the road is one lane, winding and narrow. Also, we forgot about the spiral staircase to the bedrooms upstairs. A bit of a challenge for larger luggage or anyone with physical limitations. Great rental- would rent again.

Nice, quiet getaway, just an hour or so from the city. The area and fencing gives it a peaceful and private feel, and we enjoyed time by the fire in the front yard. Only advice: We went up in May and wished we would have brought bug spray - it’s in the woods, so mosquitos, etc are to be expected. Just come prepared.
