Holiday rentals with a kayak in Faro District

It was a great time. From the check-in to our stay in the house and the checkout. Everything was well prepared and clean.

Loved this little holiday home, a little small inside but the outside space made up fot that. Perfect location at the top of the escalators and just far away from the noise of all the bars but close enough to walk to. Will definitely go back.

A nice place if you have a car

Our booking was extremely last minute after we had been unable to stay in our family home. Quinta Dos Sorrisos was a home from home. Aida and Berry are amazing hosts, chilled yet responsive and perfectly accommodating. The accommodation is boutique chic. A rustic feel yet with a polished finish. All the little touches show the love and impeccable taste that has been poured into its creation. It’s minimalist for a relaxing feel, you can really declutter your brain. The facilities, for example to charge your phone, are discreetly at hand. Quinta Dos Sorrisos ticks all the boxes for an eco-holiday the solar panels are a no brainer. The local produce of oranges and figs, come without any airmiles. The area itself is my favourite part of the Algarve, Maragota, Moncarapacho e Fuseta. The Guardian rates it as number one for 2023 travel and being multi local and lucky enough to call this one of my homes I agree. Quinta Dos encapsulates the magic of this very special area.

Quite simply a stunning traditional town house in Santa Luzia. Comletely refurbished, tons of space, beautifully and tastefully furnished. Views from the roof terrace are wonderful. Ines was super responsive. I cannot recommend this house highly enough. You wont be disappointed.

It was our first time in Portugal and it was wonderful. The accommodation was perfect, we wanted to find peace and relaxation and that's exactly what we got. The house is beautiful and well equipped. Julie left us some food in the fridge because we arrived late in the evening. That was very nice. The property is absolutely amazing. Very, very large and wonderful places to linger. We were allowed to snack on the fruit and vegetables every day. Mary Ann and William are very friendly and asked how we were and if we needed anything else. All in all, the vacation was perfect and we would highly recommend it to any other guest!

Wonderful place: we stayed here for 8 days with our 2 sons (3 and 6 yrs) and had very nice, relaxing days. The cottage is beautiful! Just like the herb garden and orchard: the boys loved picking fresh fruit in the morning. Stijn and Jim are very pleasant hosts: they are there if needed and like to think along in fun tips, but otherwise you are wonderfully on your own. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet place but where you can also get to all kinds of beautiful places within 15-25 minutes!

Pleasant stay and welcoming hosts. It's just missing the air conditioning but the setting is nice, the pool was very nice.

The Quinta Dos Cochichos is a wonderful little spot on earth, lovingly maintained and in an absolutely quiet environment, yet you can quickly get to Olhão or one of the beautiful beaches of the Ria Formosa. The owners Paula and Marc are there when needed, and otherwise wonderfully unobtrusive, friendly and lovable. There is what is described, no beautified descriptions or photos - honest and authentic. We had a very nice time and would highly recommend staying there.

We spent a night during our bike trip and it was very nice to rest, enjoy the ocean (very easy by bike) and cook! We particularly enjoyed the fresh vegetables, eggs, and bread available by hosts!

I had a restful stay at Aida and Barry’s place. I didn’t have a car and nearest train station is 3km away. Was able to get Uber to visit nearby towns when needed easily. I enjoyed having the very friendly dogs who wanted to walk with me, getting freshly laid eggs at the farm and the best oranges when juiced have the balance of tart and sweet. Aida and Barry were both very friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you!

If you prefer the rural location, Sandra's apartment is perfect, because in a few minutes you are on the main street. The steep gravel path was unusual for us at first. The apartment is beautifully furnished, the kitchen very well equipped, the terrace beautiful, Sandra and her family are very friendly. We are happy to recommend the place!

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

Spectacular space in the countryside, with swimming pool, lawn, trees, only the birds are heard. The very clean, functional, well decorated house, was a wonderful holiday!
