We picked it up to escape the routine, and we were quite surprised by everything, both the house, and the place it was located (in the middle of the mountain), and the kindness of the hosts. It's a very cozy place and helps to disconnect a lot of things. We don't have any sticks, we'll be back!!

We had a fantastic weekend! Our stay at Francisco's cottage was lovely. The house complied with all descriptions, and we felt at home from the first moment. The place is cozy, well cared for and is a perfect environment to enjoy nature. The views from the house were unbeatable. In addition, Francisco was always available for any questions and offered us his help at all times. He also recommended restaurants and places to visit. I certainly recommend Francisco and his home. We will definitely be back!

It has been a stay of total disconnection, a lot of tranquility, everything is perfect. The house is as seen and described in the listing, it does not lack anything, the beds are very comfortable, the beds are very comfortable, we have enjoyed the barbecue and the good weather. We stayed with friends at Cristina's for 3 nights, and we had a delicious stay. The pool, the view, the jacuzzi, the basketball court and the villa as a whole far exceeded our expectations, it was even better than in the photos. Everything is there to make you feel at home, to the point of not wanting to leave the villa. There is not much to add, except that we recommend this place with our eyes closed: a real gem! Cristina is a very attentive and responsive host. Thank you for letting us stay in this place. 🍀

Chemari was a 10-star host. Ready to help us at all times with whatever we needed. We had a problem with the sauna and he immediately came up to assist us and solve it. He also left us several nice touches such as a bottle of wine, coffee and juices. The loft is just as seen in the photos, but even upon arrival, it's even better than what's shown in those photos. Everything is very new, very well cared for and very tastefully decorated. The fireplace seen from the bed is another 10. In addition, he recommended routes or places to go in the area and make the most of our stay. We're coming back with our batteries recharged, as both the house and the area help with that. Totally recommended. If the occasion arises, we'll be back.

The house is as it appears in the photos. Although it's secluded from everything and that gives you a lot of privacy, access is extremely easy and direct. It has everything you need to spend the best stay. We went in cold weather and couldn't enjoy the pool, but we were able to enjoy the fireplace and the rest of the garden. In the patio there are chickens, they do not bother but it is a detail to keep in mind if you go with a dog. Soledad has been very kind and attentive all the time, she gave us many facilities and received us on the day of arrival to explain certain details of the house to us. All in all, it was a nice experience.

We went 5 couples (10 people) to spend a weekend and had a great time. In principle we were going to be 12 but two have not been able to go and I think that, -if nice space there was and had been entered-, for 10 people the house is fine, maybe the 12 would have been a tighter pelín. The house is very nice in a very natural environment, quiet and with privacy. Although the weather didn't accompany us a lot, we enjoyed the gallery, the fireplace and the house itself. The beds were comfortable, the beautiful views. The only thing we suggested to Javier is that the fridge takes a little bit to cool well (when you regulate it), and that we have run out of hot water when we took the shower several. We think in the summer with the pool it would be a total enjoyment. ¡I'm sure we'll be back!

This place is a paradise Luxury qualities, the environment next to the stream and the common areas so well cared for both inside and outside. The rooms are very comfortable. You can't hear a noise that isn't from nature. It is very warm with the heater and its fireplace, in addition to having enough firewood. Maria recommended several places where we could go to eat with our dog in nearby villages and it was a success. It is a perfect place for those who want to rest in the middle of nature and have certain amenities that are not usually found in all rural accommodations. The level of detail and the care with which the accommodation is restored is wonderful. We'll be back for sure

A fully recommended apartment. In a small, quiet village and close to others in the Batuecas region. Ignacio communicated and responded quickly. Of the Airbnb apartments I've been to so far, this is the best.

It was just what we were looking for, a spacious house with plenty of space to enjoy it! The different barbecue areas and tables to eat very chulas! And the pool with the game room the favorite corner!! Mercedes is attentive at all times and recommending nearby activities. Everything was great and up to a few days relaxed with friends.

This is a tranquil place to stay if you are looking for spot to relax! I would stay here again. If you are traveling with dogs, note that their rules do not allow the dog to be left unattended in the unit or to be on furniture/bed. They have doggy beds and water/food bowls for dogs if you need them. The units look exactly like the listing photos. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. If you are coming in on a Sunday plan to bring some groceries with you as there are not grocery stores or restaurants open nearby. I’d recommend going to Salto for a glass of wine and a stroll across the border to Portugal. This spot is also a great home base if you are looking to hike to the Dolmens or stargaze at the lookout for Berrocal de la Data. Thank you again for your hospitality. This was a wonderful stay.

The house was spotless, the kitchen with everything you need, sheets and towels like new, the house is very spacious, the sofa is very large and comfortable, it is a newly renovated house A luxury to have a garden to ourselves. I had to work one day and the WiFi is phenomenal, I work with a lot of data and it was like being working at home. A very quiet area, for long walks. The house is opposite the Sierra de Gredos, it is a beautiful place. We ate at the restaurants and the village bar and great food and super priced. We went in February and the house was always with the heating set, very comfortable. But the best part was Jane's (the host) treatment we had a mishap with the car and she was very friendly, as they had to take my car to the village next door, Jane went to pick me up, really loving and understandable. We'll definitely be back.

We spent a few days 3 families with 4 children including a baby and had a very comfortable stay. The house is spacious and better than what you see in the photos. A great base of operations to deploy in the wonderful surroundings of La Vera. The views and tranquility of the back of the house are priceless. Especially for those looking to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The only downside is the feeling that you don't enjoy the accommodation enough if you want to take the opportunity to move around the area. Absolutely recommended.

We were 6 friends and had a very pleasant weekend. The house was clean, good location and a very quiet place by the river. Ana María was a perfect host in terms of communication before arrival and when we arrived, she explained everything in detail. Just to mention that you can't barbecue in the summer to protect the environment, but there's a grill that we could use. We will definitely repeat, we felt at home!
