“This place was fantastic, beautifully decorated, quiet/calm neighborhood that was so fun for my morning runs. Very close to supermarkets and a costco for easy grocery shopping. The most gorgeous garden that smelled amazing, my family had a great time admiring the plants and playing cornhole (provided by host) in the yard. The host was very responsive and very helpful when I needed to check-in at 9pm. Check-in was a breeze. Lots of thoughtful touches inside like keurig cups and cream in the fridge. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, silverware, knives, cups, etc. The sofa sleeper was surprisingly very comfortable and my parents say the bed was also comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this place, I plan on coming back if I ever need a place in Minneapolis again.”
Charming, historic home walking distance from downtown Excelsior and Lake Minnetonka. This house, originally built in the early 20th century, was updated, while preserving many of the original touches. The house has: - A cozy main floor with the kitchen, dining area, and living room, complete with TV and fireplace - Two bedrooms upstairs, each with ensuite bathroom including shower and tub. - Play area and third bedroom downstairs
“This quaint cottage was the perfect stay for our family during a lengthy portion of our home remodel that also coincided with the state "stay at home" order. It was super clean, very well appointed, and had everything we needed to stay comfortable while working from home, schooling from home, and more. The location is wonderful - steps from the lake, beaches, and parks. Excelsior is a truly "walkable" town and we were no more than 10 minutes away from restaurants, grocery stores, walking paths, etc. We appreciated having the space of a full home along with a 2-car garage. And the host, Brian, was responsive and helpful with anything we needed. I highly recommend!”

“Debbie and Austin have a wonderful home. They have two paddle boards, a kayak, a canoe, a pedal boat, and a small battery-powered fishing boat. The water at the lake was the perfect temperature and not too many weeds. We were there during the week and the lake was almost empty - I swam across the lake and had no concerns about getting hit by a motorboat. The kitchenette doesn’t have a full oven but the toaster oven is high-quality and the kitchen has every appliance you could need: we made bacon, eggs, cinnamon rolls, grilled cheese in the panini press, brownies, coffee, etc. Debbie and Austin are also highly committed to maintaining safety in the time of COVID: they have an air purifier that cleans all the air over the span of 5 hours. Upon arrival all linens were clean and every surface was sparkling. Since they are so dedicated to cleaning, they asked us to check out earlier if possible (we checked out at 9), but they were incredibly hospitable and allowed us to continue hanging out on the lake and using all their water crafts until 3pm. After we left we drove over to Excelsior and explored the cute little town as well! Truly these are super hosts and you can’t find a better “lake life” experience this close to the Cities!”
