Holiday rentals with a patio in Florencia

We spent three nights in la fortuna. This was an excellent spot, it was the perfect balance- right in nature with breakfast views of the arenal volcano but also just a 20 minute walk from la fortuna centre (and a 3 min walk to the nearest shop!). Gary and Kim were really helpful during our stay, we really appreciated their accommodating a slightly delayed check out due to car rental issues ! overall would 100% recommend!

Super clean and modern apartment. In the middle in nature, I love the quietness of the place. Saw some animals near the Airbnb as well.

We stayed in the orange cabin for 4 nights. We had an amazing time. Prior to check in the host messaged me with detailed instructions for check in and information about our stay. Check in was easy and the host was there to greet us and make sure we got in ok. Cabin was pristine! The cabin and property was beautiful, tidy, and very clean. The host lives on the property which also made us feel extra safe. He was also around daily to check in with us and make sure we were satisfied. The host is very responsive and quick to reply to any questions. We had great weather and view of the volcano, especially in the morning. The cabin is about a 2 min drive from downtown La Fortuna, but feels peaceful and quiet. Many birds frequented the property as well as the hosts new kitten who was very friendly and playful. Overall I have zero complaints! Would definitely recommend this place

Beautiful place and excellent host, would come back a thousand times

Hands down the BEST Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away—the views are absolutely to die for. Waking up to panoramic jungle scenery with toucans and monkeys right off the balcony felt like something out of a dream. The home was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was Jose—he went above and beyond to make sure every request was met with care and hospitality. You can tell he genuinely wants guests to have the best experience possible. We didn’t want to leave! Already dreaming about when we can come back.

It was a really nice stay. Close to town and walkable to a few sodas, restaurants, el salto swing and many other things. All the transport found the place easy and it was easy to get in and out of. Carlos was super welcoming with many recommendations and great at communicating!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The balcony is the true highlight—perfect for watching wildlife. We spotted 54 bird species on the property, including the charismatic Three-wattled Bellbird, watched a troop of nine monkeys, and even saw a compost-diving coati—all from the comfort of the balcony. The hosts were fantastic at communicating, and the lodging was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. All the amenities and equipment worked perfectly, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals for a week. There’s also a small grocery and bakery conveniently located across the street. The location is excellent—within a 10-minute walk you’ll find Curi Cancha Reserve, Bajo del Tigre, the Monteverde Waterfall, and the Crandall Reserve, which is accessible directly from the property. There is some occasional road noise from motorcycles and milk trucks, but the incredible wildlife and comfort more than make up for it. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a front-row seat

The house is a peaceful oasis in urban Quesada. Ulises father Gerardo is the host, and he is very friendly and provided great communication. The setting is very secure with a locked gate entrance and even garage parking. Each of the 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom and they were spotless. Since there is no A/C, it is necessary to leave the windows open to enjoy the cool breeze. The windows don’t have screens, but surprisingly we only saw a few insects and 1 lizard come inside. The showers have individual overhead water heaters for warm water. We learned the house is for sale, so if any renters are interested ask Gerardo for details!

Very quiet place, excellent facilities

This location was great if you want to stay close but not too close to La Fortuna. The house is very private and clean. We highly recommend if you want to stay somewhere peaceful with minimal foot traffic.

It is a place of great peace, silence, contact with nature and warmth of the house. This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the place. Always impeccable and always attentive to answering our questions.

Jose, his family and friends were more than welcoming to us from the moment we came to the Airbnb! Quick responses and always there to lend us a hand or guide us to anything we may need! Amazing food at a local restaurant, horseback riding on his land with lots of things to see and learn about! His pool at the Airbnb was absolutely amazing! We loved getting to meet his family members and socializing with them! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone in near the La Fortuna area!!! Ps wait until you see his 2nd one they are building right now!! Thank you soo very much! We loved everyone moment at your home!

The house is very beautiful, it is next to a river so the singing of birds, crickets and frogs accompany you at all times. The place is very quiet, it is in a somewhat isolated area and about 30 minutes from Fortuna and 10 minutes from Chachagua. It has all the services to live in the house, cook and rest.

Our stay at this house was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning natural surroundings – truly a peaceful oasis. The house itself is incredibly spacious, with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic family getaway. The location is perfect for nature lovers, with numerous hiking trails nearby. We spent evenings gathered around the fire pit for s'mores and stargazing – truly magical! The cozy fireplace inside and the bathtub were also a huge hit. Despite feeling wonderfully secluded, the house is also conveniently close to the town center, making it easy to grab groceries or explore local shops. This place really has it all.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Monstera House. The home is exactly as described in the listing. The bathroom is so beautiful, the pool was spotless, and the rest of the house was amazingly clean. Sandra cooked us a Costa Rican breakfast every morning, which was such a sweet addition to our stay. We drove about 15 minutes every evening to get to La Fortuna for dinner, and about 30min-1hour for excursions in the morning near La Fortuna. Ubers are very accessible in the area, which we took often to dinner. Sandra was very helpful and responded very quickly. We can’t recommend this Airbnb enough!!

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

Cristian was amazing! He was very accommodating and helpful. He offered to do our laundry and even kept our bags a little longer, to allow us to do a morning excursion. It's a great place for 2 people.

Found our stay at the apartment comfortable and enjoyable. The place was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses comfortable as were the sofas in the living space. It was an ideal location for our base for the week, close to town and restaurants, but also perfect as a sanctuary from some spectacular rain and thunderstorms that would roll in. We never really used the kitchen for cooking but it had all the amenities. The shower had good water pressure and hot water if needed. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions. If we needed it, fresh towels and sheets were available as was a tidy and clean of the garbage and bathroom from the helpful lady who worked there. We stayed for just over a week and would happily return and recommend to others.

Well located apartment with everything you need and a beautiful terrace! Everything is within walking distance! Communication was easy and nice!👍🏻:-)

It's a great place to stay at, however, what we missed was hot water at the kitchen and bathroom sinks. otherwise all good, we'd recommend it.
