Holiday rentals with a kayak in Fannin County

My family loved Jessica’s house. Easy access to the river, and there’s a nice 1/2 mile loop we could do with our pup. House is beautiful- enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and sauna. She has a fire pit down the steps by the river that looked amazing- just a little too cold when we visited. Would 100% stay here again. Jessica as a host was very easy to communicate with. Check in was a breeze and she resolved a very minor issue promptly which we greatly appreciated.

I’m tempted to write a bad review so more dates will be available when I’m ready to come back. This was our 2nd visit and it was great again. So much to do without leaving the house. Fishing, kayaking, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, board games, etc. Great price too! The only problem this time was that the WiFi was a bit spotty, even after a couple resets. Probably for the best though! Looking forward to our next visit soon hopefully.

Our two night stay at Beth’s was excellent! Beth was very responsive, always answering my questions almost immediately, including assisting with great local recommendations. The house is immaculate and even nicer than expected from the photos. It was very comfortable, roomy and perfect for our stay with our three grandchildren. Location was very good, just a few minutes drive from downtown Blue Ridge. Beth alerted me of a potential small plumbing issue, but had it taken care of prior to our arrival. It is clear that Beth takes great care of this place and is a great host!

Beautiful and spacious home. The view, hot tub, pool table, etc. were all great. Amazing sunsets. Perfect for our extended family gathering. Appreciated the responsiveness of the owners. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time staying here. This charming cabin has everything you will need for your stay! Its so cozy and fun and the host really did think of it all when it comes to accommodating to guests. From a little charging station for your devices, to a tv in every room, kayaks, grill, a hot tub this place really does have it all!! We had so much fun. The porch was my absolute favorite spot to be. We had a fantastic time!! I was so sad to leave. We will for sure be back!!

Blue Turtle Villa was perfect for our group of 7 plus our dog. The layout was perfect with plenty of bathrooms (with big fluffy robes in all of them!) and an open floor plan. The upstairs loft area was great for our kids to play video games during downtime. We cooked several meals in the well-appointed kitchen and were able to take advantage of the beautiful weather and dine outside on the lovely patio. The backyard was my favorite part of the house with a firepit, clean hot tub, and great views of the amazing surroundings. The house is about as close to being in a national forest as possible. Allie thought of everything when stocking this house - they not only had several kayaks/paddleboards available but they all were fully functional and they had all the accessories you could want/need (life jackets of all sizes, wet bags, even a handy rolling cart to help haul it all down to the lake!). Beautiful area with tons to do if you love nature and hiking like us! Highly recommend.

What a FUN Getaway Cabin! I honestly feel we didn't spend enough time just enjoying the space. Exceptionally clean with plenty of necessities. We appreciated there was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags and we did not have to run to the store for more. Plenty of towels for showers and hot tub use. We are an active family of 4 with 2 upper elementary children and we all equally enjoyed the space. The wifi was excellent (this is not always the case with lake cabins!), the living and dining spaces were large and welcoming for the whole family to be together. So many games to choose from. We visited in Spring, but this would be a great winter hideout as well! Overall just so pleased with our stay!! Close to so many activities. I will note the King bed is in the upstairs bedroom. This worked okay for us, but I did overlook that in this listing.

Great location with lots of fishing! Everything was clean and stocked. Brian was a very kind and responsive host. We would definitely book there again.

We had a great stay at the cabin! The cabin was better in person than the photos - which is hard to do! The teens loved the kayaks, the pool table & the basketball. The toddlers loved all the toys & the slide in the bunk room! The adults loved the hot tub & the propane fire tables. The keyboard & chess was also a huge hit. This cabin really has something for everyone! We had a great time & there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out (we had a big group). The cabin was very clean & fully stocked. We really appreciated all the towels, blankets & the extra touches like spices, seasonings, popcorn & coffee! Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place. Home was comfortable and cozy and we had lots of room for all of our crew. Plenty of things to do at the home and in the community. Really nice and peaceful. Was a treat to see all the deer.

The scenery is very pretty and the setting is ideal for anyone looking to relax and unwind. Leza was an exceptional host—her communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. She was incredibly responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The cabin itself was well-equipped and thoughtfully prepared, providing all the comforts of home. Wonderful stay! We experienced privacy and a peaceful getaway which is exactly what we were hoping for! I will say there are surrounding houses but in our 2 stays this far we have not encountered other guests. The hot tub was amazing and very relaxing. We loved the kayaks and there are multiple locations to go fishing. It’s about 30 min off the main road so plan accordingly as far as packing enough food so you don’t have to make little trips. We planned food and used the grill often. WiFi was great as well! If you’re looking to go hiking there are multiple trails close-ish by. Usually 30min-1.5hr drive.

WOW such a great escape from the city with our family and friends. Being able to play, eat, and just have a cup of coffee outside and listen to the sounds of the river was so peaceful. Chelsea did everything possible to make our trip great- including ordering fishing rods and a tackle box so my young son could experience fishing for the first time. Also the Blackstone grill was a huge surprise for us and we used it to grill almost every meal!

There were 2 couples that came with us to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and it was SO relaxing. We didn’t leave the cabin once until we checked out. We fished, kayaked, enjoyed the hot tub, &grilled out yummy dinners both nights . Had so much fun with game night on the screened in back porch at night . During the day we created an Olympic type game and teamed up to play all the fun things that were at the cabin. Corn Hole, darts, &ping pong. We had a blast! It was so pretty being on the lake. We are definitely planning another trip soon! Mae was so helpful, and kind. She let our friends check in early to decorate so we could surprise my boyfriend(he had NO clue they were coming) it was AWESOME!! Thank you for a fun memories :) you have a beautiful cabin!

Such a wonderful location! We shopped, spent and ate our way thru multiple states, restaurants and shopping venues. Loaded with fun-filled entertainment. We saw deer and wildlife all around us. (Bigfoot was near by.. )😉 The back porch overlooks the river and was perfect so calming and mesmerizing. An absolute amazing gem. The cabin was very comfortable and a fit made complete just for us. Well appointed and tastefully decorated. Riverside Retreat is truly delightful, splendid and superb! An immeasurable pleasure!
