House holiday rentals in Falkenstein

The Kostnerhof is a very nicely renovated farmhouse. We used the outdoor oven, sauna, swimming pond and bathing barrel extensively. The rooms and kitchen are beautifully furnished. The view is fabulous. The hosts are very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a wonderful, relaxing week.

I knew this was going to be a unique experience stayed in a historic home, but I didn't realize how comfortable and relaxing it would be. The home is so quiet and has all the modern conveniences integrated in a subtle way such that it does not ruin the ambience. Carmen and her daughter Melissa were so welcoming and hospitable. They not only helped us find good places to eat and experience nature, but they helped us find our ancestors in the local villages. This is next level hospitality. My only regret is that I didn't stay here longer!

Great location, very quiet environment with lots of nature around, the charm of the cottage/accommodation is a dream, the check in went smoothly and quickly. We were traveling by motorcycle and for us it was simply a dream, on roads and activities from the accommodation. Very nice hostess, she took the time to give us information. We would be happy to book it again and again. 😊🙋🏼‍♀️

It was a simple, uncomplicated stay where everything just fit. Wonderful care, quick answers, always helpful and available. I was particularly impressed by the very tasteful and modern clean apartment and bathroom furnishings. The kitchen was really equipped with everything you need, super clean and neatly arranged. Even a dishwasher was available. The absolutely perfect vacation to relax. We can only recommend it from the heart and will gladly come back

Reiko is incredibly service minded and has a great home for 4 people. Nothing was missing, and Reiko was quick to respond if we asked anything. The only thing we missed was air conditioning in one of the rooms when it got incredibly hot. We would definitely recommend his place to others.

Christian was a great host and we had a great time at the house. Communication went smoothly and the house is really well equipped.

Place was great for our party of 6. Hans was very communicative with us when we had any questions. We would definitely pick Han’s place again when going to Germany.

We were there as a family with two children and a dog, the host was very friendly, everything was clean and the restaurant next door was also delicious. In the area there were many opportunities to walk and a special recommendation is the wild garden near Furth in the forest.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean, cozy, and perfectly appointed. Especially the cafe right next door is a highlight – for Airbnb guests, Carmen even opens outside of regular times. There was a short delay at check-in, but she sweetened us with two free ice cups. The next morning, she gave us cappuccino and cake with the words: “You've already paid enough for the place.“ This warmth runs through the entire stay. The lovingly designed guest book contains all the important information – from doctors to leisure tips. The rabbits on the farm are a nice extra. We were particularly impressed that Carmen actively asked for feedback on departure to improve her service. This attitude absolutely suggests that she is a passionate host and wants to give everyone a great time. Secret tip: Email Carmen before booking;)

We've been there for the second time now because the house is just magical. It is sparkling clean and equipped with all you need. We enjoy the tranquility and the area and above all the good air, here you can fully switch off from everyday life. Hatice is always totally friendly and super straightforward. Her in-laws live next door. Super people who are always available and help right away if you need something. Couldn't be better. Gladly come again!

We spent a weekend at Ferdinand's and it was wonderful. The surroundings and the tranquility were particularly nice. Everything you need or want is available. It was all very clean. We felt super comfortable and will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended by us.

The house was great, everything was clean and exactly as described. The only thing I would like to mention is the fact that there was only one small towel per person which just isn’t enough, I would definitely recommend bringing your own. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a great week in the apartment and felt completely comfortable! The apartment is surprisingly spacious – it looks even bigger in real life than in the pictures – and also the garden is really big, which was great for playing football together, for example. A highlight was definitely the jacuzzi, which we had a lot of fun. From the house you can start directly to hikes, but we also took a trip to the small Arbersee and took a beautiful tour there. In general, it is helpful to arrive by car because it makes it simply more flexible in terms of activities. The communication with the landlords was consistently great – friendly, straightforward and fast. Overall we had a really nice time and can only recommend the place!

Beautiful house in a very quiet area. You have to go a little further to do your shopping, but you get peace and quiet in return. The horses that occasionally grazed in the garden (they first ask if you are okay with that) made it complete. Highly recommended for hikers, cyclists and those seeking peace and quiet.

The accommodation is highly recommended for dog owners. Large property that is fenced. Sleeping places, kitchen, bathroom had everything you need. Arrived with 6 people and three dogs was just great. For me, there is only one point to mention, the stairs are very steep. Our older dog could not run up or down these. She then slept downstairs for the days.

A beautiful house with great views and amenities. The ideal place for a break in nature. The house is super equipped, so you feel right at home :)

A wonderful stopover with heart! Stefanie described everything exactly as it was on site: authentic, warm and down-to-earth. The farm exudes a family atmosphere in which we immediately felt comfortable. It was a real highlight, especially for our children (7, 4 and 1 years old): in the morning they were allowed to feed the cows - a little adventure that they will not forget so quickly. They didn't want to leave! The accommodation is simple, but just right for those who love country life. We only used the kettle and otherwise ate out. Highly recommended as a short break from everyday life or for a longer stay.

We have been able to use this airbnb for 3 weeks. The many positive reviews actually speak for themselves. We have enjoyed. For those who love a beautiful quiet environment with a lovely nature that invites you to walk and/or mountain bike, this is "the place to be" In addition, you have a beautiful authentic (in my opinion) large German house located on a hill and that is equipped with all comforts. Enjoy the view from the balcony and the magnificent silence. Unfortunately, we residents of the Rotterdam area have not been used to this for years and will certainly miss it. Hans is a perfect host who responds quickly, kindly and adequately to any questions. His explanation of the route to follow, the intake and any other possibilities was clear. Too bad that a few important attractions (natural pool, toboggan run) in Grafenau were closed in late May, early June. It will not surprise you that I highly recommend the house, location and surroundings

See nice little cottage and super nice hosts. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to be alone, this is the place to be.

We recently stayed 5 nights at the Hideaway in the Heart of Landshut. The house was truly wonderful! We went with 5 people spanning 3 generations and the setup was perfect. The ground floor and 1st floor are almost like separate apartments so worked great to have Grandparents on the bottom floor, parents on the first floor (second floor for you Americans) and the kids in the top attic floor. The proximity to the old city of Landshut was amazing! 1 minute walk to the Cathedral of St. Martin’s. Restaurants close everywhere and shopping as well. The Amenities were also terrific. The Kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable, and appliances to satisfy everyone including washer/dryer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and espresso machine. In addition parking is included in a nearby garage. My family and I highly recommend this destination and will be coming back again soon.

If you are looking for a relaxing place with a few people, you will be super satisfied here. The house and furniture are a little older but very clean. The sauna use was also mega!:)

We were traveling as a large family with 3 generations. I had to clarify two things in advance about traveling with a toddler and immediately received an answer and a helpful concession. Then we arrived and we ALL immediately felt at home. The apartment is beautifully located and really practical and cozy. Communication 1a. You are immediately on the Isar and can walk along the water to the city center. The garden is a real feel-good garden. The equipment for pastime for all 3 generations phenomenal - from picture book to Playstation to very traditional street chalk, grill and badminton and much more. I look forward to being able to stay here again at the next family reunion in Landshut. Thank you!!!

We've been there for the weekend Everything as described, a cozy house in a beautiful secluded location. It makes you feel right at home. The owners are very nice and available at any time if questions arise. A large kitchen-living room invites you to be together comfortably. The bedrooms are all large, mattresses are great, we slept wonderfully. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need, we didn't miss anything. Plenty of toys for children, also games for adults are sufficiently available. A clear recommendation from us!
