Gîte C 'est le Bon - Doudrac

SamanthaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Hanneke and her son are very welcoming, the cottage is freshly renovated and beautifully decorated, as shown in the photos. The nearby villages are very beautiful and lively: markets, restaurants and flea markets. Villeréal is right next door and has all the necessary amenities for a weekend. We are delighted with the few days spent here.

Le Nid - La Jolie Vie

MelanieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
It is rare that a place is more beautiful than the photos on the listing suggest, but this was the case with Le Petit Nid. The surroundings are stunning and very peaceful and the gite itself is really well designed and full of thoughtful touches. Dinner on the night of our arrival was a delicious surprise.

Lavender Cottage, Private Pool, Countryside Views

StephanieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Well what can we say! What a beautiful find on Airbnb! We wanted a place to have a quiet, peaceful holiday but immerse ourselves in rural France. The roads in France are something else, so we even enjoyed the 9 hours driving down. The property is very well equipped, I love going away and finding sharp knives, new non stick pans and everything you could possibly need for an easy self catering experience. Pool beautiful too. Very comfortable and clean, we loved the place. In the area the amount of gorgeous, medieval little towns was staggering. You must go to Issigeac even if it is to sample the Sunday morning market. We took our dog and she loved the walks in Issigeac around the nature reserve and the Parc at Pombonne. Best supermarket was the Hypermarket at Cressey. You must visit Bergerac and Périgueux…I could go on and on. What a wonderful holiday we had. Thank you to the lovely owners and Angela and Nigel who look after the place. It was great!

The Old Goat House at Maison Guillaume Blanc

RichRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely brilliant stay with Tim and Sarah (and their lovely cats and dog!). The Old Goat House is truly something special – even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. It’s been restored with such care and character, and every detail made our stay feel relaxing and memorable. Tim and Sarah were wonderful hosts – welcoming, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with throughout. We left feeling completely refreshed and already look forward to returning one day. Highly recommend!

Luxurious country house (pool, sauna, spa)

BethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My family & I have just spent a perfect week at La Closerie and we all wholeheartedly echo all that was written in the very first review (March 25). There is, quite simply, nothing negative to say. Marilyne & Jeremy were the perfect hosts who could not have made us feel more welcome. Marilyne told us that their dream was to create a space where several generations of the same family could gather and create beautiful memories and, my goodness, they have achieved their dream! We truly could not have enjoyed our stay more. Blessed with beautiful weather, we spent the majority of the week enjoying time in the garden, be it by the pool, long lunches and evening meals around the table, or just marvelling at the rolling hills that surround the property. Marilyne and Jeremy write about La Closerie being a haven of peace; a refuge where one will find rest and relaxation and this is absolutely the case. Each member of my family sincerely hopes to return one day… A very special stay indeed…

Thank you so much to Annie and Bernard for making our stay so relaxing, peaceful and brilliant. The house is wonderful with plenty of space inside and outside The home was exactly as described—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was ideal, plenty of nature, great walking and very peaceful Annie and Bernard were fantastic hosts: warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend their place to anyone visiting the area!
