Incredible views around Elie, the coast and golf course. The property is highly specced and we could not be happier with our visit. Fiona provides clear instructions on how to access the property. Will definitely be back!!

Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. The Arches was a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable space which allowed us to really relax and switch off. We particularly liked the hot tub and, due to the amazing weather while we were there, we even got to sit in the private courtyard and eat breakfast outdoors. The property has everything you could need. Good kitchen and comfy sofa in the living room. The bed is very comfortable and huge! Fab shower and bath set up. We enjoyed a walk up the hill where the views were stunning. Would recommend this walk. We went into Cupar for lunch one day and ate in the Boudingait which was very tasty food. Would recommend. We would definitely return to The Arches. We’ve been to a lot of AirBnB properties and this is up there with the best we’ve been to. Thank you!

Fabulous! We had 6 days at the Old Piggery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are brilliant and the accommodation equally brilliant too. Peaceful location, well kept gardens, lovely hot tub and there was everything we needed at the accommodation. The hosts also left us some lovely surprises/treats too. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to come home and we will be back again in future. Thank you Sue and Phil!

Absolutely loved my 2 night stay, felt like I was in complete luxury ✨️ Was spotless, modern, amazing bathroom & facilities! Bed was so comfortable, hot tub was easy to heat, the little on site pub was brilliant fun!

I absolutely loved this serene little guesthouse tucked away just outside of Edinburgh. It was very nice, clean, and functional for our family group. It was easy to navigate from there to surrounding areas by car. Ali was so personable and friendly! Truly a pleasure to stay here, and we would gladly stay again!

Had a lovely stay at this cottage . Near to Edinburgh as my son was doing the marathon but in a lovely location . Kylie was response to our messages and a lovely homemade loaf gave that extra touch for our arrival . Would definitely recommend and stay again .

Just wow! We’ve just got back from a simply amazing stay at Pam & Richard’s beautiful cottage. Some highlights for us were: 1) the little touches from treats for the dog to home baking, we felt so well looked after 2) the beautiful surroundings, it was so peaceful, no photos can really do it justice 3) the cottage itself, the beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless and it had everything you need. Pam and Richard were just lovely, and whilst they’re just next door, they didn’t impose at all, we had some brilliant recommendations for walks and food. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you both! x

A really cosy, home from home cottage with a beautiful enclosed garden overlooking the surrounding countryside. Very well equipped and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom is a real treat. Thank you Debbie.

If you are looking for a week off-grid then we would definitely recommend the Hemmel, it was everything we needed and more. Our favourite bits were the views, the peacefulness, and the red squirrels running across the stone wall in the garden! We can’t wait to come back again and explore more of Northumberland. Kate was an excellent host who was extremely helpful and very friendly. We based our plans off her comprehensive local guide folder and filled the rest of the time with the wide variety or board games, books, and DVDs!

Great cottage for a couple or small family. Wish we had a dog. Giddy Gannet very friendly cafe. Easy walk to Elie and the Ship or Pitenween and the lovely Dory Bistro. Tidal pool at Pitenween for the brave swimmers. Anstruther has large Co-op and Bread and Beer on front is lovely in the evening. Had 4-5 days of glorious weather in the East Neuk. Don’t miss the market at Bowhouse if you get a chance it’s very good.

The Nook was an absolute delight to stay at. Immaculate, tastefully appointed and with such attention to detail. When staying at most self-catering properties, there is always something you wished had been provided but Brynne & John had thought of everything - kindling, matches and wood for the fire, toiletries in the bathroom, salt & pepper and tin foil in the kitchen, plenty of books, lots of candles - the list goes on! Stunning garden setting provided lots is outdoor seating to read a book, enjoy a glass of something cold or dine al fresco. A superb property with wonderful hosts. We will definitely be staying again!

Such a wonderful place to relax and recharge. Beautiful views and a fantastic garden. The cottage is cosy and has everything you could want for. Pittenweem and surrounding towns were perfect to explore with loads of walks and great local shops. Dawn was great, really responsive and very helpful.

From the initial contact, through the booking process & the stay itself, we would rate The Den as a 5* choice. Amanda was helpful, friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was spotless. The added touches were very much appreciated. The access to a greater selection on the tv was another bonus. In summary, our all round experience was excellent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Location was great - walkable into Melrose with many restaurants and pubs. Great place to explore the Scottish borders

Just had a lovely stay here in Eyemouth. The house was nice and clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were a nice size, both with ensuites. The house is in a great location in the centre of Eyemouth, only a couple of minutes walk from shops, restaurants, pubs, takeaways, the beach and the harbour. No issues with parking, easily found a spot nearby everyday. If I visited Eyemouth again I would have no hesitation staying here again.

The Bread oven was very comfortable, well equipped and furnished particularly if you want to cook your own meals. The china, cutlery and utensils were all of a much better quality than most Airbnbs .We enjoyed being to sit in an attractive garden. The home made bread, shortbread biscuits, fruit juice, butter, milk and jam were much appreciated and Andy and Sue were helpful and friendly hosts. It was also very useful to be able to charge our EV car on site. We were sent a comprehensive log book before we arrived with gave a lot of useful and helpful information about the cottage and the area. There was plenty of storage space both for clothes and food. We hope to return to explore more of the area than 3 days allowed.

Beautiful accommodation in the lush countryside an easy 15 minute drive into Alnwick. Helen (host) was very welcoming and the goodies waiting for us in the kitchen on our arrival was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again if we were in the Alnwick area. Thanks Helen!

Highly recommend Vanessa’s place if your are visiting North Berwick. Very homey place with beautiful views and a very responsive host. Great location, as long as you have a car!

The cottage is well situated, easily walkable to local amenities. The kitchen is well equipped if eating in rather than dining out. The off-road parking is great for smaller cars but would have been a challenge if we had taken our estate car - narrow one-way street and tight turn. The cottage has an out building which has good sea views and provides shelter on those blustery and damp days. We are looking forward to a future return visit.

Loved our stay at middle cottage. We were on a golfing trip and Gullane, North Berwick and Kilspindie were all less than 20 minutes drive. Location was superb on the edge of East Linton village. Furnishings and linens were great! We felt right at home. It is clear Jan and Bryan have gone to a lot of trouble to welcome their guests. We were very comfortable despite the disappointing weather. (Sadly too inclement to enjoy the garden). The TPE train from East Linton to Edinburgh takes only 18 or 19 minutes which is so much quicker than driving.
