We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

Joelle is the kind of host who makes sure you don't miss anything and that your stay goes wonderfully, we will remember it. Her house is very well decorated, very well maintained and extremely well equipped, everything is thought of so that you only have to bring your personal belongings. We highly recommend Joelle's house!

Pauline's place is just wonderful. The house is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, the bedrooms are cozy and beds comfortable, the living room is welcoming and relaxing, and the kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in. The garden is lovely and a bit of paradise filled with lavender, rosemary, thyme, mint and other herbs as well as olive, plum and fig trees. The surrounding areas are made up small villages, rolling hills of vineyards, orchards and fields so there is a lot to see and places to explore. Thanks Pauline, you are a great host!

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

A really great find. This is a lovely, relaxed place to stay. Well equipped and maintained, without being fussy. A wonderful place to get away from it all and spend time with friends and family. Easy access to Bergerac and the surrounding area, which has some very pretty walks. The recommendations of local places to visit were very reliable too. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. we had a wonderful few days here. Michael was amazingly helpful with lots of suggestions of local events and places to visit. The pool and gite were both wonderful and peaceful next to vineyards and fields of sunflowers. the pool is only shared with one other small gite so you get it to yourself 😊😎🍷. Easy to find quiet location, in area with some of the most beautiful villages in France with Markets on every day in the surrounding area as well as superb Michelin restaurants using incredible local produce . Comfortable open plan property, modern facilities in traditional cottage, easy to operate and cosy wood pellet heater. Property less suited if very tall ( I’m 6’4”) due to beautiful but low beams. Parking is right next to property. Host very responsive on any request.

We had a pleasant stay. Suzy is welcoming and accommodating. The cottage is very well equipped, like at home, with the pool and its terrace in addition 😊 Very good location, close to the city center, shops but still quiet with a superb view. Stunning house with everything we could of needed! Super comfy beds and all having our own ensuite was fab. Small supermarket is only a stroll away with everything we needed for a weekend food shop! Sophie was lovely and let us come in the house before it was ready/ check in to put our cases in. Thanks again for a lovely weekend!

House with a lot of character, very well equipped and very beautiful potential perfectly exploited. Laurence and Jean-Michel are very welcoming, considerate and available. Jean-Michel, a passionate bakery enthusiast, has concocted excellent pastries and bread for our breakfast. (Order on request). Ideal place to spend a very good time relaxing. Many picturesque villages to visit in the surrounding area. Thank you to them, and I look forward to returning.

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

Had a wonderful stay . Peaceful and calm . Will definately be back. Cannot recommend highly enough. Especially if your after somewhere to relax and de - stress 😃

Very peaceful & relaxing stay, lovely walk into Monpazier with nice restaurants. Thank you to Gillian for inviting me to go horse riding with her, it was absolutely wonderful, we will definitely be returning.

Fiona warmly welcomed us. She was available and flexible on the arrival and departure. The garden setting is sublime. A peaceful place to relax. We'll be back next year.

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodation was clean, spacious, well-equipped and the bed comfortable. The garden is very pleasant, safe for our dog who was able to run and have fun. The place is very peaceful, there are many birds, there are 2 nice sheep right next to the garden (be careful though if you have a dog that is a predator, it could manage to get through the fence I think). Finally Charlotte was responsive and very kind, we will come back with great pleasure :)
