Beachfront holiday rentals in Exmouth

This pleasant compact accommodation is exactly as it is described. Clean comfortable and proved very adequate for us and our Labrador, Scout. It is ideally placed for the Marina and promenade walks together with close proximity to shops, restaurants and town centre. Parking for one car is a real bonus in Exmouth.

What a find! Absolutely spotless and immaculate bungalow in a beautiful part of East Devon. Louise and Ian were extremely helpful and welcoming. A perfect spot for chilling out in the peace and quiet, but also in close proximity to Seaton, Beer and Sidmouth with their amenities. Thoroughly recommended!

Cute sea side themed cottage with views of the Ley and all the birds to the front and the prom and beach 20 feet from the back gate. Stunning coast line, great walks, good food nearby and only 20 minutes from Kingsbridge and 30.from Salcombe. Basic holiday kitchen, cosy comfy front room, large main bedroom and adequate 2nd with partial view of the sea. Parking permit for right opposite very convenient for us and the dogs. We had a super week, thanks Eva and Richard.

A lovely property which is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Right near the centre of Lyme Regis with a beautiful view from the top of the well kept garden. Many thoughtful extras and proactive communication which were much appreciated.

Fantastic location and property, photos do not really do it justice. Would defintely return and recommend to all. Access is on very narrow lanes but being on the coastal path and having such a fabulous beach on the doorstep meant our cars could stay parked for most of the stay. Listing states BBQ is gas - it's charcoal, helpful to know if planning a food delivery

We had a wonderful week staying at The Courtyard, beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. Very comfortable upstairs lounge with two balconies to make the most of the views. Plus a lovely courtyard filled with gorgeous greenery making it feel very tropical (and lots inside too). The bed is probably the most comfortable we have slept in! Stoke Fleming is a lovely village with access to the SW coastal path in both directions – the walk to Dartmouth is a must (and get the bus back!) Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area too. Jill’s communication is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Courtyard 😊we most certainly hope to return!

The garden flat is a very pleasent place to stay. Everything in the kitchen works well, the bathroom is lovely and the bed very comfortable. The outside space is a great space to sit and watch what's happening in the estuary. Claire is a good host, friendly and amenable. The village of Shaldon is easy to walk to, with a couple of nice pubs , and friendly people. All in all, a very nice place to spend some time.

We have been to Exmouth on more than one occasion and found Kayleigh’s property to be exactly what we wanted in close proximity to all our requirements. Kayleigh was an excellent host and answered all our queries without hesitation. We would have no problem recommending anyone if they were looking for somewhere to stay and if available we will most certainly book to stay there again.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

A wonderful caravan. Good spot high up with a stunning view of the sea and landscape but still close down to the beach. Family all loved it. Comfortable, clean and excellent quality with everything we needed. Also adored the sitting out the front terrace bit watching the sunset. We went for fossil hunting and it’s an easy drive to Lyme Regis and other Jurassic spots with nearby big shops in Exmouth. There’s also a great restaurant/bar on the sea side bit and a centre with extra bits in the holiday park. Definitely a place we’d consider going back to.

Wonderful - with a beautiful sea view that made it very special. Modern, clean and nicely decorated/equipped. We stayed as four women friends and it was perfect. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t know each other well or are physically large, the space is relatively small with only the one bathroom - which is clear from the listing - but worth bearing in mind.

Had a lovely weekend stay in the caravan, just as described and in a beautiful location. Host was excellent in communicating instructions for check in. will be rebooking in the future!

A well positioned, clean, tidy and comfortable caravan on a fabulous site right by the beach with plenty to do. Caravan was lovely with everything we needed.

We have just returned from our stay and it was the perfect choice for a family. Lots to do at the park when some down time was needed and great coastal location. The accommodation was great - outdoor space, lovely lounge area and little touches like high chair and bed rail for our toddler included. Anja has thought of everything you could need and was very quick to help when we needed support on arrival (my issue not a lack of communication from the host). All in all a great choice for our half term getaway and we will certainly book again.

Our second stay at Swift. We brought my mother this time and she fell in love with it too. Such a charming cabin. It's like stepping into a family holiday home, complete with all their beach combing memories, and adding our own. The sea sounds are hypnotic and send you to sleep (day or night) but you struggle to keep conscious to enjoy it all. We didn't stray far but stayed on foot or swam from our holiday home and slowed down to pace. The beach has fantastic pebbles in so many colours we enjoyed looking at those and the good books we brought. People and dog watching beneath the balcony. I'd recommend taking the footpath next to the sea shanty cafe and doing the short walk up to the old bakery for some cake in their garden or special locally made souvenirs.

This place is amazing! we had a completely wonderful stay here. It has such beautiful views, was pristine, lovely comfy beds and is perfectly situated for a holiday in Shaldon. We couldn't fault it. Thank you Suki for a really lovely break.

Amazing stay at Williams place. Exactly as described, but with absolutely everything you need, including things you may have forgotten. William was so responsive helping us with finding parking for our camper van. Looking forward to trying one of Williams other places, would recommend to anyone, who wants to be near beach and town. This was a fantastic stay, with a great host. Carol was very quick to respond to any queries and very helpful at every time. The property was perfect, and exactly as described. Walkable to the beach and village. Very excited to stay here again some time!

Drift Net Cottage is just beautiful!! We had the best weekend celebrating my friend’s birthday and Steph left us some lovely little treats, so thoughtful. The cottage was super clean and cosy, with everything you need! Thank you Steph x

Jackie is a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive. Her apartment was just as described. A wonderful location in an elavated position overlooking Exmouth bay, View of sea and sunsets was beautiful. A large apartment furnished in a style that suited it. It was very comfortable. Sitting at the window watching sea was sublime! Big bath, great shower plenty of hot water. Plenty of utensils available in the kitchen and even buckets and spades provided. Cds books toys all there to use. I loved it and had a lovely 3 nights. Neighbours very friendly.. everything was lovely and I would recommend it and definitely would stay again. Thank you Jackie

Great house, just as the photos show. Plenty of bathrooms, although no ground floor toilet, in case you were wondering. Comfortable beds; well-equipped kitchen; great outside seating at the front with friendly passers-by to chat to. Quiet location. Harriet was very friendly and helpful, eg she took the bins out and retrieved them the following (bin)day! Very convenient for the beach, the park, and shops (walk through the park). Roadside residents parking (permit) no problem parking but you may not be immediately outside the house. A very relaxing few days’ stay.
