Madgalena's place was great! Beautiful view of Tsoutsouros village and the sea. There were many toys for the kids to play in the garden and a greenhouse with vegetables to eat directly from the plants. The jacuzzi was fun too!

Our experience was fantastic, we enjoyed a perfectly relaxing holiday in a beautiful environment. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, and even gave us gifts during our stay and to take home. Would definitely stay again and would recommend both the hosts and location wholeheartedly.

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

We had a very nice stay, the house was so lovely, with everything provided even a cleaning service. Restaurants and beach clubs can be reach by foot (approximately 10 min walk). There is a very nice traditional village near the house with excellent restaurants (approximately 15 min walk). But most of all thank you very much Stefani for everything you were so nice and helpful, really many thanks everything was perfect thanks to you 🙏🏼 ☺️

Perfect welcome, very kind and professional... The view is superb and the staff is always attentive... very friendly and excellent restaurant....and perfect breakfast. Accessible and very well maintained pool... And the extra services we requested were done with speed and understanding.... 10 out of 10 to this reservation! Congrats

We had a wonderful stay here. Very peaceful. Often all you will hear are the bells clanging from the local goats. Delicious food at the onsite taverna. Beautiful lodge, with special touches such as a bottle of wine waiting for us to congratulate us on our wedding. Of note, this villa is very high up in the mountains. If you're flying into heraklian airport that evening, it's a long and dark drive up some very narrow and winding roads, so you may want to make the drive in the daytime. It's about an hour drive up/down the mountain to any other town so be prepared to drive. But the scenery is beautiful...majestic mountains.

Anestis was extremely helpful and pleasant and the place is amazing! Great view and sound of the water which was very relaxing. Close to a great beach town which was walkable.

The house was bigger and better than what we thought from the photos. Antonis is quick to respond and quickly sorted out if needed. Recommended! Short distance to most, but you should have a car.

We had a wonderful week at Ioannis's place! We were welcomed by his very kind mother, and felt right at home from the beginning. The beach a few minutes' walk away is beautiful and was quite quiet at the end of May. There are mini markets within walking distance, and supermarkets within five minutes' drive. The hills to the north are stunning, and we thoroughly enjoyed walking among them. Totally recommend!

We spent more than 2 weeks in Aspasia's house and we felt very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was clean and we found everything we needed. Aspasia even organized a yoga mat for me. Communication with Aspasia went smoothly. The bathroom is not the latest, but you don't notice much of it because there is an outdoor shower. A cat visited us every day, we hope she continues to find food sources We also enjoyed the surroundings very much, often we were right on the beach down in Keratokampos, also partly on foot. But the beaches around are all very nice, mostly pebbles on the shore and sand towards the sea. You could snorkel in quiet weather, in the wind we have the waves. There are also two shops: minimarket, supermarket. In the supermarket, the postcards are brought to the post office on Wednesdays at noon. The restaurants are also very good, we were mostly in the taverna Christina.

A really enjoyable stay at Platankia. It was extremely well equipped and had everything you would need and more, only thing that would help would a microwave - the kids really enjoyed the toys that were in the beach basket and kept them entertained without the need for a TV etc. Be warned wifi is a bit slow but great if you want to disconnect from the Internet for a while. Some really great restaurants, would recommend Vespas for Pizzas and Vitsalo is great for seafood. Everyone in town is extremely friendly and kind and Myrtos is always contactable if you have any other queries. We enjoyed being able to pick oranges and lemons and made enough lemonade to sink a battleship! I really enjoyed the hmock and the slide and swing is great for children. It is extremely private as you have large greenhouses on both sides but at the same time it is super easy to walk into town. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would come back. The gorge is worth seeing and lots of other stuff

We (father, two children) booked Yanna's house for 9 days in April 2025. Yanna and her husband Yiannis gave us a warm welcome, and check-in was very easy. The house is beautifully situated on a hillside with an east-facing view toward the sunrise. You quickly learn to appreciate breakfast on the patio! The house was very clean, equipped with everything you need, and had comfortable beds. The highlight is certainly the outdoor area, which has been lovingly designed. The old coastal road is below the property, and traffic can be a bit annoying during the day on weekdays. However, it is quiet at night and on the weekends. A car is essential; it's a 10-15-minute drive to Agios Nikolaos (pleanty of restaurants and supermarkets). Yanna can give good tips for restaurants in the area. Cretan hospitality is well known, but Yanna and Yiannis have taken it to the next level!

The little apartment is located in a fishing village of Makry Gialos, in the far south East of the Island, full of nice restaurants but in a quiet spot, facing the sea. We found it very clean, set up with care. It has a good kitchen, a hair dryer, iron and board, and a very useful little book compiled by the host that described the surroundings. A little terrace and a lot of stray Cats around complete it. Reasonable price. A very good place to be.

The place is small but nice. Everything is very well thought out and the equipment is excellent. Everything is available even for the first breakfast. The location is also great and parking spaces nearby are always free. Check-in and checkout were completely hassle-free and George is always available and very nice. We can only recommend the apartment and would book it again at any time.

Audrey was really helpful sorting out transfers and a shopping for when we arrived. The villa and pool area is decorated to a very high standard. We would thoroughly recommend visiting it is a great holiday location

The place was simply amazing. Quiet, clean and beautiful. A nice pool and a beautiful big garden made the experience even better. Furthermore, Kostantinos was one of the most hospitable hosts I ‘ve ever had. Always responsive and helpful no matter the time. We would always come back and we recommend the place without any hesitation!

Well where to start!? First of all some context - we have been lucky enough to have holidayed in some amazing properties over the last twelve years or so, all across Europe: France; Portugal; Italy; Spain. But this experience has outshone them all. This property is utterly breathtaking: well appointed, tasteful, clean, the facilities and amenities were far beyond our expectations: Acres and acres of private outside space, like a garden of Eden - lovingly maintained, with a multitude of very special, unique, and varied spaces to suit any mood. An extensive outdoor kitchen, take your pick from barbecue, wood stove, and pizza oven… Inside we found perfectly furnished, super fast WiFi, two modern big screen TV’s with all bells and whistles, super cool remote control air conditioning in every room, 3 x WC’s 2 x bathrooms, washing machine/utility areas, 2 wonderful bedrooms, and the swimming pool is by far the best that we have ever experienced. An honour and a privilege to stay here.

We had a fabulous holiday at Ioanna’s place. It is a family affair and they were such gracious hosts with a welcome meal as well as some sweet treats along the way. Thanks so much to lovely Despina who gave us many tips on eating out and shopping. The photos are a fair representation of the property and it is situated within easy driving distance of Agios Nikolaos and Elounda. The pool area is ideal for 4 people with comfortable sunbathing loungers. We ate out mostly in Elounda which is a lovely small town. The best meals we had were the fish dishes and local Cretan fayre. We visited Spinalonga after reading the book ‘the island’. Still worth it in spite of recent increases in costs. We preferred to go direct from Plaka on the ferry rather than take a tour where we would have been restricted to time. We also traveled into the hills to Kritsa where there are lovely jewellery and gift stores along the main thoughfare and Kritsa gorge is worth a visit. We take away special memories! X

Linda's daughter Sorcha greeted us from start to finish and was a fantastic host. Aside from the fact that the property was as advertised in every way, some of the best parts of our trip came from her recommendations. Overall, we felt very comfortable, were always well looked after and the apartment met our expectations. You have to know that in the evening hours one or the other plane also flies to Heraklion. A small supermarket is directly on site and a 2-minute walk away. Otherwise, a quick shopping or eating out by public transport is not so easy without a rental car. By car, everything is no problem in five minutes in a wide selection. The view and the apartment is very good. Swimming on site on foot in five minutes very possible below the apartment. This one was much more generous than expected. Overall, we will be happy to come back.

Great apartment with a great view of the entire city of Malia. Location private and alone on the mountainside above Malia, should/must have a car due to the location on the mountainside. Very kind and welcoming host who is easily accessible on the phone. Many great restaurants in the old town just below the mountainside. We've had a wonderful few weeks here.

Great communication from Anna who met us personally and provided helpful online guide. Stayed in apartment 10, whilst compact it was comfortable and had everything we needed and beautifully decorated. The location is up a hill with fabulous views from the terraces and pool area. Clean pool and warm enough to swim in mid May. Designated parking a short walk from the apartments. Lovely shaded garden terrace as well where we had breakfast enjoying the view and the cats! Highly recommend and would stay again
