Here you can fish aure, char and if you are lucky you can get salmon. It is a quiet area in nature. 4.4 km from the city centre and shops. There are a lot of great hiking trails. One can walk from the cottage to different hiking areas. One can also drive short distances to get to the mountains. The car road to the cabin can be a bit bumpy and muddy after a lot of rain.

Alone In The Woods With Your Own River Nearby

The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Have fun with the whole family at this rural residence close to nature in a rustic environment. In the main house there is a twin bed, a loft that children will love, a sofa you can also sleep on. Basement with freezer, the top shelf at guests' disposal, and washing machine. A small extra cabin with a double bed a stone's throw away provides flexibility. The piano can be used with care. Here you won't find ostentatious luxury, but a warm atmosphere and everything you need for a nice stay!

The cabin is located 30 minutes from Våge, Tysnes, 1,5 hours driving from Bergen and 10 minutes from a boat that goes to and from the Airport.

The cabin has an exclusive feel, and consistently high qualities all around. There is a large parking facility connected, approximately a 3-5 minute walk from the cabin. The tenant can assist with transporting luggage to and from the cabin with an ATV for a fee. The cabin is located right by the water with easy access down to the boathouse and pier. There are opportunities to rent both, a small boat, or a large boat with a captain.

This is a very special place on top of the mountain above Bergen center, in a public park, with great hiking possibilities. Be aware you can't drive all the way to the house !
