A quiet spot in a private neighborhood, adjacent to nearby shops, including Starbucks, Safeway, and restaurants. This guest suite is completely separate from the main house, with a full-size living room, bedroom, and bathroom. A full size desk with desk chair offer a great work space. Unwind, curl up on the couch, or get a great nights sleep among the trees. Mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (fresh-ground coffee, cream, & sugar) are in-suite. (Please be aware, we do not have a kitchen)

Enjoy the gated pool w/ waterfalls, stroll the secluded walking trail, and take a creekside hammock nap. Kick back in our comfortable rocking chairs & take in the amazing sunset. As the stars come out, gather around the fire pit & unwind in the private Jacuzzi. You’ll have everything needed for a large group to feel at home; a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, and game room with an arcade.

PEACE, COMFORT and BEAUTY. You feel peace as you drive up the hill, with a view of Folsom Lake (13 min) and Sacramento (38 min). Yet the happy hubbub of Auburn is only 9 minutes away. Arriving, you enter your peaceful private garden. Inside, true comfort awaits: nourishing sleep, creative cooking, luscious lounging (see amenities). Once settled, relaxing with wine glass in hand, you notice the beauty: the huge oak, hummingbirds, crimson-capped woodpeckers. And then you say, “Aahh, peace.”

A touch of urban in the beautiful setting of the Sierra Foothills, this beautiful one bedroom loft apartment is located on the American River green belt in Historic Folsom. Imagine biking, paddle-boarding or kayaking along the beautiful American River and then grabbing a beer from the amazing selection of micro-breweries offered on Sutter Street. The Johnny Cash Trail, Sutter Street shops and restaurants, the Saturday farmers market, etc. are all a short walk right from the front door.

The surrounding nature provides a stunning and peaceful refuge. You feel as though you're a million miles away. And yet town is only a 5 minute drive, allowing access to anything you might need during your stay. We consider our land a sacred, healing place. Before we built on this property we gave special homage to the Native peoples, and asked for blessings from the spirits to live here. We have discovered grinding rocks, shards of Chinese pottery, and ancient fire pits on the land.

Welcome to our Little Red Barn in rural Loomis. We love this area because we are surrounded by hundreds of destinations worth exploring. Whether you're interested in CA history, white water rafting, lazy lake days, skiing in Tahoe, farm to fork, or fine dining, then our Little Red Barn is a perfect jumping off location. Our barn features a completely remodeled guest suite located on the second floor. The suite has a private entrance and deck overlooking our but growing mini farm.

We are minutes from world famous trails, 10 minutes from the river, and an hour from the ski slopes. There is just so much to do right outside of our doors!
