Lake house holiday rentals in Findley Lake

We are really grateful for being able to stay at such a good place! The location is very quiet and peaceful, right next to the lake and really close to the beach area. The house is spacious and cosy, with a good system of cooling/heating. Everything was clean, you can find anything you need there. Especially liked a kitchen with lots of cooking and baking items. I highly recommend this place and I will look forward to stay there again next time!

This place was amazing. We visit this lake frequently and didn't even know this canal existed. It's amazing to have a place to tuck the boat away and not have to worry about wind/waves. The entire community here was so friendly. The house was perfect! Clean, bright and beautiful. We will definitely be back!

This was great for our family. Both bathrooms were clean and the primary bedroom was spacious and neat and clean. The living room and Kitchen we plenty large enough to hang out in the mornings and the deck was great in the evening.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The facilities accommodated all our needs. The grandkids enjoyed fishing off the dock and I was able to moor the boat with ease. I have little doubt we will return to the Kingfisher in the future. Great hosts!

We had an amazing week! Everything was just perfect. The house was so comfortable and we were amazed that no matter what we needed, it was there. It was so well stocked and truly felt like home. The backyard is breathtaking. We spent the entire week just relaxing on the back decks, in the hot tub, fishing on the dock and just enjoying the views. John was so helpful and considerate and helped us by recommending a great boat rental. Everything was so well thought out - so appreciated the retractable gate on the deck for the granddaughters! Anything that you need is nearby - grocery store, target, and many ice cream shops! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The house was very spacious and had 3 really nice bathrooms. Common areas had a lot of space and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. Perfect place for quality family time and enjoying the beauty of the lake!

Robyn our Host was super responsive. The cabin as we called it was very cute, cozy, and clean. The area was very quiet (we stayed September through October) and walkable, dog friendly, the lake was beautiful. Would definitely rent this again!

what can i say - the house was beautiful, comfortable and exactly as described . our host - kathi was the best , i coulkdnt be more pleased with our stay ! very grateful for the opportunity to stay in such a nice place , really felt like home!!

They were so kind and generous, helpful as well. The beds were comfortable, the living room was comfortable. There was a wonderful ambiance from the fireplace and the kitchen area was nice. The only thing we wished we had was backs on the chairs in the kitchen lol I guess that’s what happens when you get older. Highly recommended if you want a nice clean place with plenty of room, two nice bedrooms, and two nicely updated bathrooms, a private yard for grilling out was nice as well.

Troy was an excellent communicator. We loved how the backyard opened right on to Lake Erie. Big back porch for enjoying sunsets! Plenty of linens. Very clean.

As soon as we opened the door, we were greeted by a wonderful scent that instantly made us feel at home. The moment we took in our surroundings, I exclaimed, “I never want to leave this place!” We enjoyed the most peaceful and relaxing weekend, and this enchanting home played a significant role in that. I particularly loved kayaking on the lake, where I had great success fishing after picking up some live bait. The home is exquisitely decorated, with stunning outdoor views that simply take your breath away. My best friend was captivated by the sounds of the bullfrogs and even researched the meanings behind their different calls. Overall, this experience was truly magical, and I can't wait to return!

Nadia's place was perfect for our trip to Erie. It was fully stocked with towels, linens, and coffee. Full service kitchen, and and nice little patio out back. We asked Nadia for a favor on our checkout and she graciously helped us out, which was much appreciated. Would stay here again, thank you.

The place was clean & neat. The owner was responsive when we had a small issue. Resolved it in a timely manner. The place is comfortable and cozy. The A/C-heating unit was like what you would have in a hotel. So, if you shut the bedroom doors to sleep, you’re cutting yourself off from the heat/AC. Not a negative. Just something to note. Prior guest must have had a dog as my husband and I got dog hair on our clothing when we sat on the couch the first night. Not the owners fault. We didn’t see it either until it got on our clothes. Would stay here again.

Pros: Great value for the price! The cottage is very close to the docks and boat house where kayaks and canoes are stored, all complimentary with the Airbnb. 3 bedrooms available with comfortable beds. Basic kitchenware was included, but you should bring extra items if you want to do any specialty cooking (a wok for example). No television available, but it's perfect for a weekend getaway. Woods nearby have trails for hiking. Cons: Limited parking if you have a larger party. A maximum of 3 cars could park comfortably, 4 if you double park. Cell service was limited for most carriers. Verizon had 2-3 bars, Virgin Mobile had no service. Wifi is available, but it is limited as well (1-2 bars in most parts of the cottage). There is a road between the cottage and the lake, but it's only two lanes and can be easily crossed. Overall: Very good Airbnb for a weekend getaway! We housed 6 guys comfortably and are very likely to return for future visits. Would recommend.

We wouldn't change a thing! Fabulous house and perfect for 3 couples, and more if needed! Great location! Wonderful views of the lake from inside and outside of the house, as well as access to the lakeshore beach! The house is very clean, well appointed, and a perfect floor plan for both privacy, and community areas. So many things to do, from the fire pit, pool table, video games and garage games, for adults and kids. The two driveways were great for multiple cars and greatly appreciated. Only 30 minutes from the Bay Front in Erie, a little over 30 minutes to Presque Isle and about 1 1/2 hours from Niagara Falls. Several ponds and areas to fish in North East, trains to watch, The Straw Hat Deli and ice cream shop and a quaint down town area of North East with restaurants and a cute coffee shop. The house was super clean and the hosts were wonderful! We hope to return!

India’s home near the lake was absolutely beautiful—spacious, peaceful, and full of charm. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. India was a kind and thoughtful host. We felt right at home and would love to come back. Highly recommend!

We absolutely LOVED staying at Amy & Robin's residence. The house was absolutely gorgeous in a very quiet, quaint location in Cambridge Springs. Not too far from Edinboro University, which is what we were looking for. The house was nicely decorated and the hosts thought about all the 'little' things you might need during the trip. What I loved the most is how friendly, responsive and communicative the hosts were! Any questions, all we had to do was send a text. I highly recommend this property whether you're looking for a quiet getaway, family/friend reunion, etc. Will definitely reach out to these hosts again!

Jeff was great. From the minute I booked the place, to the day of check in, til the time we checked out Jeff was nothing but friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The house had a bunch of character, antiques, and amenities. The weather didn’t let us use the fire pit, but the outdoor bar/deck area overlooking the lake was put to good use. We got to see the best sunsets every evening. Would definitely come back!

Beautifully well maintained home❤️Located about 35 miles east of Erie. Within walking distance of the lake. Everything was exactly as described. We had a great time with the family! Only thing missing was a hot tub or a gas fireplace in the living room. Would stay here again if we were visiting the area ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
