Nestled in the oldest neighborhood of Agios Khrykos, known as "Sevdali," meaning desire in Turkish, you'll experience a serene atmosphere. "Metochi" - Secluded Little Shelter

The tastefully decorated traditional Ikarian shepherd's hut is situated in the middle of nature and offers amazing sea and mountain view. It's an ideal spot to find your peace and to enjoy your privacy. The house is located in the village of Agios Dimitrios (Raches), which is less than a 15-minute drive to Messakti beach. It's highly recommended to have a car to explore the island. The road leading from the village to the house is 1km of dirt road, but accessible with any type of car.

The village is officialy characterized as traditional, is naturaly decorated with century old plane trees and fountain and a stone-built square for infinite play and relaxation. There are a lot of routes through the forest for hiking with destination to other villages as well as the castle of Koskinas.
