Everything about this place was outstanding, but the absolute best was the hostess. She was so accommodating, checked in with us helped us book drivers and arrangements and went above and beyond. The apartment is beautiful. So well appointed and everything felt new and fresh and the location was central to everything. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to come back to Catania!!! I highly recommend that you stay here!!!

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips on restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After purchasing swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that lies just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea due to large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). I highly recommend both the place and the apartment.

The view was fantastic! And the apartment is very spacious. It was nice having a full kitchen and two bathrooms. We enjoyed the space and liked the peace and quiet. There were also good local restaurants close by, so a very convenient location.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the photos. So thoughtfully decorated and finished. Do not be put off by the street entrance - once you open the door at the top of the stairs, so much beauty awaits. There are lovely restaurants very close by, and there is easy access to all the sights. Salvo was an exceptional host - responded quickly to messages and checked up on us frequently. Thank you for a memorable stay.

We loved our stay at Badia appartment. Fabio was helpful, friendly and accommodating from start to finish, always available and never annoyed by our many questions. The apt is just as nice as in the pictures, little gestures like leaving a bottle of water and coffee capsule for arrival. Also loved the many tips Fabio prepared, and helpful videos. We just stayed on the terrace most of the time if we weren’t out and about listening to the music and buzzling of Piazza del Duomo and watching Etna lurking in the back. Fell in love with Catania here! PS also Fabio‘s mum was the nicest and kindest person to show us the appartement, also a heartfelt thanks

This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfectly set up for guests - clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The highlight is definitely the balcony, from there you have a stunning view of Catania and Etna. The location is ideal for exploring the region, with Taormina, Noto, Syracuse, Ragusa all within easy reach (1 to 1.5h drive, a car is a must!). The host was incredibly friendly. He gave us lots of tips for the region and communication was very easy. If you want to visit the south and/or east of Sicily, this is definitely a top place to stay!

Vincenzo’s apartment was gorgeous and so well situated! We were easily within walking distance to everything we wanted to see without it being too noisy. The flat was clean and had everything you need Vincenzo himself was extremely welcoming and helpful giving us a personal check in and check out (and even came to let us in within 20 minutes when we stupidly locked ourselves out!)

Flavio's accommodation was great. Large apartment with all amenities, nice terrace and great privacy. Parking was possible in a closed yard 30m from the apartment. Great and quiet location both to the airport and to the center (20-30min by car). With thanks M+M.

Valentina’s apartment is lovely. Presented as the photos show, clean, in a central location within walking distance of most attractions. Heaps of great restaurants and bars nearby. 5 minutes walk to the fish market area. Quiet at night, easy to sleep and aircon worked well. We would happily stay there again.

Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! It is a beautiful place with great hosts.

Very nice, small apartment with a dream view from the balcony over the small harbor. Modern, very tastefully furnished and well equipped (dishes, kitchen utensils, towels, etc.) Nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity. You are in a village environment and yet not too far from the center of Catania. However, it is not so easy to get there by bus, because the one line 534 to the city center only runs very rarely. However, there is a train station "Picanello" 7 minutes' walk away, where a train runs to the main train station (and usually further to the airport) about every half hour. If Mario had told me that before, I could have saved the 50 euros for the taxi... But that's the only thing I have to complain about at this place!

Amazing modern apartment with a private beach! Very light and well-equipped. The highlight for me was the huge terrace, where I spent most of my time relaxing. The apartment is well located, with easy access to major tourist spots like Etna, Taormina, and Siracusa. There are plenty of cafes and bars nearby, and the best pastry shop in Catania is just a 10-minute walk away. Giuseppe and Valerio were incredibly responsive and friendly hosts. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

Very nice, very clean, very good equipped and designed apartment. We can absolutely recommend to stay here! Beach, supermarket and good restaurants are available but ideally you have a car.

I had a wonderful stay at Grazia’s Apartment. She even provided me with breakfast and some drinks. The place is very spacious and quiet, the bed was very comfortable. It is conveniently located at the base of Mt Ätna for those who want to explore it.
