Walk along the bird breeding area, cycle in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC harbor towns Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 minutes from Amsterdam. In the middle of a wooded and quiet part of the Veluwe is the country house De Herder. This cozy house, completely renovated and furnished in 2024, can accommodate 6 people and is ideal for a family. It is located in a small-scale nature park where peace and nature are central. Enjoy birds and squirrels in the garden or explore the area. Within walking distance is one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Netherlands, perfect for golf lovers who want to play in a beautiful, green environment.

The jacuzzi can be booked separately for €30 per 2 h. All in the peaceful countryside with a view of storks in the season. All you need for the perfect getaway can be found here or in the area. The nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden is only 3 km away and Giethoorn a 20-min. drive. We have rental bikes.
