Double room in detached annex

SandraRating, 5 stars5 days ago
First time I've booked an Airbnb, and Jane was really helpful. The accommodation exceeded my expectations with Jane's attention to detail such as table and chairs tucked under the bed to use (I did use them); pillows and milk to suit my preference, and toiletries, snacks and breakfast items to help myself to. I felt very at home and as I visit Crowborough to visit family I will definitely stay again. Supermarkets and shops were about a mile walk away and easy to get to, with a pub serving food within a very short walk. Thank you Jane.

The Bull Pen

JulieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The Bull Pen is a wonderful place to stay and soak up a calm, and relaxing environment! The moment we walked in we could see the love and care that has gone into making The Bull Pen warm and welcoming! Thankyou Simon and Millie for welcoming us and our family, you are the perfect hosts! Just to say the beds were really comfy and we all slept well. The views from the picture window across the lake were beautiful, kingfishers were spotted amongst other wildlife. Plenty of walks to explore and we can recommend a visit to The Anchor Pub along side the river where you can hire boats! Fabulous! We have booked to come back in August!

Former Game keepers lodge with woodburner

Lee AnneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Enchanting and cosy! I had a lovely stay here, came for 5 nights to do an online course and have time to myself. Loved the decor, warm, cosy lamp light, had everything to cook meals, great woodburner on a couple of chilly nights, very comfy bed and bedding. Beautiful dawn chorus, spotted a deer from the window one day, was lucky to meet Reggae the dog, warm hello from Sally and husband. As others have said, probably not suitable for people with certain disabilities as the loo is tight and the bed is quite a climb (high :), both not a problem for me. Lovely area and Uckfield a short drive away for shopping. I recommend and hope to come again.

The Nest Danehill - Idyllic Woodland Retreat

KateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at The Nest was idyllic. Serena was there to meet us when we arrived and provided us with the warmest of welcomes. She showed us the accommodation and explained the features and appliances, as well as giving us some local recommendations for restaurants, shops and trips out. Serena also made sure we knew to contact her should we need anything else. We were delighted to find bread, milk, butter, biscuits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, toiletries and other essentials already provided! The accommodation itself is beautiful. It looks even better than the pictures show and contains everything you could need. The view from The Nest is picturesque and the surrounding area is very peaceful. I can't recommend The Nest enough. Serena is an exceptional host who has gone to great lengths to create such a wonderful space in which to spend a few days of calm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Nest to anyone who wishes to explore the stunning Sussex countryside.

‘The Water Snug’ Floating Lake Cabin

JoeRating, 5 stars1 day ago
What a visit! We’ve absolutely loved every minute of our stay with Patrick and Juliette, they have created the most beautiful living space and could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It’s a fantastic spot for either a calm getaway or for if you want to do some exploring, and your hosts have excellent local knowledge that they are happy to share if you need recommendations for the area. We had planned to just relax on the boat for the whole time, but we actually wound up visiting nearby areas (Brighton, the beautiful Sheffield Park, local pubs) before retreating to the boat for the evenings, and we loved this mix. Could not recommend this place enough, it’s been our favourite holiday yet and I’m certain that we’ll be back in future!
