Cottage holiday rentals in Ferndale

We had a great stay. Everything was as described and the home was very clean. 5 minute drive into Eastsound and close to tons of hikes and beaches. Already planning our return trip. My dog loved the fenced back yard too! So hard to find a dog friendly airbnb but this was the only one on the island with a fenced yard :)

Beautiful view of the north side of the island. Well stocked kitchen, fun private beach, lots of fun extra touches around the house. A lot bigger than the listing, was a great place for a home base and we can't wait to stay again. Responsive host.

The North Beach Inn was the perfect stay for our trip to Orcas Island. Waking up to the beach in the morning and watching the wildlife like the seals and bald eagles was a nice way to start the day. We played the board games provided and had a wonderful fire on the beach. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this spot to my friends!

One of the best stays we’ve had. This is just the loveliest setting, with so many activities. The cabin is absolutely rustic but if your emphasis is on the outdoors and the location rather than amenities you’ll love it as much as we did. We grilled for friends and fished and swam and hiked and played uno flip for hours. We’ll be back!

In the center of the village yet you feel like you’re deep in your own private oasis. Loved everything about this cozy cabin. The only advice I’d give fellow travelers is to bring an eye sleep mask. The beautiful skylights allow light in which can make it difficult to sleep in if that’s what you need.

We absolutely adored staying here! It really made our trip extra-special to have this quiet private place to call our home-away-from-home. We loved being able to have a campfire on the beach every night, the beds were very comfortable, and the electric fireplace made us cozy. We also appreciated the whale watching recommendation given to us when we booked the house! It would be a dream to stay here again someday!

Amazing!! Just needed a quick getaway for the weekend, so finding NB was not only a pleasant surprise, it was incredible! We will absolutely be back every time we come to Orcas!

the cabin was exactly as represented. very dated, banged up furniture but very clean. but the main aspect of this stay is the view and the beach. right outside the door. absolutely perfect for our 3 kids 7, 4 and 2. a fire ring and chairs on beach -plenty of provided firewood. we would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay in Eastsound. Lydia’s place has an amazing location close to all amenities yet away from noise. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved that our dog Neve was able to join. Lydia was also kind to let us visit her farm on the other side of the island. Our girls had a blast with the goats, pigs, chickens and organic garden. Thank you Lydia!

We went for a weekend getaway for my birthday and did not want to leave! Such a cute little cottage, exactly as advertised. The beach area was lovely to sit and watch the wildlife, and take walks and we found some beautiful pebbles and shells. I loved that it also had a yard area with a picnic table and could see having a beautiful meal out there in warmer weather. We arrived earlier than expected but the host allowed us to check in early so we could get settled, and the bed was a very comfortable respite after long days of travel/ exploring the island. We will definitely be staying again someday!

Exactly as described! Super clean, cute home! Comfy beds, plenty of towels and linens! Beautiful view and yard! We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Very nice older home. Bed was comfortable and heating was great given it was chilly outside. It has a fireplace but wasn’t there enough to warrant starting one. Easy to check in and out. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic country cottage, with lots of farm animals. was a wonderful place for me and my family visiting the area

We enjoyed our time at this apartment. It was clean, easy to get to and actually had extra spices in the cabinet. They supplied laundry soap and plenty of linens.

Absolutely loved our stay! Beach out the front door and a beautiful pasture out the back with the cutest cows which was a fantastic surprise as I love farm animals. Felt right at home and so did the pups with the complimentary dog treats! I will definitely have to come back soon!
