Holiday rentals with a patio in Falls Church

It was a great and very calm place to stay!

This was my second stay at this Airbnb, and it was just as fantastic as the first—if not better! Returning felt like coming back to a peaceful little retreat. The space remains just as charming, clean, and thoughtfully put together, with every detail designed for comfort and ease. This time around, I was able to fully enjoy the private outdoor patio, and it truly elevated the experience. Whether sipping coffee in the crisp morning air or winding down with a cocktail in the evening, it quickly became my favorite spot to relax. The hosts continue to go above and beyond—warm, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making every stay exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Still highly recommend without hesitation!

I stayed here while visiting a friend in DC, and the apartment itself was exactly my speed: comfortable, no-fuss, in a classic 1950s building, and a perfect view of the Capitol ( the balcony was perfect for morning-coffee contemplation). Everything was clean and as expected (ie: the WiFi and A/C saved my life). The free parking spot was also a major W against the hellscape of DC street parking. The host was genuinely the best. Every little question I had was answered kindly, which made the stay EASY. Also, having access to the gym was a nice touch (OK I mostly stared at the treadmill and called that cardio). Anyway, If you’re looking for something simple, well-located, with a direct window into DC, this is your spot. I’d absolutely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at Amy’s place for roughly a week while we moved into NVA. Her place was excellent and at a convenient location - short drive to the metro, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and I really liked the peace of the woods behind the house. We definitely recommend staying here. Amy and was very proactive with offering assistance and recommendations, the apartment was clean and spacious, nice kitchen, and the bed was comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved staying here! Such a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. We were able to walk to and from the zoo so easily which was perfect for us. The driving distance to go sightsee in D.C. was not bad either and the street parking was very convenient. Chris was always reachable in case we had any questions. Definitely would rebook here again!

The owner of the establishment did a good job of establishing and furnishing a pleasant place to temporary stay. The owner gave us the ability to park for free; which is a substantial plus in NW DC. Other than trying to get there and beat the incoming storms, my wife and I had no objections to their family's hospitality. My wife was satisfied with the location in proximity to locations to where she wanted to explore and go in and around DC via Metro and other forms of mass transit.

We were so happy with this basement apartment and location. Robert was very helpful and responsive. Most days we drove to the mall parking garage near the Pentagon and took the metro from Pentagon City station to the Smithsonian station (the pre-loaded $30 card available online was perfect for our stay). Driving from the unit to Arlington took mere minutes. It isn't too far from Mt. Vernon either. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We would stay here again! The current pictures under sell the unit. We were very happy to find it was bigger than expected. It could use a little updating, but we didn't mind. All we did was sleep, eat some breakfast, and return each night with aching feet and legs from a typical day of walking D.C.

We had a wonderful stay at Shafia’s place! We enjoyed the area and rode the Metro from the Franconia Springfield station into DC. This was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for us. (Girls’ Trip!) We visited AmThai close by, Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, The Library of Congress (tickets in advance), Zaytinya (reservations), the National Portrait Gallery, Virtue Feed & Grain (reservations), Old Town Alexandria, Old Town Books, the Swiss Bakery nearby, Barca (reservations), and Tous Les Jours Bakery & Cafe. This place is better than the pictures! Very clean and perfect for two people! Will recommend to everyone. I go to Maryland a few times a year and I will make this my number one choice!

The house was amazing. It was a big spacious house and very clean. Even down to having items accessible to you. Like body wash, shampoo and lotion, extra towels and sheets. It really felt like a home away from home.

Eric was an excellent host. There were a couple issues and Eric addressed them immediately. Beautiful home, love the neighborhood.. felt like we were at home. Everything you need to enjoy time with family and friends.

Super charming home in a great location! The renovations on this classic Victorian are top notch with high end appliances and furnishings. Bathrooms are all renovated and modern. Kitchen is very well stocked with EVERY item you could possibly need including extra beverage drawers, two ice makers and a wine fridge. (Do note that the microwave is small so heating anything in a large dish won't work.) Linens are good quality and in good condition. Beds very comfortable. (Do keep in mind that the 4th bedroom in the attic, due to the ceiling height isn't suitable for tall people but kids would probably think it's cool) The screened porch and patio are very private and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Westover Village is a less than 1/2 mile walk and offers restaurants, a bakery, ice cream shop, pharmacy, hardware store, post office and library. (I highly recommend Thai Noy and the pizza and subs from The Italian Sore.) West Falls Church Metro Station is just a 10 minute drive

Beautiful location and very clean, well-kept apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable (reminding me of upscale hotel). Vera is very responsive. Lots of storage. There is no separate a/c control in the space, however she was very responsive when asked to adjust the temperature (a bit of a nuisance though to have to ask). Also, although the host knows about it and mentions it in the check in instructions, the door handle is broken and very difficult and frustrating to get In and out of.

This was the perfect accommodations for my extended family. The home is spacious yet cozy, with plenty of room for everyone. We had children with us as well, so the games were a wonderful touch. The backyard is beautiful too. Thank you for a lovely visit!

This was a wonderful stay. I loved how they communicated. Very informative. I was in town for multiple events and the furthest i traveled was 12 min. The location is amazing. Compact amenities. Definitely recommend

Celia was one of the most accommodating hosts that I have encountered. She allowed an early check-in and late checkout. She had apples, bananas and nuts for snacks in addition to coffee beans and even a couple of containers of milk, so I didn’t have to run out for coffee. The space is in a historic house in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It was quiet and there was a nice, private porch outback, which was a great spot for reading. The neighborhood itself is lovely with well maintained yards. A Metro station is about 1/2 mile away which allows easy access to all parts of DC. We were so happy with the accommodations, so I highly recommended Celia’s place.

Me and my husband had a truly fantastic stay here at the Jewelbox. It is in a very sweet neighborhood that is the perfect walking distance from E-bikes, a park, multiple bus stops, a gas station, and convenience stores. Each one of the hosts on this stay made me feel incredibly comfortable to say if I needed ANYTHING!! They put effort into making it very easy to find where to park, and took previous feedback to make things even better than before. I seriously loved the stay here and WILL BE returning⭐️

Katie’s place was exceptional. It was spotless, stylish, and felt newly renovated. You truly can’t beat the location, right in the heart of Leesburg, yet peacefully tucked away on a quiet, charming street. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, the kitchen was modern and has everything you need, and parking was a breeze. Every detail made for a relaxing stay. I highly recommend Katie’s place for anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The self check-in with a simple access code was super convenient and made everything easy from the start. The location is amazing — close to all the main tourist spots in Washington, DC. We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC and would love to stay again!

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Israel’s place is a must stay while in DC. I wish I could gate keep it for myself lol. It’s exactly as described in photos. Perfect location in the Navy Yard and walkable to so many places. Each day I was able to walk to Orangetheory and SolidCore to workout and found a cute coffee shop along the way. I think the only thing I disliked was the firmness of the mattress but this will differ for everyone. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. Responsiveness, location, cleanliness, check-in, were all on point. Additionally really appreciated Israel’s flexibility as a host. I was supposed to stay in December but due to a last minute emergency I needed to change my reservation literally hours before. Last minute travel changes with flight, accommodation, etc can be hectic but Israel helped make this part easy for me. Overall, great experience and will definitely be staying here again!
