Holiday rentals with a kayak in Floyd County

Alicia was a proactive and responsive host to a great home that afforded a very restful stay. Amenities were the best we’ve ever experienced at an Air B&B. Coffee, snacks, toiletries, plentiful supplies and quality towels and linens added to the experience. The welcome gifts (a strudel from a local bakery and bottle of wine) were enjoyed and were a classy touch. We booked the home to relax with family over Easter. The home exceed all expectations. Highly recommend this home and host.

We had a great stay at the Karma Trailer! We found it to be perfectly situated. We spent a few days immersing ourselves in all the culture of Floyd! The music, food & shopping are all unique and wonderful! It was so convenient to stay right in the middle of it all! We also drove 40 mins into Blacksburg a few days to take in the town there. The trailer itself is funky and charming! The beds are really comfortable and the showers have great water pressure & plenty of hot water! Added bonus we were able to bring our dog. There is a park right next door making late night & early morning doggy walks easy. There is plenty of on street parking. Yes there is some road noise, we noticed it was more so during the week nights then the weekend. Lots of trucks rolling by but it didn't disturb us one bit, no braking or horns just the rhythm of them driving past. We look forward to staying again someday!

Charming and secluded cabin with beautiful views! Was comfortable and cozy. Lindsay was so helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our weekend stay!

This house is beautiful I would love to come back there. the river is really nice and the amount of space is nice also. The host was amazing he helped me out and he was a really nice dude. Over all 10 out of 10 experience.

Great value for a two bedroom, fully equipped space with lake access. The furniture could be more comfortable, but overall we were pleased with the space. The kitchen was quite well-stocked; we appreciated having a slow cooker to make our dinners while we enjoyed the lake. Being able to do laundry was also a wonderful plus. We also enjoyed using the kayak and air pump provided so we didn’t have to pack ours.

We were in VA to attend a wedding, seeking a special, noteworthy location to extend our stay for an anniversary celebration/ getaway. Sunflower was absolutely perfect. The foodie in me was ecstatic at the healthily equipped kitchen and the home itself is like a marvel of curiosities curated so beautifully and tastefully. It feels like a sanctuary which is exactly what we sought. Linens and towels are all high quality, the bed we used allowed us deep sleep and the bathrooms are even stocked with organic resources. We loved exploring the Floyd town and area, including kayaking Little River just below the house, zip-lining at Buffalo Mt and hiking to the top of that mountain. It was all so soul-satisfying. Our time in the house we spent in retreat mode. Kathryn was available if we had any needs but so respectful also of our desire for privacy. We also used the hot tub and saw the 23StarLink satellites go by! I can’t fathom anyone having regrets about booking this home. So worth it!

Anahata was the perfect place for our family reunion! I hope to find another reason to have a gathering here. There are spectacular places to walk and explore out side. Inside and around the house on decks and porches are great gathering spots for small and large groups. Our family of 12 could all sleep comfortably with beautiful private accommodation. Our day visitors of 10 or so people enjoyed the beautiful house and grounds. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve experienced and I’ve been to a lot. The owners were great communicators and took care of everything!

Tommy is an excellent host and communicated well and quickly to any of our questions. Very helpful with lots of recommendations. His cabin is a unique gem in the woods just as described in pictures and details. Very cozy comfortable with great things like fenced in yard for our dog. The pond and nearby trails. The little word pictures on the refrigerator door (a little detail that was wonderful idea). Definitely recommend Tommy and his cabin in the mountains. The town of Floyd great place to visit with lots of activities, restaurants, and friendly people. Location close to BR Pkwy and other local activities. Will visit again!!!

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful lake! Enjoyed my stay one immensely!! Made the best memories here! Owners are kinda amazing people! So sweet in offering their, asparagus, ping pong table, puzzles, and flower blooms in the garden for picking! 10/10 recommend. Oh and they have all the boats and kayaking gear you need for lake rides 👍
