Farmstay holiday rentals in Faro District

We had the best stay at the wine fame of Guillaume. The apartment was very cosy and had everything we needed for us and our 10 month old baby. The location was great. Close by the city center and the cliffs but very quiet and rural. Guillaume and his assistant Paula where super nice and friendly. We definitely come back some day. Obrigada!

Bernardo was an amazing host! We truly had a wonderful time at Bernardo’s place – we loved everything about it. The lighting, especially the brick-style lamps, was really unique and added a special touch. His place is also equipped with everything you need for a relaxed and hassle-free holiday. Aljezur was the perfect base for exploring the area between Aljezur, Lagos, and Sagres. The town itself also offers plenty of shopping options as well as some excellent restaurants, bakeries, and cafés. Communication with Bernardo was super easy, and he was proactive in making sure we had a pleasant stay. We can truly recommend him and his place!

Na een fijne ontvangst en warm welkom door Ana en de nodige uitleg, tips en rondleiding kon onze vakantie van 2 weken starten in Casa Oliveira. Wat hebben we genoten van dit heerlijke huis maar vooral het mooie buitengebeuren met als kers op de taart het zwembad. We hadden echt moeite om deze prachtige plek te verlaten om op pad te gaan in de omgeving. Je waant je in 'the middle of nowhere' en zo lekker veel privacy maar toch ben je in tien minuten in Tavira (leuk gezellig stadje waar we iedere avond hebben gegeten) en de omliggende stranden. We hebben (een deel) van de Seven Hanging Valleys Trail gelopen en dat vind ik echt een aanrader. Je hoeft niet perse bij het begin te starten. Daar is het lastig om je auto zetten. Voor ons was het ook belangrijk dat we fijne bedden hadden met airco in de slaapkamer en overal horren waar nodig. De buitendouche ook een groot pluspunt maar we hadden ook nog eens prachtig weer. Kortom: een heerlijke plek om zeker nog eens naar terug te komen.

Upea paikka rentoutumiseen ja lomailuun! Fantastinen talo, erittäin siisti, kaikki toimii, talo on kaunis, uima-allas oli täydellinen. Talon sijainti täydellinen. Kävelymatka Carvoeiron keskustaan. Kuitenkin talolla saa olla omassa rauhassa. Carvoeiron kylä aivan ihana. Paljon tekemistä ja nähtävää vaikka kylä on varsin pieni. Hyviä ravintoloita ja ihania kahviloita. Erityismaininta sille, että talo sijaitsee oman viiniviljeyksen vieressä. Viini vieläpä hyvää:) Talon vuokraajille jääkaapissa valmiina yksi pullo; kuuluu majoitukseen. Meidän perheemme viihtyi talossa niin hyvin, että tyttäremme haluaisivat jo nyt palata sinne pariksi viikoksi. Suosittelen lämpimästi. Antonio oli hostina myös kiva. Ystävällinen ja huomioonottava.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Joel, Fernanda und Amândio war sehr schön, wundervolle Gastgeber und ruhige Umgebung, sehr angenehme Unterkunft, mit allem was man braucht. Wir durften uns vom Garten Tomaten und Paprika nehmen. Der Ort mit sehr netten Restaurants und Cafe's sowie tolle Strände sind innerhalb weniger Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Gutes Wandergebiet! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

This is a great little cottage not far from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. Bernard and Carol were so friendly and made us feel right at home. They’ve really created an oasis outside. It was great to use the BBQ and relax after a busy day exploring. We just loved our stay and 100% recommended it to anyone that wants a little peace and quiet and serenity.

Logement idéalement situé proche du village, mais à l'écart du bruit d'un centre ville. A 5mn de Benagil, à 5 mn du départ de la randonnée des 7 vallées suspendues. Des plages paradisiaques à moins de 5mn en voiture. Bien équipé, literie très confortable, cuisine très bien équipé. logement TOP. Piscine pour se rafraîchir. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Danke für eine superschöne Woche! Das Haus inklusive Grundstück ist ein Traum! Perfekt für mehrere Personen die trotz gemeinsamer Zeit auch etwas Privatsphäre haben wollen. Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet und alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden. Der Pool und Garten sind wirklich einmalig und lassen einen den Alltag vergessen. Danke auch an Francisco für die gute Kommunikation und ausführliche Einweisung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

I had an amazing stay at Talurdo! The area is very secluded and calming. It was so relaxing to walk around, chill in the hangmat, sweat in the sauna, look at the stars … Chris and David are the most lovely hosts. 10/10 would reccommend for a detox getaway in nature.

We stayed here with my wife and our two young kids, and it was exactly the kind of peaceful countryside escape we were hoping for. The house itself was spotless and incredibly well-appointed — from the basics like coffee, tea, and sugar to thoughtful extras like shampoo, body wash, plenty of towels, and even laundry soap. It really felt like everything had been considered to make our stay comfortable. The setting is just beautiful, surrounded by farmland, with wildflowers in the air and the occasional soft sound of sheep bells in the distance. It was so quiet and serene, a perfect place to truly unwind. Our kids loved the pool and games room, and the strider bikes were a huge hit — such a great touch for little ones. Francisco was a fantastic host. He made us feel welcome right away and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway in the countryside

Het huis is prachtig, ligt erg mooi, superschoon en comfortabel en heerlijk rustig. In love with Guna. De ontvangst door Bernardo en Ricardo was heel fijn. Ook hun tips waren erg leuk en in venal van nood helpen ze perfect

As two combined families, the villa's next door to each other worked perfectly! The setting is beautiful and the views from the terrace, stunning for a sun set. We had everything we needed and had a wonderful week. Easy enough to find. Nick was prompt meeting us and was helpful with lots of information. Villa's both well equipped and comfortable. Comfy beds, soft towels, plenty of space. Pool was great and cleaned regularly. All in all a fabulous stay. Thanks all.

Shanti's place was just what we needed before heading home. Loved doing the goat walk. The fireplace was amazing on the cool nights. Coffee on the back deck under shelter looking over the hills listening to nature. Really enjoyed talking with the International volunteers who work the farm. Very remote and quiet. A very unique experience that we thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely do again.

Was für ein fantastisches Erlebnis! Das Tiny House ist ein wahres Juwel, eingebettet in eine traumhafte Landschaft. Man spürt sofort, wieviel Liebe und Details in jedem Winkel stecken. Hier konnte man so wunderbar entspannen und die Natur in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Ruhe war herrlich und die Umgebung lud zu wunderschönen Spaziergängen ein. Ein großes Plus war auch der Kontakt zu Mark, dem Vermieter. Er ist ein total netter und unkomplizierter Typ, und seine liebenswerten Hunde haben unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht. Es war die perfekte Mischung aus Abenteuer, Gemütlichkeit und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft. Wir sind total begeistert und können dieses kleine Paradies jedem empfehlen, der dem Alltag entfliehen und pure Entspannung erleben möchte!"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loft. It really felt like a little piece of paradise! We loved how immersed in nature it felt & particularly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, being able to watch the sunset every night from the terrace & being able to make our own freshly squeezed orange juice from the plentiful oranges. The daily visits from the dogs was also a joy. Jurgen & his parents were lovely hosts. Lots of places to visit nearby & great eating recommendations too. We will definitely be back!

Villa is absolutely beautiful exactly like it is in the photos highly recommended, Would definitely stay here again villa is only a few minutes from the town by car. Everything you could possibly wish for in the kitchen, right down to a third fridge in the outside barbecue area. We stayed with friends, as 2 families so eight in the villa and had plenty of room. also separate areas for all of us so it never felt like we was all on top of each other I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here Till the next time 😎

Atypique, paisible et accueillant !! Un combo parfait pour passer des vacances en algarve. Les espaces communs, jardins et piscine sont magnifiques. La propriété a était rénovée avec goût avec un sentiment d être comme à la maison. L emplacement est idéale pour éviter les foules et découvrir l algarve.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, les logements sont très confortables, l'environnement est très bien entretenu et verdoyant. Sublime terrasse !

We really enjoyed our stay at Monte da Choça. Rudolfo was always ready with help, a good story or good suggestions on where to go. We had some issues in the beginning but it was quickly solved and Rudolfo was very responsive. We enjoyed the very clean pool a lot, feeding the animals every morning, petting the super cute dogs and cats, and our son really liked the games and the bicycle available, and we spend a lot of time just roaming the grounds. The hotel is placed in a very pretty nature setting and only 10 mins drive away from some of the most breathtaking beaches we have ever visited. We would love to come again one day.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay! We couldn't believe how beautiful this place is. House, garden, pool, the view over the mountains and the quiteness where absolut fantastic. 25 minutes by car to Faro beach just by to the airport. We would definitely come back. Our little kids loved the place as well.

We had a fantastic stay with Carlos. Carlos gave us clear directions and was helpful with suggested places to visit including Praia do Grande which was a beautiful sandy beach, like being in the Caribbean! The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. We loved squeezing the oranges and lemons from the garden and the peaceful surroundings. Lots of places to sit in the garden, always an opportunity for a sunny spot. There were restaurants nearby and a supermarket in Monchique. We only had a short 3 day break but can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Carlos, for a great stay!

Wir waren als Familie mit sechs Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind vor Ort und haben uns ab der ersten Minute wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist wunderbar eingerichtet und bietet eine sehr ruhige und angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist perfekt um Ausflüge mit dem Auto zu den zahlreichen spektakulären Stränden und Felsenküsten zu unternehmen. Fernando und seine Familie sind wunderbare Gastgeber, waren jederzeit gut erreichbar und haben uns sehr geholfen! Wir würden immer wieder kommen!
