Everything about this place was outstanding, but the absolute best was the hostess. She was so accommodating, checked in with us helped us book drivers and arrangements and went above and beyond. The apartment is beautiful. So well appointed and everything felt new and fresh and the location was central to everything. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to come back to Catania!!! I highly recommend that you stay here!!!

Vi kom med taxi frå flyplassen. Antonietta venta på oss i leiligheten og fortalte både om kva vi såg rundt oss, ga tips om restauranter og fortalte om retter ein bør prøve når ein er i Aci Castello. Leiligheten var godt utstyrt, men vi var nok for seine med å bruke myggsprayen. Gåavstand til Aci Trezza og Catania er heller ikkje langt unna (med buss). Etter innkjøp av badesko prøvde vi ein liten svømmetur i sjøen som ligg rett nedanfor leiligheten. Her må det seiast at vi hadde problem både med å komme oss uti og opp av sjøen på grunn av store steiner som måtte forseres. Leiligheta er godt utstyrt og vi kjøpte inn mat og åt frukost "heime", laga også eit par middager i staden for å ete ute. Terrassen var fantastisk og vi sat ute heile tida, med unntak av då vi ville sjå landskampen mellom Norge og Italia (som Norge vann). Anbefaler både plassen og leiligheta på det varmeste.

The view was fantastic! And the apartment is very spacious. It was nice having a full kitchen and two bathrooms. We enjoyed the space and liked the peace and quiet. There were also good local restaurants close by, so a very convenient location.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the photos. So thoughtfully decorated and finished. Do not be put off by the street entrance - once you open the door at the top of the stairs, so much beauty awaits. There are lovely restaurants very close by, and there is easy access to all the sights. Salvo was an exceptional host - responded quickly to messages and checked up on us frequently. Thank you for a memorable stay.

We loved our stay at Badia appartment. Fabio was helpful, friendly and accommodating from start to finish, always available and never annoyed by our many questions. The apt is just as nice as in the pictures, little gestures like leaving a bottle of water and coffee capsule for arrival. Also loved the many tips Fabio prepared, and helpful videos. We just stayed on the terrace most of the time if we weren’t out and about listening to the music and buzzling of Piazza del Duomo and watching Etna lurking in the back. Fell in love with Catania here! PS also Fabio‘s mum was the nicest and kindest person to show us the appartement, also a heartfelt thanks

This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfectly set up for guests - clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The highlight is definitely the balcony, from there you have a stunning view of Catania and Etna. The location is ideal for exploring the region, with Taormina, Noto, Syracuse, Ragusa all within easy reach (1 to 1.5h drive, a car is a must!). The host was incredibly friendly. He gave us lots of tips for the region and communication was very easy. If you want to visit the south and/or east of Sicily, this is definitely a top place to stay!

Wunderbare Erfahrung! Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber mit Blick auf die Uni, sehr sauber und schön! Komplett eingerichtet, Küche mit Kaffee, Tee, Wasser und Kleinigkeiten fürs Frühstück, es war wirklich alles da. Die Kommunikation mit Vincenzo war sehr gut und immer hilfreich. Wir konnten sogar schon um die Mittagszeit einchecken. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Catania würde ich wieder diese Wohnung buchen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser großzügigen Unterkunft! Alles war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht – von der Küche bis zum Bad, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll gestaltet und vermittelt sofort ein Gefühl von Zuhause. Flavia und Davide sind grossartige Gastgeber – herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit offen für Fragen oder einen netten Plausch. Ihre offene und kommunikative Art hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder

Valentina’s apartment is lovely. Presented as the photos show, clean, in a central location within walking distance of most attractions. Heaps of great restaurants and bars nearby. 5 minutes walk to the fish market area. Quiet at night, easy to sleep and aircon worked well. We would happily stay there again.

Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! Excellent Our stay at Daniela’s place was truly great. The host was extremely helpful, kind, and welcoming. The apartment was spacious and clean, we found everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the terrace. Communication with Daniela was always very easy and quick — she responded immediately and fulfilled all our requests. The neighborhood where the accommodation is located is not the most beautiful one — we hadn’t looked into it beforehand — but since the apartment was in a private, gated street that was very quiet, and we had a car that allowed us to get around easily, it didn’t bother us at all.

Sehr schöne, kleine Wohnung mit einem Traumblick vom Balkon über den kleinen Hafen. Modern, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet (Geschirr, Küchenutensilien, Handtücher etc.) Nette Lokale in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Man ist in einer dörflichen Umgebung und doch nicht zu weit vom Zenrum Catanias entfernt. Mit dem Bus kommt man allerdings nicht so leicht hin, weil die eine Linie 534 zum Stadtzentrum nur sehr selten fährt. Es gibt aber 7 Minuten zu Fuß eine Bahnstation "Picanello", wo ca. jede halbe Stunde ein Zug zum Hauptbahnhof (und meist weiter zum Flughafen) fährt. Hätte Mario mir das vorher gesagt, hätte ich mir die 50 Euro fürs Taxi sparen können... Das ist aber schon das einzige, was ich an dieser Unterkunft auszusetzen habe!

Amazing modern apartment with a private beach! Very light and well-equipped. The highlight for me was the huge terrace, where I spent most of my time relaxing. The apartment is well located, with easy access to major tourist spots like Etna, Taormina, and Siracusa. There are plenty of cafes and bars nearby, and the best pastry shop in Catania is just a 10-minute walk away. Giuseppe and Valerio were incredibly responsive and friendly hosts. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

Very nice, very clean, very good equipped and designed apartment. We can absolutely recommend to stay here! Beach, supermarket and good restaurants are available but ideally you have a car.

Grazia è stata un Host eccezionale, cordiale disponibile e professionale. L'appartamento è bellissimo e pulitissimo confortevole e soprattutto super accessoriato dalla cucina al bagno e alle camere da letto e soggiorno nn manca nulla. apprezzatissimo regalo di ben venuto , fatto a mano da Grazia😊 Consiglio assolutamente di pernottare in questo appartamento 'il cuore di Lavica', posto strategico a Pennisi , se dovete visitare la zona della riserva dei ciclopi Acitrezza, santa tecla ad Acireale, la bella Taormina ed il suggestivo Etna tutto molto vicino e facile da raggiungere!!! sono stata davvero soddisfatta del mio soggiorno e ringrazio di cuore dell' ospitalità offertami!!!
