Family-friendly holiday rentals in Evoramonte

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

I had a great experience in this Airbnb hosting! The house was very spacious and clean, which made my stay very comfortable. In addition, the location was incredible, with a huge public park just steps away. The park had padel courts, a soccer field and plenty of space to walk and play sports. It was great to be able to take advantage of the park facilities during my stay. Another positive point was the proximity of a market with a great variety of options, being just a few meters from the house. This made it very easy to buy groceries and meals during my stay. I strongly recommend this accommodation for those looking for a comfortable, clean place with great leisure options and outdoor activities nearby, as well as easy access to a market. I will certainly be staying here again at the next chance!

We had a fantastic time with Marthe and Mathieu. They are both super friendly and hospitable and want to make their guests feel very comfortable. Always approachable and repeatedly asked us if everything was going well and we were satisfied. For us, the kitchen supplies could be a little more extensive, as we like to cook on vacation.

Very spacious house with pleasant terraces and a lovely swimming pool. Carlos and his wife welcomed us with open arms! They were very friendly and very flexible with check-in and check in. Absolutely recommended!

Everything is very good, the accommodation is as described, very quiet we had a great time, especially the children since it has good facilities to play as a family.

I highly recommend taking the jacuzzi to spend beautiful evenings with a view of a starry sky. Perfect for a family. Central location inside the walls to do everything on foot (temple tour, cathedral, restaurants, artisan shops...)

Very cozy house and surrounding space. Very quiet space for those who need to relax / get out of the routine. The visit of the sheep at the end of the day was the most anticipated moment of the day. The Host was always impeccable, and present when needed. A word of appreciation to the cleaning team with whom we had the privilege of meeting at the time of check-out, who were very warm and welcoming.

We recommend the stay as the house is very well equipped, very quiet area and has everything needed for a great vacation. The location is great for those who want to enjoy the wonderful river beaches of Alqueva, especially Azenhas d'el Rei and Mourão or get lost in one of the most beautiful villages in Portugal, Monsaraz.

Celeste’s place is in a fantastic location close to some great restaurants and a short walk from most of the major sights in Evora. There is some noise from youth in the plaza at night but died down by midnight. The location far outweighed the noise for our group. Our group of 6 included 2 toddlers (3 and 5) and 2 grandparents and it was very comfortable for all of us. The kids loved watching the happenings in the plaza from the windows in the morning and saying “Bom dia”to the neighbours walking by. A few of the fixtures are a bit dated which is really the only thing that prevents this from being a more luxury type accommodation. The included parking spot is about a block away and is a tight spot for a bigger vehicle. It’s in a secure private garage which is a plus. We didn’t have any trouble finding an outdoor parking place in the public lot about a block to the west but it required payment with coins during the day (5€/day I believe). We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

This is the third time we've come to Sonia's. I love it. The place is beautiful. The lake, the canoe, the paddle, the walks around allow you to enjoy the natural lake. The air conditioning works well (it was 36 degrees). Some ant and mosquito attacks. I will be back with pleasure.

Great stay at Luis's place, everything was perfect. The house is absolutely charming, typical and located in the beautiful little village of the potters Sao Pedro Do Corval. Delicate attention from Luis upon arrival. I would recommend it 100%.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was spacious, private, and comfortable—perfect for both sunny and rainy days. It had a cozy atmosphere and offered everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did miss a few basics like kitchen towels, chopping boards, and some cleaning utensils. A few of us also found the bed mattresses and pillows less comfortable than expected. That said, everything else was great, and we’d definitely consider staying here again!

We were very well received in this beautiful house at the heart of the Alentejo. Spacious, cozy and extra comfortable. also very welcoming, were the hosts, always helpful, friendly, making us feel at home. They even offered to pick us up at 7 a.m. in Évora. I recommend! Lovely house in a beautiful location! Perfect for disconnecting and recharging!.. Close to a beautiful town. Make sure your vehicle is high enough of the ground since the roads on the approach are Rough. But it’s all part of the charm! Would stay again and would recommend!!

The house was impeccably clean upon our arrival, very well equipped and with everything we needed for a quiet and comfortable stay. This is a real gem. Rural, remote and just what we wanted. The farmhouse was perfect- clean, well equipped and traditional. The pool was lovely and the setting next to shade of the walnut tree was great. We loved the sheep with their bells, the swifts and owls. Close enough to enjoys meals out in Estremoz but secluded enough to leave the world behind. We were well looked after by Maria and her son. Highly recommended.

The road to get to the house is very bumpy, but that's well described. Paul will be waiting for you half way up. The house is really beautiful, very comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful, quiet and peaceful. There are many beautiful places to visit in the area and it was coming back home every night. Unfortunately, we did not have a walk through the cork orchard and no winetasting. We'll go back for that, too. Very nice place!!!!!!

The outdoor space was beautiful, we spent the day by the pool, which we had to ourselves. The house itself was quaint and clean, but quite dark. Some brighter lighting in the kitchen would have been nice. The neighbors were very friendly and recommended that we go up to the castle at Evoramonte to watch the sunset- this was by far one of the highlights of our entire trip. I would love to come back someday with a big group and rent out both of the casas.

We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

Traditional Portuguese home in beautiful surroundings - we were blown away with the views and loved being surrounded by cork forests and on a working farm. We went swimming every day despite the bad weather as the pool views were magnificent. The house is beautiful and very spacious, but more rustic than in the photos. Our elderly parents missed some of their creature comforts like comfy beds, fast flowing showers and a modern kitchen. The owner Paul was very helpful and willing to help us with anything we needed.
